I had an excellent experience today at Dobbs! Todd provided amazing service and was very helpful. I had my two young children with me and he help us across the street with he had us picked up when the job was done, he honored the veterans discount and gave me the best deal I could find (and believe me I shopped around). my family and everyone I know will be referred to Dobbs in the future no questions asked. Oh and I love the new tires!!

Please read all the way to the end, there is a positive side to all the grief. So I'm torn, typically this Dobb's is great and I have no complaints however my last visit was not a great experience. I got new tires installed, during the installation my painted rim got gouged, I was not informed and noticed it on my own when I got home. They (Todd) did handle getting the rim repaired good as new in a timely manner but it was an inconvenience. When getting that rim put back it was noticed that my rear tires were not balanced properly upon install so they had to take the rear tires back off and rebalanced, again glad it was caught and fixed but what I thought would be a 30 minute appt turned into an hour and 45 minutes. It was also noticed when removing those tires that one of my lug nuts was lost during the new tire install and the tech just put my hub cap on and sent me on my way 1 lug nut short.... When that was found, Todd was up front with me and told me what happened and action would be taken on their end. Which brings me to the positive, although the mechanical experience was rather unpleasant, dealing with Todd was great, he was very professional, up front, honest, and very helpful to get all the issues resolved. He was a pleasure to talk to, and believe me I spent quite a bit of time hanging around there as the issues were resolved. I can't fault a company for one individuals negligence as long as appropriate actions are taken on their part to keep it from happening to someone else. The actions of Todd and Mike to resolve the problems professionally, quickly and correctly restored some faith back into that location. I give 3 stars for this review because of them, without them this review would have negative stars if it could.

We just got another new set of tires from Dobb s in Ballwin! Always a quality product, and the service can t be beat. Everyone is personable and professional, and the work is always done in a timely fashion. Thank you Todd and friends for taking good care of us! We ll be back!

I always have a really good experience at Dobbs but today I drove my car from the shop to my house and looked at my car and realized the hood was never closed. So I drove home with the hood unlatched. Which isn t very safe. Not real happy now.

The Ballwin Dobbs was able to repair my tire right away while I waited. My normal Dobbs in Ellisville couldn't help me today. I give the Ballwin Dobbs manager an EXCELLENT rating (my new favorite Dobbs!)

I was in just a couple of days ago to get my emissions inspection completed, I was able to schedule it same week, and at the time of my appointment they had me in and out in less than 30 minutes. I don't know what else a girl could ask for, I had a great experience and Todd was so friendly and helpful. 10/10

This was my first visit to this Dobbs location and was very pleased with the staff and how they addressed my problems by explaining everything. The previous location I used for 30+ years has a new service manager that didn't know what she was talking about and I left feeling like I needed a 2nd opinion for the work they claimed needed to be done. I hope this new location continues to make me feel confident in their work.

I m confident driving my vehicle after I leave this place. Gives you that peace of mind knowing they are professionals and some of the best at what they do. Also, the guy upfront at the counter Todd, give that man praise. Was able to answer my concerns and was with throughout the entire process. Took my vehicle in for an oil change and state inspections. After a few additional repairs, they gave me a sheet with clear instructions on how to reset monitors, then I brought it back in and they completed the inspection. Todd was super friendly.

Thank you to Todd and the entire team at the Ballwin Dobbs.This was my first visit to their store. My entire experience from the moment I walked in to the moment I left, was a wonderful experience.�It exceeded all of my expectations.Todd even came outside to fill me in on the progress of my vehicle throughout the entire process.He also took the time to thoroughly explain everything to me and made sure I was getting the best possible deal for what I was wanting.I feel they are an incredibly trustworthy car service establishment. Todd never tried to sell me on more items or even push higher-priced products.I left feeling confident that my vehicle was in great hands.The entire staff was incredibly friendly and professional.Thank you, so much. I had been dealing with a low front right tire for a while and needed to get in last minute. Todd had no problem squeezing me in to get it checked and fixed. Everyone was very kind and friendly, I had my youngest son with me. I will definitely be back for any tire needs. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience, if I could give 10 stars I would. Came in with an appointment for a State Emission test.Todd the manager got me checked in right away and as the place was very busy (7-8 customers in waiting room) I expected to wait awhile.30 mins later Todd called me up and said they were finished and passed the inspection.Facility very clean, fresh coffee for the customers and outstanding service by Todd and his crew. I will definitely be back for work getting done and highly recommend them for work on your car (appointments will get you through much faster). Thanks again Todd and will be back.

My battery light was on, and I was stressed because i had plans to drive my van to Chicago for the weekend. Todd at the front desk did everything possible to make sure my van got looked at/fixed on the same day. Great experience!!

Called Dobbs, talked to Todd after the car dealer wanted to sell me a new tire versus make any attempt to repair a tire with a nail in the tread. He took care of me very quickly and with respect which is why I continue to conduct service at this Dobbs!

This place is an absolute joke. The mechanics gave us a diagnostic check which costs $50 and it checks to see if you are having a problem with the alternator battery or starter. They said it was our alternator not our battery or STARTER so we had them replace the alternator which was labor intensive and is why it costed us $1500. 2 weeks later the car doesn t start and we have to have it towed to the Dobbs in eureka where I live because they say they have lifetime warranty s on there more expensive items like alternators and Dobbs will take care of the tow and another diagnostic check. They do another check the same one as 2 weeks ago and now it says that we need a new starter. Again very labor intensive and would have been very easy to accomplish by the ballwin Dobbs while they were working on the alternator plus we have to pay for the tow and diagnostic check now. I called the ballwin Dobbs and of course they had no idea about the starter being bad so either there all incompetent or they know they can make more money having my car there twice instead of doing the right thing for me the first time. Matt the guy at the front desk gets paid to lie so I didn t get too far with him as to why they didn t just replace them both at once. I m Waiting to speak to a manager but doubt that will do any good. I will never be back to this horrendously ran business ever again.

The staff is so thoughtful and very helpful. The tire pressure sensor was not responding correctly and they continually checked it until all systems were working properly. I really appreciate top notch service and this is what you receive at Dobbs. Thank you

I showed up late in the day at closing time after getting a jump from AAA. I needed a new battery installed and couldn t shut my car off. The manager took my car and stayed late to take care of me. His service was above and beyond. Thank you again !!

Ended up not having my IDOD at the DMV and Todd and Charlie were able to get me in and out in just a few minutes so I could go straight back to the DMV before close. They were very understanding of my situation, helpful, and speedy.
