6.0L powerstroke broke down 0.2 miles from this shop. They had someone ready to start looking at it the instant the tow truck got me there. They quickly diagnosed the truck, had spare parts quickly available and got me back on the road same day!

To say I highly recommend Shuster Diesel Sales/Performance and Repair would be an understatement. I have had an amazing experience with Evan and his team. I purchased a 2001 Silverado 2500HD Duramax at a great price. It did come with high mileage but Evan was patient with me as I looked it over for the better part of an hour.He put it on a lift for me, I drove it, he answered questions, we found a couple small issues he fixed on the spot, typical of a high mileage vehicle. There was another issue that poked it's head as I was buying it but it was hard to say, at the time, if it was going to be a problem or not, however he told me to keep an eye on it and if it remained that he would take care of me. That too was an understatement. Unfortunately after a couple weeks the issue remained but Evan stood by his word.I didn't take it to someone else to get an opinion and then proceed to talk bad about his business, I'm 2 hours away and it was also only weeks after I purchased it, not months and he was already aware of the issue before I ever left. Risk has to be assumed on the part of the consumer when purchasing a high mileage vehicle. To have an issue months after purchasing something and try to fault the business is kind of ridiculous to me. I mention this because of a previous review that I feel is not justified, even before I ever spoke to anyone at Shuster Diesel Sales.I put it to the test afterwards hauling a 20ft cargo trailer loaded through the mountains moving my wife from SC to MO. The truck performed flawlessly, I couldn't be more happy with the truck.I whole heartedly believe in Evan and his business and would recommend anyone to him that is looking for a truck to buy or that needs any work done to their truck. Evan and his team are good people and a great business, you won't be disappointed.

I don t normally write reviews but had to this time. I have A 2002 F350 with almost 300000 miles on it that wouldn t start if it was below 50 degrees outside. I had already done all the normal cold start problem parts myself, glow plugs, wiring harness, relays, checked all the wiring ect. Fed up I took it to the ford dealer and another diesel tech who also couldn t figure it out. A customer recommended I run it by SC Diesel, so I called them and liked there was an actual knowledgeable guy on the other end of the phone, who was pretty sure it needed injectors, but said they would diagnose it for 1 hr labor to make sure. Dropped it off and they called the next day and said it needs injectors for sure, I also had them add some new exhaust parts and get it ready for a pyrometer. When I picked it up, not only was the bill less than expected, it runs better than my 17!Service: Engine repair

Hmmm.. My husband and I spotted them off hwy 70. Pulled into the parking lot, but when I called the guy who picked up stated they do not do ANY repairs?

Backed up their work. I ve had two oil coolers go out in the past year, and they actually replaced the second one without any hassle. They will even give you advice on the traumatic ownership of your 6.4L. 10/10!

They sold me a truck on November the 7th didn't even get home before it broke down on me they fixed it the first time free and now 3 months later it's broken down again, took my truck to a different diesel mechanic and they said that the truck has so much wrong with it they were surprised that it ran as long as it did I contacted SC Diesel to to try and get my money back because they sold me a piece of junk I have sunk 1k in parts to fix it only to find out that the motor is no good now I have to pull it and rebuild it myself because they won't accept that they knew that is had a bad motor in it and give me my money back. Now I'm stuck with a piece of junk that won't run. Do not buy trucks from SC Diesel they say that there trucks are good and sound when they actually mean that it's a piece of junk. Will never do business with them again. July 31 2019 I have now put $7.700 into this saposed machcanily sound truck the sold me. According to the shop who fixed my truck SC Diesel sold me a truck with 2 cracked heads, a blown head gasket, bad cam sensor, bad crank sensor, 2 bad batteries, a weak HPOP, and they could not even put in a new left pump without messing that up to because the seal was bad and leaking diesel fuel out of the tank, and the A/C compressor also never worked on the truck. Even you owe me $7.700 of what I paid you back!!!. And on another note Even is a lier and does not standard behind his work. You want someone who will go to Garbers Diesel they know what there doing unlike SC Diesel who apparently can't even hire a good Diesel engine tech.

I took my 6.0 powerstroke there to be bulletproofed. While there I had Evens do injectors, a regulated fuel return system and several other sensors and HPOP. Haven't had one problem. Will be taking my other powerstroke to him for head studds and bulletproofing

WARNING WARNINGSTAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!!!They misrepresent their business.My receipt shows a remanufactured transmission was installed $3500.It was a junkyard transmission lasting 10,000 miles.

diagnosing was free until I mentioned that the guy an hour away to beat him by 300-400 maybe even 500.he wouldn't budge put my truck back together so I can "drive" it to the next guy when I got their truck wouldnt start batteries were dead had to haul it took it to the next guy and they said that things had not been hooked back up that's why it would not start but yet my batteries were dead because they cranked on it for hours because they couldn't figure that out their selves.
