Their price quote over the phone was exactly what I was charged at the end of the job. The owner went over the exhaust system with me to make sure I was getting what I wanted and they installed it with 90 minutes.Very friendly, efficient staff, professional and did a great job.Waterloo Auto, where I get my tires, oil changes, etc recommended Jim's to me. They said it was a bit of a drive from Waterloo but well worth it. It was a very good experience and I would suggest calling they if you want great service at a very reasonable price.I have 5 stars because that is all there were.......I would taste them a 10.

Amazing place. Twice this month Jim's shop has come to my rescue. Great customer service and they go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable in understanding their diagnostic of what is wrong and what it will take to fix it

These guys are awesome! Another shop (Arnold carx, never go there again) would not install a simple flex pipe. Tried to upcharge to a $1500 sale on my son's car. Went immediately to Jim's. They took car of it in less than 20 minutes with no appointment. Awesome job. You have earned my business.

Jim's Muffler has done a few jobs on my cars. One was a custom exhaust for a 1977 280Z. I requested it to look oem and they matched the bends and weleded on factory hangers. They are very reasonable price wise and each time I have been in they took my car at our scheduled time. I can't say enough good and highly recommend.

Nah, I will not be taking my car there again. The markup on parts is outrageous. I just cross referenced the prices on what they charged me for OEM that could have been purchased from the local AdvanceAutoParts for the SAME OEM parts. All parts in stock that day. I don't mind paying for the labor of difficult work but over charging for parts is just bad business.

Jim has always done great work on my cars. He's been in business in the same place for at least 28 years that I know of from going to him.All the Employees are great guys and keep you informed of how things are going with your Vehicle.Great place to go get Quality work at a fair price !

Great group of old fellows but they do good work and fast for some old fellows and the own is there for the customers and that's not what you see any more .. I highly recommend this place my custom exhaust looks better then fatory

My hometown repair shop told me to get a second opinion on my exhaust issue, as they would have to piece together the parts and the repair would be more costly. They recommended Jim's Muffler and I'm glad they did! Jim's Muffler was able to rediagnose the issue and something that I thought was going to be costly turned out to be not at all! It was a pleasant surprise and I'm glad they were able to get to the root of the problem instead of just replacing the whole system. Thank you thank you!Service: Exhaust

I was told to go to Jim s by a mechanic that had previously worked on my vehicle. I was given a very fair price, especially for the work that was being done. I was also told it would take around an hour or so to repair, and it only took 20 mins or so, and it was done right! I will definitely be taking my business here versus the big name places from now on! :)Service: Exhaust

My name is Shawn I bought Jim s from my father in February so I can t get on the administrative side to respond to each individual ad, I have went over some of the one star reviews, and most of them are for diagnostic fees, I pay my guys great, we have lifts, snap on scanners, plus the updates yearly, insurance, the list goes on and on, unfortunately we have to charge to check vehicles out, my dad retired in February I m doing my very best to provide the best possible service at the best possible price, if there is anything I can do for you please let me know. I absolutely love this shop. It's so hard to find a mechanic you trust, and these guys definitely have earned that from me. They've fixed blown out spark plugs and much more for me. And this week they were able to get me in last minute for an emissions inspection. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Needed full exhaust system and all shocks replaced on F250. Owner himself called first thing in the morning with quote, which was half what I was expecting. Work was complete that day. Great small local business, will definitely use again and have already recommended to others.

DONT TAKE YOUR CARE HERE!!!Was charged 40$ In labor for these clowns to run a check engine light test on my car without actually doing any work on it whatsoever. Don t take your care here! Bunch of scam artistsEdit: Lol swore I d never go back to these guys but they were the cheapest option for work that didn t even actually need to be done. (Don t worry they still charge the same 40$ fee to use their eyes to look at it and tell you nothing) dude I talked to was disrespectful and laughed at me when I told him I d do the work myself for much cheaper. Tried to charge me 250$ for a 30$ part. Lol

For one we took our truck and 1 day they tell us it will cost us 750.00 to fix problem because the snap on tool they have is the best ever. Then we go back to get it fixed and they tell us nothing is wrong with it but charged us to check it again. I could careless about how much your tools cost you. That is your problem, guess you need cheaper tools that actually can find the problem for people. I will make sure your name gets out there of being horrible business to get anything done at.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Jim and team has done work on all of my family's cars. They do great work, has fair pricing and great timely service. I wouldn't take my car to anyone else. I would recommend them to anyone!

I am not a person who usually writes reviews. It isn't because I don't want to write a review. It is because I usually don't take the time. I have been to Jim's Muffler 2 times now and I am really impressed about the quality of work they do and the professional way they treat you as a customer. They are not out to gouge you or do unnecessary work on your vehicle. You can be assured you are getting the best estimate possible and it will be cheaper than anywhere else. Unless you have a friend or relative who will do it for free. When I first went there for the first time I was referred by another shop. The person at that shop told me Jim's Muffler does real good work and I will not get the work done any cheaper anywhere else. I did check around and I did go to Jim's Muffler and I did get the work done for less money. I didn't doubt the person that told at the shop. I had to be positive for myself.

They were able to see us the same day, great service & great prices. I called and made an appointment for some exhaust work. They got me in and out in less than an hour, the work was very professional and done very well. The best surprise was when I checked out at the counter my cost was less than originally quoted. I called there to see if they could check why my car was leaking oil and the lady said it would be $75.00 to do the test but when I got there all they did was look at it and didn t even do no type of work to see why it was leaking then made up some lie about it leaking from some odd place just to charge me $40 just to look at it and not do no type of work!!!!
