The mechanic was incredibly rude when talking about other customers. He said, and I quote, "They ought to be F'n grateful we work on their vehicles at all." When referring to another customer who was disappointed that they were unable to have their oil changed at that time and had to reschedule. I overhead him and observed his resentful attitude towards those who finance his employment. I then decided to rescue my truck and take it elsewhere before he got his hands on it and tore it up. Walmart obviously needs to screen their mechanics a little better.

I pulled up today to get my oil changed and they said it would be ready in 2 hours, 2hours later I'm back with a cart full of cold groceries, and they don't even have it in the shop yet, so I ask when It will be done, they then tell me it will be the last car to be worked on and they don't know when it will be worked on, because they had appointments. They should not have told me they could do it when they could not and make me wait an hour cause I was done shopping after just one.

I never leave reviews. Ever. I wouldn t hit 1 star unless I really really find it to be bad service. I had to get something fixed the day after an oil change from Walmart. It was a separate problem and wasn t related. But the mechanics found dark old oil, and a STRIPPED and leaking oil plug. I had to get it fixed and replaced... Walmart management said it was a normal thing to evac for an oil change but it left tons of old oil and I paid $35 for the change. I had to pay an additional $45 to get it right and $100 for the fix Walmart caused. The auto shop also worked on my car a month prior to the oil change and said we specifically check that and there wasn t any blue writing no no stripped plug either. I won t be doing business here EVER again. College kids beware use what little money you have on better quality service.

Needed to get tires. Went to Walmart at 5:30 pm and was told that they only had one mechanic and since I did not have an appointment I was out of luck!

They didn't put enough oil in my car after my last oil change and now my engine is seized up and ruined. No leaks were found, no other issues to lead to oil burn off, yet the engine was over 2 quarts low and I had it changed at walmart no long before. Ive spent quite a bit of money trying to get it repaired to be told I need a new engine. All the reviews you see for walmart doing this same thing (not putting oil in, not putting enough) are real. I'm sure it's a ploy to make money by charging full price but not giving the full amount. They also know that there's no way to prove it and so they will continue to do it. I HIGHLY recommend going somewhere else, ANYWHERE else to get your oil changed!Service: Oil change

When we arrived they told us it would be an hour and a half for an oil change. They were done in less than an hour. They did a rush job and hopefully did not mess anything up. I paid for the basic oil change ($32.88) Next to transmission fluid it says not applicable. The dude said that he couldn't find the dipstick for it. Funny because I know where it's at. Next to battery check, it says declined. They didn't even ask me if I wanted them to check my battery. Don't get me wrong I was happy that they got it done in less time, it's just that I was watching the guy and he kept looking at a book like he didn't know what he was doing. We have had good luck with them in the past so hopefully this was just a one-time thing.

I bought two new tires off of their website. The store tried to charge me a second time for the tires. When I got it figured out and got to my car the old tires that I told them I wanted to keep, were not in my vehicle like I had asked several times.

Sat 15 minutes waiting to be waited on. Only to finally have Madison finally come out and help the people who had just got the even tho I had been waiting over 15 minutes. She acted like I was ruining her day by needing her to actually come outside and take my vehicle information. Excuse me? Isn't this your JOB?NEVER had an employee in this department act so lazy and rude in all the years I've been using their services.Everyone else was great and the services on my vehicle were done well as usual. 5 stars for everyone but Madison, she gets 0.Service: Oil change

I've had an oil change and tire changes here. The technicians are quick and professional, and I've had no problems with their service. It's especially useful when I have groceries to buy~~we're able to knock out two errands at once without a long wait.

Competitive pricing but beware, they installed the wrong size tires! After returning and pointing out the error it was corrected but not even appology for wasting my time. Be sure you double check the work done to your vehicle, I can't imagine I am the first one they messed up on.

Considering it s a Walmart automotive center, you can conclude that it s probably not the best service or quality. I don t write reviews because I usually don t care enough to leave one, but this is truly one of the worst places you could go to get your car fixed. Save your money for people who actually know what they re doing and DON T waste your time. You ll thank me later.

Had to get there about an hour early for a good spot in line but that isn't Walmart's problem. Got taken care of in a fairly speedy time. They do a good job.

Everything on the north side of Springfield is locked up and no employees have keys. Also has less products then the rest of the wal marts

Now this Wal-Mart has in my opinion the best tire shop. They really take good care of your car. They go that little extra to make sure your happy with they're work

They are great at what they do. Have had my oil changed and tires done here multiple times. They always discuss everything with you and answer all questions.

Took my car here for a tire repair they dented my fender and will not own up to the damage it s soo bad my door doesn t open. So please watch your car when it goes in!

Had a screw in my tire.....The employees where super helpful and the desk lady had a great attitude. All we can ask for.

This was the worst experience I've ever had not only did we wait and wait when we finally had enough seeing our car hadn't even been pulled in and customers telling is they have had over an hour an half wait ,after being the first customer they had .We got our car and as we we're driving down the road our hood came flying up due to what I'm guessing is the lady not closing it , telling us that new policy they have to check battery , probably would be a good idea to have shut the hood.It could have caused a very bad accident or damage to my vehicle .I think Walmart should make it a effort to train employees better.I promise I will never go there again and hope no one I know does either .I must say disappointed is to say the least .

I went in yesterday to get two tires on the front bc i had a blow out the day before...i told them from the get go...i need the spare taken off put in the trunk ...the tire in the trunk which is a loaner ...i need the wheel taken off of that one and it put back in the trunk..and 2 new tires on the front..the guy that was checking me in...he gave me absolutely none of his attention...so i go inside..knowing he wasn't listening so i had no faith that they did it right...but they finished...i went to my car...and in my foolishness i went ahead and drove off...got to my destination...decided to look in my trunk...and nope...the tire i said i needed back was not there...so since it was a loaner i went back to Walmart...i said remember i told u i needed to keep that tire...the guy is like oh yeah...asks the other guys about it...they are looking for it...one guy asked well did u pay for it...i am like what part of loaner do u not understand...i said no i need to take it back...well this is it...i said are u sure...he said yeah...so what does he do...plops it right on the ground in front of me...doesn't offer to take it to my car or anything...unbelievable how they treat customers there...

Was in there I believe close to an hour and a half and all they had to do was put 2 tires on rims. Didn't even have to take them off the car.

I needed to buy a tire $55 by the time I got done having to pay for that tire it would be over $80. I declined buying the tire. It is ridiculous having to pay for balance ect. For amount of the tire..
