Without a doubt one of the best Automotive shops in St Louis County. Sellenriek is Knowledgeable, fair and distinctly Old School and that s a good thing! In this day and age of chain store/tire store/ muffler store posers, who claim to do it all@, Sellenriek will honestly tell you what they can do and can t do!Go here first if your car is older, if you want to keep it rather that replace it, or if some other shop gave you the run around. Tell em James says Hi!

When world wide motors said my truck was too old and had too many miles on it (350,000) to fix!!! Sellenriek automotive did what they couldn't!!! Fixed all my oil leaks, figured out why the truck had a hard time going into park and fix that too. I highly recommend them to anyone. Now I have a trusted auto mechanic who is willing to work on older cars and trucks. Mine is a 2001 Toyota 4runner.

Staff does not know how to communicate with customers. And are not knowledgeable on what a tune up entails, service personnel quoted me $500.00 just to replace the sparplugs. I asked him if they would put the car on a diagnostic machine, and he replied For what Ineptitude at its highest.

My friend uses this shop and last week I needed a couple of tires put on my car asap as I am a single mom and we only have one vechile and BOTH of my back tired went flat! I called around everywhere and no one either had the tires or said they could get the tires in and put on that day. She recommended I call sellenriek and I am so glad I did! I explained to them the situation and I know they worked some magic to get my car taken care of that day! I believe their pricing was fair and honest. They were also super pleasant to boot! I will definitely be taking my car here in the future!

Could not be happier. Bommarito Infiniti quoted $6200 for repairs and it turned out that besides padding the bill, they completely misdiagnosed the problem. I brought the list from the dealer to this shop, they checked everything over and the total was $1241! 5K less than the dealer quoted and on top of it, the issue was not what the dealer thought it was. I have been using Sellenriek for over 25 years on many vehicles and they are great. You deal with the owners, Rich and Dell, who do a lot of the work themselves. Quality of work is top notch and the price is very reasonable. They will not do any unnecessary work or tell you something the needs to be done unless it is needed. 5 STARS all the way.

Excellent machine shop and engine rebuilders. I ve had several engines rebuilt here both high performance and vintage classics. Currently having differential rebuilt on my 1950 F1 street rod. These guys love what they do and it shows.

Always phenomenal thorough quality service done with care and clear passion with fair honest pricing. Most days their appointment margins are booked entirely, so you may have to wait or call ahead of time. This shop is well worth the wait and is the only automotive shop I trust with my vehicles.

Honestly very disappointed. My family has been using them for years, but the last time we went to get our vehicle checked out and tuned up because we are going to be driving all the way to California next month, they dropped the ball.We asked them to keep the least worn tire to keep as a spare, but they put it with the rest of the tires they were going to dispose of, and apparently had them all stolen. They did offer to get a new tire at cost, which we definitely appreciate and would have left it at that, however.We also heard squeaking coming from the brakes shortly afterwords, and when we took it to another mechanic to get a second opinion, they found the brake pads were almost completely worn down. I have no idea how they could have missed this when they replaced all 4 of our tires, and they should have checked those anyways since we asked for a full check up.When we tried to call in about it, they were argumentative and were making excuses such as "We would have to remove the tires to check those", when they had just replaced all of our tires.

Purchaced a Cub Cadet lawn tractor from them. Very nice people, and very helpful. Product knowledge was good and communication was good also. Purchase of the tractor came with free delivery, AND it was less expensive than I could find it anywhere else. Great experience!

Very smart mechanics, did a great job on my motor for a very reasonable price. I saw a Toyota dealer technician dropping off parts at the machine shop. Looks like the dealers use these guys aswell.

Awsome and Honest mechanics. Don't try to sell or do work that is unnecessary!!! They still haven't changed!!! I will not let anyone else touch my car even if it is just to rotate tires Tell them Barbie sent you!!!

I go here a few times a year for machining of my parts, usually flywheel resurfacing or some pesky ball joints in knuckles. The machine shop gets the work done, but they are a little steep sometimes on the prices. granted the next closest machine shop is about 20 miles Id say their prices are fair.

I habe know this place for about two yrs now and every time i take one of my cars they have given me an honeat asseent of what the problem is - a root cause and a price thats always lower than the dealer.
