Took my vehicle to get a diagnostic done, had every gear. Got it back after three days and didn't have first and second gear. Also, the mechanic said he switched the plug wires around and left them. Every sense then haven't been able to drive the vehicle. Never even told me an issue besides bad transmission. Said it would take 4 hours. Turned out, days later.

If you need a truthful dio on your truck or car, Tony is the most respected mechanic in town. My family has also bought several cars from them, one I was still driving after 10 years. You won't be disappointed with their service.

We were on our way to Arkansas recently (halfway there) when our Honda CRV started cutting out & the check engine light came on. We were 20 miles from Bolivar so we just picked the first garage to come up on Google to call. They were so great to get us in right away. Put it on the analyzer & test drove it for a long time but nothing came up & it drove fine! Sheesh!! The charge for them looking at it was extremely reasonable. I wouldn't have been upset if it had more. Very nice, helpful people and above all, more than honest!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Spent 3300 on repairs and labor for the car to break down again a week later trying to drive it home due to there negligence. Paper work stated brand new oil change. Among a new timing change kit and powersterring pump and head gasket replacement. Old oil was still in my vehicle. On top of them not repairing my vehicle properly and professionally.

This place will screw u without the Vaseline. Took my car in for a ball joint repair, the lady at the front desk told me it $90 to inspect and if need repaired another 120$ for parts and labor. A day later I get a call and was told all ball joints and swaybar and struts needed replaced and that would be around 500$ so I thought what the hell. So instead of asking me first they put new ones in without showing me the others were bad then to top it off my bill went up to 876.43$ she advised the mechanic doing the repair stated it took him 4 hours to get the old ball joints off. They did work without showing me my bad parts and overcharged me. This place is a scam I would not recommend them to change someones oil. Please check your work ifu need something done you will be paying for stuff u don't need. I've already filed complaint with the B.B.B. I hope they feel good I'm a single mother who had to get advances from my boss to get my car. I even told the lady I could not afford that and she could have discussed it with me before repair but I don't feel my other parts were bad. I just had it inspected at Walmart a week ago. Please don't trust these people.

Was a few hundred miles from home when a red triangular warning sensor went off. Went to a few places in Bolivar that weren't able to diagnose the problem, who then sent me there. Advanced Automotive diagnosed it, explained that it was just the oil change alert, which is fine since I use synthetic. They reset it and charged nothing. Thank you for all the service! As an aside, I use synthetic and know the indicator, the issue was that I had been on a long driving trip. The Toyota Camry has a really specific series of steps you have to go to in order to remove the oil change maintenance light, and I have the procedure with all the steps written down at home. The light when on early in the trip, and I had driven over 500 miles on the trip before the red warning light went on. Usually, I address that the oil change warning sensor quickly when at home, so I never get a red warning light from it. Since I was on the road for several hundred miles after the indicator, I guess the computer thought the situation had become more dire (understandable if not synthetic oil is used, you don't want to go tons of miles on oil that isn't designed for it) and then later resorted to a red warning light. I do wish that Toyota Camry would make it more easy to manually override their warning lights at times. Since I did not have the specific procedure with me, I didn't address it sooner... so it all makes sense now, in hindsight. Regardless, I do appreciate all their excellent and timely service, and the fact that they wouldn't even accept any money really won me over. Accurate, and what a class act. THANK YOU!!! -Pete K

This business is amazing - we broke down while traveling home from vacation and they got us in immediately and was very reasonable with their charges - I would go out of my way to go there

Was going to have them repair 2 of the windows in my Kia that I was going to sell. My brother in Louisiana ended up buying it for his daughter because her car lost the engine. She needed a car asap. He is a mechanic and said he would fix the windows. My niece flew up to get the vehicle 3 days later, but one of the motors wasn't in yet. I was leaving for a couple of weeks, so the receptionist said they would mail the motor to my brother when it came in. I offered to pay for shipping, but she said they would take care of it. She was so nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this business!

