I'm dealing with replacing a lug stem that those quacks cross threaded while trying to doope my poor disabled mother out of $750 to do brakes to pass her safety inspection. Those brakes still had 15% life left on them. Thanks for making our lives more difficult! What a horrible company. I wish she had remembered we don't go to Car-X for anything. This is why.

Five. Stars for quality service to Ryan and the entire crew at car X on Saint Charles Rock Road next to the IHOP. The respect and kindness that they seem to have for each and everyone of their customers, especially me, was much appreciated. They will service my car for all of its future needs. Thank you for taking such great care of my car

I was working across the parking lot and needed to get my oil changed on my company fleet vehicle. They were very accommodating since I did not make an appointment. Also I needed to have the vehicle back within four hours! They met and exceeded all my expectations. Shoutout to this carx for great and professional service

Ryan helped me get everything I needed to register to my car to Missouri. He was very personal and super nice! He made a stressful situation much easier to deal with. I would not hesitate to go back to this location specifically for him to help me. Also while I was waiting another worker, an older guy, not sure what his name was, asked if I wanted any coffee or anything and was very polite as well.

It s bad there isn t zero stars. Do not make an appointment here. I made an appointment for 2 PM and 3:30 PM to get emissions test done on both of my vehicles. The guy said yeah I can t get you in back to back but I can get you back in at 3:30. 2 PM comes up they have an open spot in the dock so I guess my appointment was valid. 2 PM appointment goes off without a hitch when I arrive back at 3:30. I greet Ryan by saying time for round two. He says, you just here to drop it off? I replied, No I have a 330 appointment. He says, no I don t have an appointment for you. (This is the guy I made the appointment with I m speaking to.) He says, as you can tell all of my bays are full I ve got a lot of repairs I m backed up on. This is the point when he told on himself; we ll get back that momentarily. At this point he says, so do you want to drop it off or not? I replied no I ll be taking my business elsewhere. He replied to me that s all right. After that him and I have a bit of a back-and-forth about the fact that he doesn t care of my business is walking away. He says to me, you can take your $24 somewhere else I make millions of dollars for this company and have a 4.8 on Google ( it s actual 4.7 as of today and dropping.) I don t need your business. So I surmise what happened was they had a walk-in client for a repair. she walked in right before me and seem to possibly be learning disabled. I have no doubt in my mind that they replaced my appointment with her and that they are taking advantage of her financially. It is well known around my neighborhood that they gouge prices there which is why I would only take my business there for a $24 job. do not spend money with this company. They are predators, and they will not live up to appointment agreements if they can swindle somebody else before you.

Warning, go elsewhere! Purchased 2 tires at the end of May 2023 and by November 2023 they were bald with cords/wires showing only on those2 tires! Called to get them replaced and was told that since I didn't get an alignment there was nothing they could do. When checking the car in for service in May asked for an alignment but was given an alignment check. What's the purpose of that if no action taken? Costly lesson learned and will never go back.

These guys are life savers, literally! I was on the road from Utah to Florida, when my alternator went out on the highway, I managed to make it to Car X when my truck completely died in the parking lot. Kaz, who was at the front desk instantly started to help me out, and both him and the mechanic Ryan dropped everything they were doing to get the parts ordered, my truck fixed, and me back out on the road. They were both extremely friendly and polite and Kaz kept me laughing in spite of my conditions. I highly highly recommend this place, thanks again guys!

I took my car here for state inspections and emissions tests. They found worn brake pads and told me they would replace them and rotors for $750. I told them no . She said we'll have to fail you. I told her ok. Go ahead and fail me I will get someone I know to do it. I think they were mad I wouldn't let them fix it so when he put my tires back on he used the impact wrench and cross threaded a lug nut. I believe on purpose.My mechanic couldn't get the lug nut off of course and it snapped while he tried breaking the stem.So now I needed a new stem. In the process of "easily" pressing out the old stem for a new one it became apparent the whole hub had to be taken apart. Now it's cost me More money for a simple change out brake pads on the front. Not their ridiculously quoted $750, but still much more than a couple brake pads and labor. I wouldn't let them fix it because they broke 2 other vehicles I know of in my family. So I don't trust them. I didn't think they could screw me on state testing. BUT THEY DID. I should have known better than to go there but they were the only ones that said they could get to it that day. Please don't take your vehicle there for ANY reason!

Years ago, they were great.Yesterday I set up an appointment for them to look at my muffler, at 4:00 pm. I arrived in time and was told that I would have to wait an hour.What is the point of an appointment with them if they do. It bother honoring the time???Don t waste your time going here unless you have all day long. Very portly managed.Go somewhere else and see if you are treated better.

Andre is a very kind and upfront man who detailed on what they are doing on my car. Hes very polite and helpful. John,the mechanic worked very diligently on my truck to get it fixed quickly and properly with no bumps in the road. When he had a moment he even offered me coffee.GREAT CREW. Making us regular customers now. Thanks Guys

Scheduled an appointment for 8am. Went in for state inspection, oil change & tire rotation. Everything was very easy & super professional. Had me done & back out the door in a couple hours.I will recommend this location & be returning for future service. Thank you so much for being professional, courteous & efficient. It was a great experience!

This was my first time using the services of Car-X. I am very pleased and will be transferring all of my future car care to this location. The place that had been servicing my vehicle for years, wanted to charge me $110 for an oil change ! I got it done at Car-X for just under $40. Car-X was respectful of my appointment time. The place was very clean and comfortable. And the two service men were friendly and knowledgeable about my vehicle.Service: Oil change

I had a tire going flat and needed help with a quick fix or repair. I lucked out as no one was waiting, and the mechanic was available. Turns out I needed more than just a tire fixed. The rep was very kind and helpful, and the job was done within 1 1/2 hours. Though the dollar amount hurt quite a bit, I left feeling much better about my car.Services: Tires, Tire rotations, Brakes

Came in for a vehicle inspection and couldn t be more pleased with the service. Ryan went above and beyond to help me not only get in and out quickly, but to also make sure I got a good deal on tires that needed to be replaced. I worked with Kaz and he was great with customer service. Another shop made an error on my vehicle. He explained the process in details and provided a very reasonable price quote for the additional work I needed. I am extremely happy with their service. Kaz and his staff are great! I highly recommend coming here! I went in today to get my brakes done! These guys will get the job done fast, easy and painless. Kaz is great, he s very helpful, he will not get mad about any questions you have about service no matter how ignorant you are with cars(me). He s very welcoming and sweet! I was having trouble passing inspection at another location for unknown reasons. I called and Ryan got me right in. I have never had this kind of speedy service. I was in and out within ten minutes. Made an appointment there for my emissions test. I arrived a little early. Didn't have to wait to long. I was in and out in about 30 mins or so.
