I recently took my RV to Gaps Automotive, and I was impressed by their quick and exceptional service. They went above and beyond to pinpoint necessary repairs and offered solutions at a fair price. Also, I appreciate Derrick who went above and beyond to make some minor cosmetic fixes for my RV.

You would think something as simple as a smart start calibration would be easy to deal with. Not at GAPS!! They messed up the mileage, monthly payment, didn t even get it calibrated, and sent me on my way. I would never recommend this place.

I have used Gaps (Boonville) for many years now, and they never stop surprising me with my experiences. The crew always goes the extra mile and I have never, not once felt taken advantage of. As far as trust goes they are top notch.

The team at GAPS Automotive Repair in Boonville are absolute lifesavers! Especially Paula and Gus (and Austin too)!I am a small, young woman who was traveling alone from Topeka, KS to Bonne Terre, MO for a dog training competition with my two German Shepherds. Both of my back tires blew out and I was stranded at the Love's Truck Stop down the road. Getting towed and sitting somewhere for days waiting to have this taken care of wasn't an option due to my two enormous dogs riding with me.Not only did they squeeze me in right away, Paula herself left to go pick up the exact tires I needed from another location because they didn't have them in stock. They had me and the dogs back on the road within just a few hours and we were able to get to our competition and complete what we ventured out here to do!I can't thank them enough and would totally be giving them all of my business if I didn't live 100+ miles away, so this little review is the least I could do.Please support them! They are hard working, kind, caring people and those qualities are becoming a lot more rare these days in every industry.Service: Auto tire replacement

They rented me a storage unit. Never had any issues their. The ppl (I would assume their the owners) are very nice and helpful. They fixed my son's father's car quickly and the price was fair.

This was an awful experience. First of all they charge more than anywhere else and they told me I needed parts that I then went to somewhere else which told me they were lying all they did was look at at it and charged me $100 because they looked at it which is less than the alignment itself so I m not quite sure how they manage that as well as the staff being absolutely rude this business is a total money grab scam wouldn t recommend my worst enemy go hereService: Wheel alignment

No long wait to get in. And the cost was definitely reasonable.

Was passing through on a road trip. We are developed a slow leak in one of our tires. We pulled up asking if they would be able to help and they dropped everything and helped us out! Thanks to guess and his crew for taking care of us so quickly and so well. And very affordable. Thank you!

We were stranded in Booneville when our car wouldn t start during a cross country road trip (picture 2 dogs, 6 months pregnant with a car full of stuff in the cold rain). Gaps offered to fit us in an hour before close and they were able to look at our car, fix the battery issue all with above and beyond friendly service and with a smile. Luckily it was an easy fix but they turned our stressful hiccup into a sigh of relief. Very friendly and attentive. Thank you guys for saving the day :)

We were extremely satisfied with the service that we received from Gap Auto and tires. We had a very unusual tire size and Doug and Becky were able to finally track one down and get us on our way at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

I have now taken my vehicle here twice. I have to say these folks know customer service. I came in and needed a component for my heat to work. It was going to take several hours and the awesome lady at the desk, Becky, gave me a ride home and even picked me up when my truck was done. Doug you did an awesome job fixing my truck. As someone new to Boonville at first I was skeptical about taking my truck to a new shop, but these folks treat everyone like family and make sure you and your vehicle are treated right.

Our rig broke down on a cross country move. We moved our truck to gaps after hours and we're waiting for them to open in the morning. They diagnosed our problem right away, which helped lower our stress levels and we're able to work on the car right away. They let us bring our cat into the office (we kept him caged of course) while we waited after checking out of the hotel. The prices were on point and everything felt very honest. We had good conversation with the staff while we waited. We feel very lucky that we found these guys.

Should be negative stars. I had heard good things about this shop and had sent people there- not anymore. Went in let them know I wanted a quote, told them what was wrong with it, so they set up a time date for me to bring it in- to get a quote....or so I thought. Most of the day goes by and get a call with quote of 890$, I proceeded to tell them no- I'll be by to pick it up later. Before even going to pick it up I stopped at Orielys and bought needed parts for $563.14 So I proceed to go into pick up my truck and get told I owe them $92.40. I thought she was kidding and asked for what and she said for looking at it. I'd like to know what they looked at? I told them the spring was broke which one it was. All they needed to do was pull the Vin info and get the part number to order. The receptionist even said no one told you we would charge for looking at it, she was the only one I spoke to the entire time lol.