I had a wheel bearing issue. They did a fantastic job getting my Silverado in and repairing the issue. Advanced Automotive had a very busy schedule but worked me in. This is the second time we took our grandson's car here for repairs. We were very pleased with the first repairs. We chose this company because they talk about family values and offer a 10% discount to students at the local college. After this second repair they forgot to apply the discount. We've repeatedly attempted to contact Jennifer (one of the owners?) to correct the bill. It's been a week and no reply. Lynsey - the one who answers the phone - has been unhelpful and borderline rude. UPDATE: Jennifer called and is issuing a credit. Since we live in Texas and our grandson is at USB so far away we need to rely on people we can trust to help take care of him. They guarantee their work. As in, they guarantee you ll be back. Did a head gasket rebuild here about a year ago. Engine blew last month so I took it to a new shop that I trust to do a full year down and rebuild. I was told the rocker arms were installed backwards, and they did not align with the valve. They forgot two bolts that hold the oilers for the rockers, and the timing belt they installed was off slightly and started shredding itself within two days. I would have taken it back for their guarantee but with all the untrustworthy back and forth they gave me I d rather just never ever go near them again.

Just moved to Missouri from Arizona. Had no clue who I could trust with my vehicle. A close friend referred me to Advanced Automotive. I couldn't be happier with there staff, service, and professionalism. Communication was wonderful. Cost for repairs was fair and they even fixed a few things at no charge. I highly recommend them...

This place is an absolute joke. Brought my truck in to have a tire patched. They found the hole, PLUGGED it then charged me $15 dollars. I had a plug kit in the truck and could have plugged it myself. I needed it PATCHED. Plugs are temporary fixes for tires and the lady behind the desk should probably inform her "ASE certified" mechanics of this tiny bit of information. Drove from Advanced Automotive to another tire shop to have this situation fixed correctly. Won't ever be stepping foot on their property again!

They went above and beyond to help me out. I was actually out of town and headed back home when I had car trouble. They got me right in.. unfortunately they could not fix it that day since it was so late and needed to get parts. When I picked it up it was over $100 cheaper than what they quoted me. Wish they were closer to home they would definitely be my family's shop. Amazing people and fantastic customer service!

Heater core was leaking in my truck. You have to take the dash out to get to it. I called places around Springfield and found prices from 750 to 1000 dollars. A friend at work recommend Advanced. They said 700 at most. They did a great job. Final price 658 which includes a break lite switch problem they took care of.

On our way to Branson we broke down right outside of Bolivar. Advance Automotive was able to get us right in and fix our vehicle in very little time. They saved our family vacation and were excellent to work with. Thank you so much for the awesome service. Highly recommend to everyone.

I absolutely love taking my Jeep Wrangler here .. super nice people there and everything is always fixed right .. Trust them to know what they are talking about. I have taken my Jeep there two diff times and I will continue to go there for not only my Jeep but our other vehicles . Thanks for the amazing service and quality of service really appreciate it a lot

This place has great and experienced workers. They know what to look for when fixing your ride. They give you a courtesy inspection that will tell you what needs fixed ASAP. They do their job well and on time. I called on Thursday and got a quote to put some struts on, which I already had, they said it would cost $60-$70.I felt that was reasonable. I didn't get a quote to have them throw tires on, that I also already had. First they came in and told me they didn't know why I was changing struts but I needed new ball joints, which I didn't need because I already had an inspection and had replaced everything except the struts that had broken springs. They then charged $15 a tire to put them on. So for something that should have cost $120-$130 cost me almost $200.

Broke down near Bolivar and had my car towed there. It was a Sunday but Tony happened to be at the shop, he allowed me to have the car towed there that night and they got it in quickly and fixed quickly the next day so I could be on my home! Great service and very nice people!

This shop is my Go-To for alllll auto repairs. They've kept a variety of my vehicles going through the years, my Corolla, Tahoe, and Hyundais. Not once have they Ever taken advantage of my "Not Knowing What's Wrong"; instead, they have found The Cause, fixed it, and not added on repairs I wouldn't have known better for. I appreciate their Knowledge, Capability, and Honesty.

This is a family owned business. They were fast and thorough. The owners are honest and reasonably priced. We were traveling through the state and had car trouble. We stopped on a Saturday afternoon - they checked the problem and fixed it quickly. We are extremely happy with the service! They have a nice waiting area and are very friendly!

Friendly, fast service and knowledgeable on repairs. They are creative and are willing to do what ever needs to be done to get you back on the road safe and sound. If we have anymore problems we will be using them for sure. Wish we could give them more then 5 stars!!!

We've been a customer of theirs for a few years now and I'm really pleased with the service. I definitely feel like they're fair and I've never felt "ripped off' which is hard issue to deal with when it comes to auto mechanics. I would definitely recommend them.

I was in Bolivar visiting family and my exhaust pipe came loose. I called first thing the next morning and they got my vehicle in and fixed within a hour!! They price of the repair was very reasonable.
