Bought private party car from owner. When got the car home it had some issues cranking over. I reached out to Conner and he was quick to respond and willing to help. Most people wouldn t have responded let alone to help fix the issue. I would go back for another car in future just because of the honesty and helpfulness to make things right!!

Sold me a car and not even two months later motor blew, when I called and told him he said he told me it would happen and he never actually said that then has kept the car for over a month putting a new motor in THAT I BOUGHT. And when I call to check up on the car whenever he said it ll be done he said I m harassing him for wandering about my car. after we have bought 10+ cars from him in the past 5 years. Lost at least 7 regular customers due to this. He will not tell you what s wrong until something happens after he gets his money. Be careful he is not loyal or honest.

DO NOT BUY here!!! We bought a Ford Explorer in March, due to pcs we were in a rush and overlooked a few red flags like that they had to jump start the cars before test drives, dont offer services on their sold cars and dont provide temporary plates.5 weeks later the engine lamp came on and bam 5000 Dollar Bill for Cat replacements, new suspensions and new brakes. Now 5 months later, the transmission needs to be replaced and other things, again 9000!!!!! Dollars repair cost. We lost so far 14.000 Dollar on a car that was worth nothing. And that is now a ticking time bomb. You got us once but never again! STAY AWAY!

Found a car on a Monday. My wife is disabled and had some problems through the week that kept us from getting to her bank until Thursday. I communicated everyday with Landon about the struggles and that we wanted the vehicle. I also told him when we had the funds in hand (Thursday) and he offered to deliver the vehicle to us on Friday. We even spoke to him on Friday and he said it would be after closing. We never heard from him until we called on Saturday morning at the start of business when he told my wife that he sold it and that he sent me a late text which I did not get. LIES, LIES, LIES. He had a chance to be a hero for my family in need and he chose to be a ZERO!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM LANDON AT L.A. AUTO. IM FROM L.A. and he should be ashamed of shaming the L.A. name. Period.

Bought a Kia from them that was overpriced and a lemon. It had a parasitic drain and they still sold the car anyway not to mention the interior was trashed and I m sure there was a head gasket problem because the smell and how much coolant it consumed. Spent 3,000 on it after I talked them down from 3,500 and had to put thousands in it right away. First I had to get a new battery cuz the one in the car was like a lawn mower battery with improper cranking power, however first week of driving alternator went out not much later the AC compressor goes. I was a 19 year old kid and a first time car buyer. Should have saw the red flags when they had to jump it cause it was sitting for too long yet it was sitting right next to the building as if it s been getting worked on. I would not trust this dealership or purchase from them.

Went Thursday night to buy a car with cash. Called before we left to drive an hour and he called as I was pulling in to tell me a previous customer had come and left and was going to the bank and would have money on Friday. He literally didn t have a deposit, knew I was coming and I was will to pay for a money order because he didn t take checks. Called today and said the buyer that was to be there and done Friday was bringing a CHECK today! So I was very angry Thursday night because he refused to sell me the car. So, not someone very ethical or smart business wise unless they only want the Bates City, Oak Grove and Grain Valley client, so I wouldn t shop here.

Bought a car for my daughter there. Helpful, friendly, no pressure sales experience. While working out the details Landon overheard my wife arguing with a tow company because my son slip off the road and was stuck in a ditch. Landon got in his truck and pulled my son out of the ditch.About a week later a sensor went bad in the car we bought. LA Auto replaced it at no charge. Best experience I ve had buying a car.

Someone in a pony tail came out, we were willing to test drive the car and buy it in cash right now, and he said no we have a customer that wants to come look at it tomorrow that is loyal as we had CASH IN HAND! insane. Also keep in mind we drove over an hour and he knew that.

Working with Landon (one of the owners) was easy and he made the transaction so seamless. At no point during the process did we feel pressured or uneasy. You can tell he takes pride in the business and taking care of people. I highly recommend this place for your used car purchase!!!

Salesman were real nice and slick but I will never buy a vehicle there again problems from the start and they only cover labor cost out the door for a month but since we have owned this vehicle 2 months had to replace coil packs and spark plugs there is a problem in the front end and they told me it didn't leak due to sunroof not working and it's been raining and literally water pours in from the sunroof all over the car both floor boards are soaked im very unhappy, also im sure this review will be taken down since it's negative also windshield wipers come on when car starts. I would be very leary of purchasing from this place.