I went in for a $89 alignment and was told I needed to have something else fixed for about $800, before the alignment could be worked on so I told them no not to worry about, when I came back 20 min later I get charged for $100 to have my truck looked at. AWFUL Service, literally crooks. To have my aligntment "checked" shouldn't cost more the the alignment itself.Service: Wheel alignment

I was traveling from Colorado to Indiana when my car broke down in Missouri. My car was towed to Gaps. Everyone there was so friendly. They were able to look at my car right away. It had major problems that would take a few days. Gus and Paula went above and beyond out of their way to help me find a rental car. I highly recommend this place. The work was excellent. Thanks you guys!

Gaps has been nothing but amazing to me. They have flexible payment plans for people to partake in and that's great to have that option. They were great with making sure my car was fixed correctly and didn't try and get over on me like some other places have in town. They call and go over what's wrong and don't do any work without YOUR permission. Will recommend anyone to go talk to Tammy and the guys out there. They are also pretty good at getting you in the same day so that's always a plus. Also, Tammy is great and super helpful.

I want to share with you my experience with Gaps Automotive. I was on a business trip, driving 450 miles for a mandatory meeting. My Nissan truck began making terrible and frightening noises. I tried finding other mechanic groups to locate and repair the problem. I was flatly told that I would be charged a fee, but workmanship would not be guaranteed. When I limped into Booneville I was very concerned at it was already 3:00pm. I was told the best place to get help was at Gaps Automotive.I felt like I barely made it there, driving 20mph with the hazards on. I was greeted and after a quick phone call, Gaps immediately took on the task of identifying the problem. The passenger side front wheel bearings were nearly gone. It was nothing shy of a miracle that the wheel held on. Gaps had the part in-stock, which was a huge relief. My repair was completed within two hours. I was back on the road and made my appointment for a large sale.Gaps Automotive was a lifesaver, and more importantly cared about my need. I am thankful for the honesty and customer care I received.

I know it's been a long time since, but I just had to leave a review. 11 years ago, I was travelling to visit family before I deployed to Iraq, when my car broke down, and my wife, children, and I were stranded in your town. This was in the middle of the night, to make things worse.Local Sheriff contacted you in the middle of the night, and you came to our rescue. You even have me a sweet deal on the price. We were back on the road by morning. You were a true hero. My wife and I still talk to our kids, one now grown up, about your selfless actions that night. Thank you for being an outstanding human being.

Have went there a couple of times. The last time I had a window issue they had to replace regulator parts. First I couldnt buy my own parts, i had to buy theres at mark up, and then when I told them I wanted my old part, as it supposedly wasnt compatible with the rest of the window, she said fine she would have it ready when I got there. When I got there they took my Discover card as payment and then only after it went through she told me that they threw out my part. A perfectly good part I might have used later!! Yeah right, I will never go there again unless forced they are Liars, Beware!.

I had a tire inflated at this shop. It took them over 30 minutes to add air to the tire. When I got in the car the tire they inflated had over 40 lbs of pressure and the other side had 32. This is a safety issue and I would not recommend this shop to anyone. It was not like this car was a junker, it was a 2016 BMW which has air sensors built to alert the driver when the tire pressure if not balanced.

I had all new brakes and one rotar fixed on the car, two days later going down the road it sounded like I had a flat tire so I got out and looked at it and saw the whole brake coming off of it because they forgot to screw on the main bolts. I had it towed back to Gaps in Boonville, MO and it took all day for them to fix there screw up.

This is the second time in about 4 years I have had Gus at Gaps work on my old boat motor. He is the "BEST". He fixed me up in quick order, didn't over charge me, and as before, told me the problem, showed me the old broken parts, and took the time to explain the issue. My old out board is to the age where some places won't even look at it, but Gus never has turned me away, and I really appreciate that, since my old 50 hp Mercury is a 1970 model. Now, I'm ready to hit the water again and that old Merc is up and running like new.I'm telling you, if you have an older boat motor with a problem, don't hesitate, just take it to Gaps, and let Gus fix you up, cause he's the MAN!Thanks Gus!

I needed a professional opinion about the faulty work of another shop, and was accommodated quickly at GAPS. I got my vehicle in and looked at, and the issues properly diagnosed that time around, thanks to Becky and her team!

They're closed on Saturday, but by chance, I pulled in and they waved me in. They checked my tire (a goner) and air up my donut, didn't charge a thing. Great guys!

Amazing service. We got a flat while traveling through and the gentleman was awesome and repaired it first thing. The receptionist was very sweet as well.
