The most honest, nicest, reasonably priced auto shops I have found. Take all our vehicles there. Highly recommend!!! My wife and daughter love this place (as much as they could love an auto shop).

My car had been making an awful lotta racket for about two months and it was because my muffler became detached from my exhaust. I put off getting it fixed for so long because of a tight budget, but this didn't break the bank at all! Bill invited me back into the shop so I could see what was wrong and gave me options on what he could do to repair it. I was there for less than an hour, everyone was very pleasant, and Jim's Discount Mufflers will now have a loyal customer! Thanks to them, I don't have to be the loud jerk driving around! (:

I have been going to Jim's muffler for a very long time.Prices are decent and mechanics are friendly. Love it even more now that they have female mechanic. She is very good.

Talk with a gentleman there. He hasn't done any work for me yet. But unbelievably honest and clear in his explanations. Someone who's been doing this for a long time and has the patients to talk to someone Who doesn't quite understand and is willing to give you multiple options.A true quality technician and credit to his craft.

I have dealt with these guys a few times they've always been fair and honest with me. They're very easy to work with and have never tried to push any additional services on me at all. I've had a few special requests to do with parts and things like that and they've never given me any hassles with any of it nice people easy to work with.

I was having an issue with the air conditioner in my car where air wasn't blowing out of the vents, and of course this happens right before KC hits triple digit temperatures, Brandy got me scheduled in and they had me In and out in 2 hours time. Very reasonably priced, professional, friendly, air now works great...will recommend to anyone!

Our 2010 Subaru Forester had a minor exhaust leak that needed to be repaired before becoming a real problem. I asked a friend, Doug Kershaw, for a recommendation. He recommended Jim's Discount Mufflers. Glad he gave us this recommendation. After examining the vehicle, they were able to repair it quickly at a very reasonable expense (completed in one visit). They Were Very nice and very patient in explaining What repairs needed to be made and why. as well as breaking down the cost estimate for the repairs needed in order to get my inspection slip to renew my Tags. I appreciate their transparency and Kindness and would recommend them to everyone Especially to my female friends because they don't +reat you like you dont have brains. They're Very respectful and accommodating to both my mother and myself. Great People~ Great Shop

I was a happy customer until I was told my low-mileage F-150 needed ball joint replacement to pass inspection. I took it to an honest shop where I was told the BJs were fine, and the truck passed without issue. My Honda was making a very weird noise on the highway so I pulled over in Belton and just chose a repair place at random. So lucky I pulled into Jim s! They were 20 minutes from closing and took some time to listen to my car and figure out the problem real quick. I was worried I wouldn t be able to drive it home but it ended being a small (but loud) problem. The owner s wife was so sweet and she could tell I was upset. She reassured me it was safe to drive, got me an appointment, and I was on my way! So appreciative of the time they took out of their busy day, and so close to closing too! When it comes to muffler repair there is nowhere else I'll ever take my vehicles. Honest and friendly service, great quality work and for a fair price. I would highly recommend Jim's to anyone needing some work done!

Been working on my truck for the past year and very good at price range for the work I had done. Does not charge a arm or a leg for repairs or labor. Friendly people and make you feel welcome, treat you as a they do their family.

Great people. Have always had repairs done on time and on price. They are more than fair when it comes to pricing. I trust what they say is wrong with the car and I know they will fix it right the first time. I have recommended them to many friends.

Terrible work. Claimed to fix my brakes and sent me and my children down the road with no brakes. When we came back they griped that our vehicle was old, (It's a 2000) and said they would not refund my money and would need another $250 dollars to try again. He got very hostile and said he didn't work for free. My new mechanic fixed it and said the parts Jim's claimed to replace were not replaced and the leak was easy to find and fix. Van runs great now. Go to Jacks just down the road.

Went here to get the starting cylinder replaced and instead of needing to carry around keys for the starter and the outside locks, they took the time to rekey the cylinder to the outside locks. Their service was above and beyond for me. However, I would avoid leaving my car here over the weekend or for an extended period of time. I had left items in my car that must have been visible from the road and over the weekend, a rear window was smashed. Jim's was very cooperative and upfront about what happened - and they graciously replaced the glass for me. Good service, just pick your timing.

Worst service I've had there, used to be great now it sucks. Oil change, rear brakes and a tune up that's what I wanted did I get it , nope. Excuses that's what I got. Not only 5hat but we called made an appointment the day before it's not my fault your employees don't know how to schedule one of these but to argue that was a drop off come on. I know what happened you waited to the end of the day and did not have time for a tune up. Terrible service I could not believe I was in jims muffler the place used to be great what happened?

I had an appointment for 11am Monday March 4. I stopped in at 9am that morning and was quickly moved indoors . The mechanic notified me that it would be a simple flange cut off and weld on. 45.00 is the cost. Jim's Discount Muffler is a fantastic place to get Auto Repairs done at. Thanks goes out to the people at Jim's Discount Muffler.

I had the exhaust fall off of my car and needed it replaced, I called on a Monday and had to make an appointment for Wednesday because they were booked up.