I have been a local resident for over 25 years , Late this Fall, I was looking for a good used "driver" for a commuter car. I have been in Quality Control Management for the Auto Industry in the Kansas City area since 1995,.... I am NOT easy impressed ,... but with LA Auto, I am VERY impressed. The quality and condition of the cars are decidedly higher on the lot at LA Auto than in almost ALL other used car lots.....I know,... I spent MONTHS looking,... I ended up with a domestic sedan with an excellent service history and very high condition at a great price.Last week my son also purchased a car from Landon . GREAT people,..Honesty and Integrity are absolutely vital to me in business dealings,On-site mechanic, many years in the business, willingly discusses pros and cons of vehicle selection.Very proud to know them and so glad to have found a used car dealer that I can fully endorse.

To start Landon the owner of LA auto needs 5 more stars to express our true experience buying a car from him. He is very patient through the process and not pushy at all. We bought a 2005 Ford Explorer that has had 2 minor issues with it called Landon his response every time " when is good for you I will fix it". Very honest and respectful man. Anyone looking for a good used car near the Oak Grove area LA auto Bates City MO is it. Excellent prices, good quality vehicles, and Fantastic customer service. Landon thank you very much for all of your help you take buying a used vehicle to new level. Nothing is more frustrating than buying a used vehicle and a few days later something is wrong with it. Landon makes it right thats an under statement. Thanks again we will see you for the next go round.

I've always had cheap cars. 1500, 3000. But im making a 6,000 payment on a car that has spent weeks broken down but has messed up since DAY TWO. I owe a huge loan for the car still, and I cried for MONTHS after I got it. If I can prevent someone else from being devastated like I was id like to

I bought a Chevy Avalanche from LA Auto and cannot say enough good about every aspect of the process. Landon stands behind the cars he sells and is a top notch and square guy. He has his own in-house mechanic who can take care of repairs on sight and who can verify everything is working correctly before you drive off the lot. I would not hesitate to send a friend or family to purchase from him--I know they'd be in good hands. Thanks again Landon!

Landon is Awesome and I love the Jeep! He could tell how much I wanted the jeep so he made sure to help me out in any way possible and held the jeep for me. I went to a lot of car dealerships previously and well this one trumps them all. I'd recommend any of my friends/ family to go here, Thanks so much!

good place to buy a car. not a hassle salesman. an car runs like a top. I would very much consider buying again if need to. only draw back is no loan company. you do that yourself or pay cash

I recently shopped around for a very specific year/make/model/engine type vehicle, and found a very clean example advertised by LA Auto. I drove there from Harrisonville, checked it over, and bought it.The next morning, the car was out of commission due to a coil pack going bad (which is something that would not have been foreseen prior to it happening).I called LA Auto. They sent their mechanic to my home in Harrisonville, and he replaced the part with a new one at no charge. I am impressed. This was an as-is sale on an older car, a part that would not have been known to be faulty until it went out, and I don't exactly live close.The fact that they went the extra mile to ensure a happy customer after they had cash in hand says ALOT about the integrity and character of the folks at LA Auto. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a used vehicle in the Kansas City area.It also helps that their inventory seems to cover a wide range of makes/models, and budgets.

I bought my car from LA Auto I had a very small problem with my car about a month after I bought it the owner was more than helpful took care of me and paid for it. it was just a ground wire that was loose. The car did not have warranty and he did not have to help me out like he did! He stands behind his cars and takes care of his customers! A+++

Never buy another car from these people ever again. In my opinion he needs to find a different mechanic. They claim to fix stuff but all he did was bypass stuff. I spent the last of my money $3,000 now 4 months later i have a broke down car due to a blown gasket. Also where ever they take there cars for inspection passed it with a bad tie rod. Im a single mom of 2 kids and lost my job due to not having transportation.

I bought a 07 Ford f150 it needed parts replaced after my purchase they took care of everything. Very nice caring bunch of salesmen and mechanics. Definitely would recommend purchasing a used vechile from them.

Great guy great vehicles a lil above average on price, worth the drive, I went a different path, but I would recommend LA Auto
