Bevier campground was amazing! It was quite and very peaceful with amazing views of the lake. My family and I had a wonderful time, and we will be back. Sadly, it got really cold the weekend we were there, so my kids didn't get to try out the big 120' slip and slide. However, we got to go fishing instead. I highly recommend this campground. They also have some very nice campers for sale as well.

Sites are way out of level. Sewer hookups are not screw in and don t drain very quick so there s a back up in the line before it can catch up. The laundry and bathrooms were all locked so I couldn t check them. Will never go back

Stayed overnight in an RV. Nice place and nice staff. There is one angry review here that is nonsense. Must be from a competitor, disgruntled employee or mega-Karen.

Horrible customer service from the service manager. Not a family friendly campground, lots of drinking and drug use on camp sites. The main person in charge, Chris is rude and incompetent. Service manager Ron, doesn't complete jobs on time and is rude.

Quiet and clean. We didn't participate in any extra activities so can't speak to that, but we did have some very quiet neighbors. There was a cemetery right behind us. Hahaha. I think we were assigned that spot because we were just passing through. Very inexpensive.

Again another small place that exemplifies hospitality, we had to call after hours for reservations but no problem! 50amp service, water, septic, no problem, drive through lots with cement patio, picnic table nice touch! Clean restroom and showers, friendly people this is great place!!! Co-located with RV sales so keep eye out for entry to office. Overnight cost with good Sams only $25.50

Stopped for the night in our motorhome on our way to Chicago. Very clean, well kept rv park. Plenty of trees & wide sites with full hook ups. Play area for those traveling with children. Very reasonably priced! Highly recommend this rv park. We will definitely stay here again!

Great location for a rev center. They can get you ready for winter and they can get you ready for summer. They can get you right into a new camper ASAP. Busy campground with several activities. 4th of July is a great time to camp. Located right next to 36 highway easy to find on google

Came in with a broken key to my hood, they worked in my budget and did a great job rigging up some latches for me quickly so I could get back on the road.

We loved staying here! Great amenities, and friendly staff. Lots of fun stuff for the kiddos without having to drive off property. We had no issues and will definitely stay again if work brings us back this way!

They claim to do a full run through to make sure everything is good, they don't. Our propane lines leaked like crazy, you couldn't miss it. Also the furnace doesn't work. I guess their walk through misses critical things like the propane and furnace.

I only visited the service department to have them check out my RV furnace. I wasn't sure if it was failed or full of pest nests (older camper). I had the furnace already pulled out of the camper, so they were able to check it for functionality and clean it up so I could get heat in my camper. They were able to turn it around during the busiest part of the year. Fortunate for me, they were able to get my furnace going for little effort.

I went and looked at campers in April. I wasn t able to find what I was looking for in stock. However, Jay showed me a floor plan of one that was scheduled to be delivered May 13th. I was very interested in the one he showed me. I have called for a month and a half asking if it s in stock and have been told each time it wasn t. I looked online at their website today, the camper shows in stock. I called and talked to Shelly, she said, yeah it s here after she told my husband this morning that the one we were waiting on wasn t there.I called Shelly to be sure the one I was looking at online wasn t there. It is there and no one has called like they said they would. Shelly told me that they lost our file. (Wonder where in the world our personal information has landed)Shelly offered me $15,000 less for my camper than what Jay did at the end of April. The camper they have that we were looking at has gone up $10,000 and what they offered us has gone down $15,000. I asked for Jay to call me back so we could discuss where our conversation had left off in April. Jay said that he threw the sticky note away with our phone number on it a long time ago and it doesn t matter what we discussed before. I don t think this guy is in the business to make sales.I have never been treated with such terrible customer service in my life. I would never buy a camper from people that lie about returning phone calls, loose personal paperwork and lower the value of your camper by $15,000 in a month and a half. PLEASE BEWARE when giving them your personal information, they will loose it. Please beware that what they tell you can change quickly by tens of thousands of dollars.

The campground was clean and quiet (some highway noise)and the other campers were friendly. Our campsite was very level, green spaces were freshly mowed. The swimming area was nice and very popular; we saw a young person catching fish around dusk. There are several small playground areas. Good place to bring your kids or grandkids!

We recently purchased our first camper from Shoemakers. It was a pleasant experience without any pressure or hidden costs. The deal includes two days of free camping with assistance in setting up and hooking up for departure. We are in our 60's and have never camped so we had plenty of questions. Jay and Greg were short handed and very busy but nevertheless were patient and answered all our concerns. Thanks for a pleasant buying experience.

We really enjoyed our stay.. very nice people who will go out of theie way for you. I loved the old cemetery next door. Very quiet. Much better than an interstate. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the Internet would not connect most of the night. Would definitely stay here again.

Don't buy a used RV from them. Touted a "40 point inspection" upon delivery the trailer brakes don't work, furnace will not light as it should, walls in bunk room rotten, floor in slide out (that they adjusted) rotten, more than half the windows leaking into the walls, caps on all roof vents completely missing, holding tank valves leaking, toilet not properly mounted. I trusted that they inspected and repaired important thing but apparently those are not part of the 40 points.

When we were making reservations, we were told that most of the sites were filled with a van club. What we were not told was that an extremely loud band would begin at 9 pm only to be overpowered by the whoops and shouts of the drunken crowd for the next several hours. The park should have told us they were not open to the public which would have been fine. We had been traveling since 6:30 a.m. an simply wanted a place to rest for the night. We would have found another park.

My family and I absolutely love coming here, and would highly recommend this campground to anybody that s looking for a family friendly place to stay. The campsites are very spacious and always clean, the staff is always friendly and willing to help, and most importantly it s a safe place that I feel comfortable bringing my girls. The Slip n Slide is an absolute blast, and something my kiddos look forward to every time.

Seemed like an ordinary park next to the hwy at first, we were parked right behind the building. The next morning we took a walk, the place was huge, 3 maybe 4 play areas for kids, a lake, giant slip n slide thing, what I wouldn t have given for that in my younger years. A bandstand, covered shelters, an obstacle course thing made of wood, built up off the ground. There was something set up that reminded me of axe throwing, this place has a lot going for it. The grass was all trimmed, very well taken care of, really surprised me how big it was, if we hadn t taken that walk we wouldn t have known about all they have to offer. Yes, the top section is near a cemetery, the hwy is not as close as some we ve been to. No I m not paid to do this, I just think many more people need to leave ratings for others.PA $14 stayed on June 3

These folks did everything possible to walk us through our big purchase. Not pushy at all and very helpful addressing any issue we had. We purchased a artic wolf that had some "from dealer issues" that needed to be fixed. Shoemaker's nailed it and had everything looking like it just came off the showroom floor.

I have purchased 2 campers from Shoemakers and their customer service has been phenomenal! They have gone above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Because of the way we have been treated from the desk clerk, to the salesmen and the mechanics in the back they have gained a loyal customer. If you are in the market for a new camper, I highly suggest stopping by ShoeMaker RV!!
