I bought a used 2006 Toyota Prius from here a week ago for a great price and I love this car! Amber, the salesperson, was super sweet and fun to do business with. Truman, the owner, was also super friendly. And possibly the best part?, They changed the hybrid battery before I bought it! :-)

Truman is a liar and a thief. I rented property from him and he made lots of promises that he never followed through with. The property was not ready on time like he promised and we were forced to move into it anyway but he would finish it... after two years he still had not finished what he promised and when we did move out he stole our deposit. Truman only cares about your money and will only do what he must to make a sale. You owe me money Truman. I'm shocked you're still in business but I guess there are too many suckers who will fall for a fake smile and a pile of lies.

Pratt Automotive Excellence had exactly the car I was looking for! It was in tip top condition and they gave me a great deal. I am so happy with it! Their service really is excellent!

I bought a car today from Pratt Automotive. It was the best experience I have had. Car was price below bluebook value which made it great price. I recommend Pratt Automotive for great prices and wonderful service.

They are great to work with! I just got my 2012 Toyota Prius at a great price! They are so willing to help and want to do everything they can so that you can have the best experience getting your new car!

I detailed for Truman Pratt for two years. He is a tyrant and a phony. He does everything the cheap way. That smile is not real. He is constantly lying and doesn't care about the consumer just their money. I have seen him scream and go nuts. I've seen him make Amber cry. Meds Truman?

I don t recommend calling ahead and trying to buy a car. I called yesterday afternoon to come look at a car to buy. Truman told me it was currently in the shop getting an issue with the steering column fixed and wouldn t be drivable but hoped to have fixed by end of day. He told me he would call the next morning to let me know it was fixed and i could come drive it. I said if it checks out and drives good I ll buy it and load up on my trailer on the spot. So I was just waiting for his call to let me know It was fixed and I could come look at it. He called this morning and said the car is sold, somebody came in first thing and bought it. That isn t integrity or trustworthy of a person in my opinion!

Pratt Automotive is the best around! I have gone to them for all of my auto needs. They are good people with the best prices and are always willing to work their hardest to find you what you need and for the best price. There's no one else I go to for auto service! Excellent service. They go above and beyond. As honest and skilled a mechanic as I've ever worked with. Recommend wholeheartedly. I have done business with Pratt Auto half a dozen times in the last year and have been pleasantly surprised at every turn. I've gotten tires, oil changes, a full tune up, inspections, valve seals checked, and even bought a car there when my old one was totalled. The charges have always been very competitive (usually better than the other quotes I got) and the service has been amazing. It's great to have someone I can trust for service when I really need it and can be sure my family will be safe in the vehicles I entrust to the care of Pratt Automotive Excellence.

Always get my oil changed in all my vehicles at Pratt Automotive. I have also had several repairs on both my cars and it was excellent service and the price was affordable. Also always get my inspections here. Can't beat dealing with Truman and his never ending smile and good mood.

Not only are they excellent for mechanical needs, which I've used many times, they also went above and beyond to find me a vehicle when I was looking for one. It matched all my criteria and I got an AMAZING deal. I'll always trust Pratt Automotive and will be going there for service for years to come! I cannot reccomend them enough. Truly the nicest mechanic and the best deals I've ever found.

Truman is definitely the most honest mechanic I've ever met. He will never do any work that isn't necessary and will help get you the best price possible on your repairs. He has worked on several of my cars and I've always been satisfied with his work

I have purchased a number of cars from Pratt Automotive Excellence and they have worked on my cars. Truman and his staff are friendly and professional. I trust what they say and feel like I always get treated fairly. If you need to buy a car it is worth the drive to buy it from them.

My husband, Joe, was laid off this week which means we lose his company car. As everyone knows the market is bananas and it has been challenging to find one within our budget, especially after our year.We found a vehicle on marketplace at Pratt Automotive. Upon calling to inquire about the vehicle we spent a lot of time on the phone with Truman. Truman was great! He answered all of our questions, took the time to go through the car very thoroughly. He explained that there were minimal scratches in the paint, rust, etc. He also shared that the interior was "pretty emaculate, really" and no chips in windshield. We all commented on how friendly and helpful he was.It was a 2.5 hr drive for us. We went with cash in hand and ready to purchase this vehicle. Joe told Truman IF everything was as he described, we were his buyers. Upon arrival we saw that there were actually gauges in the paint, several on the hood. There was also significant interior damage (especially in the way back), rust (in more areas then disclosed), and (low and behold) a chip in the windshield.Joe calmly explained to Truman that the description he gave us was not accurate and we did not feel comfortable purchasing the vehicle based on all we were seeing. Joe has been in the automotive field for over 25 years. He is VERY educated. Joe handled the interaction professionally and calmly. Unfortunately, Truman did not.Truman continued rambling on about how he would NEVER stir us wrong and waste our time like that, he was a "man of integrity!" He was very defensive and at one point he grabbed Joe's shoulders shaking him in a very patronizing manner. He then demanded that Joe show him the details he "missed". At one point I said to Joe that we needed to "just go" (it was obvious nothing would be resolved and Truman seemed to be escalating). Truman then mockingly gestured and said "Yeah, Joe, just go; just go Joe!!!" It was a BIZARRE interaction, extremely unprofessional. He ended our time by expressing fast and fake apologies, attempted to approach me (um hard pass), then stormed back into the shop.Anyone can claim to be honest, professional, and transparent...it is a person's actions and interactions that most appropriately reflect their character.I would not recommend doing long distance business at Pratt's.However, we ate at Tubs. It was amazing. Therefore, not a complete waste of a trip.(I will not participate in a debate or respond to rebuttles. I am simply informing other consumers.)

It is very hard to find an honest mechanic and Truman is just that. He has serviced and repaired my car for many years. He has a great staff and his work echoes his business name "excellent " would take my car no where else and highly recommend him to everyone.

Great place to have your car serviced. Employees and the owner are very friendly and courteous. They were sure we understood what they planned to do and the estimated cost before they started.. We are very pleased and plan to continue using them for our future car needs...

I purchased an 02 Mazda Protege about a month and a half ago, and the vehicle is still running stronger than ever after putting 3,000 more miles on her. The staff was quite friendly, especially the blonde-haired receptionist who mesmerized me with stories from her previous teaching career while Truman (who I believe was the mechanic?) complimentarily installed new brake pads on my vehicle and performed an oil change. Test driving the vehicle was as easy as getting an ID copy made, and acquiring the title for the vehicle was as simple as one additional drive back. I found this vehicle on Craigslist, and the responses I got back were quick and entirely honest. I wouldn t mind purchasing another vehicle from this place, but judging from the wonderful running condition my Mazda is currently in, I won t have any need to. Just a shout-out to how well y all are doing, and hoping I can send vehicle-searching customers to the right place.

Frightening, like a trip into the Twilight Zone. The religious material aside one should be wary of those that post reviews about their "honesty". To my face lies, deception as to when repairs would begin, and utter disrespect that is Pratt Automotive. Truman called me afterwards and appologize for his zany outburst "a busy morning" he attributed his blizzard and completely unprofessional behavior to. I was on it though and had arranged to have my vehicle towed again to a new mechanic a gentleman's business on the north east side of town. In no time the easy repair was made, not letting it sit until the 4th day to get to. My work depends on my truck, I'm happy to now know the true nature of Truman Pratt. Best thing he did was to have chased me away this morning in some break down of lunacy. Thanks Truman, meds might help you, not sure but writing most of your 5 star reviews yourself won't get rid of this one :-)

We ended up with a flat tire on our trip from iowa to kansas. They managed to have a used tire after calling about 15 other places and they got it on quickly and affordably. And everyone was super nice.

I was going out of town and needed some repair work done. Truman got me in and back on the road in no time. He and his staff are first rate in my book. There is no reason to go any where else in my opinion.
