Had my 2015 gmc savana 3500 towed to Transmissions to go on Wednesday afternoon because I needed my transmission rebuilt. They call me the next morning (Thursday morning) and said it sReady to be picked up.I drove there mad to pick up my van (thinking there s no way the transmission was removed, rebuilt, and installed in less than 24hrs)I pulled up, rolled underneath my van to make sure I wasn t being scammed, and to my surprise, its FRESH. These guys are about their business and got me together FAST!I even took pictures while underneath my van. Thanks a bunch guys you really blew wym expectations out of the water! Highly recommend.

234K on 05 Dodge Ram 4x4. They guys rebuilt the transmission in a day, and was ready to go the day after. Runs and shifts perfectly. Highly recommend, they will get all my stuff done with them now. Look no farther. Excellent service

The crew at this shop did a great job. They rebuilt the transmission in my GMC Savana within 3 days and charged me a reasonable price. This place was recommended by a friend and though I m not from the area, I d recommend this shop to anyone in the future.Thank you!

I gave a whole two stars because they did rebuild my transmission, and I'm grateful that my vehicle is working (for the most part) again.That said, I have had a really hard time with this place.(1) Their communication is nonexistent. I did not get an estimate before they started the work. Every time I've brought my car back to get looked at (under warranty), they have never called me when they were done looking at my car. I ALWAYS have had to call them when I think it's probably done.(2) Hospitality/customer care is nonexistent. The way they engaged with me was short and near annoyed at times. They definitely did not take me seriously, and I felt like my issues were unheard.(3) They did not honor the warranty. I spent the last couple weeks of my warranty going back and forth on an issue between my mechanic and TtoGo. My mechanic told me that I've got a transmission leak and that it's not axle fluid (he showed me underneath the car to prove it). A week of waiting later, TtoGo concluded that it was axle fluid.EDIT: One star. After about a year of use, the bottom of my vehicle is drenched in transmission fluid, and I deeply regret using Transmissions To Go. My vehicle struggles hard to change gears. Photos taken by the guys over at Valvoline Instant Oil Change attached. Now I have to look elsewhere to fix what TtoG botched.

Took my 2022 Chevy Silverado in for transmission service at Jim Butler in Fenton with 61K miles on it. They serviced it and then approximetly 4000 miles later the transmission went out. Butler gave me a quote to replace for $6100. I was like you just serviced it and now it is totally shot. In my opinion, they really didn't care. I said put it back together and I limped it over to Transmission to go. They said yes definetly shot. They also said ZERO, NONE avaiable ANYWHERE on this planet and it could be a year for new transmission. WOW!! I asked them if I could find one would you put it on. They said ABOSULTLY!! Found one in Sikeston that had 7000 miles on it for $1800. Transmission installed for $1500. They also found, prior to installation, that the place I got it from did not put it together correctly and/or was missiong parts. They took care of it and installed the transmission. DID A FANTASTIC JOB AND TRUCK RUNS GREAT!! A PLUS TO THEM, HOWEVER, ZERO STARS FOR BUTLER AND GM!!

This is a great family business. I would highly recommend them. I had them rebuild the transmission in my collector, car 25 years ago, and it still running great. My work truck needed a transmission rebuild and they took care of me very promptly. It was finished within one day of dropping it off, they also replace the front U-joint and transmission mount. It was original with 170,000 miles like the transmission.Even with the extra parts it was almost $1000 cheaper than the big-name transmission shop. I would give them 10 stars if I could !!!Service: Transmission

Called to set up an appointment and the man tried to diagnose my issue over the phone. He was rude and acted as if he cared nothing about working on my vehicle unless I would let him rebuild the entire transmission instead of replacing the part I need. Will not do business with someone who is rude and only about money.

I have been utilizing their services for 15ish years, and my parents did prior to me. Quick turnover; usually within 24 hours. Reasonable pricing, wonderful customer interactions, and lead time on diagnosis/fixes are super quick. They'll continue to have mine and my families business for years to come!! 10/10 recommend!!

Transmissions To Go does not need my endorsement! This busy shop simply knows transmissions and can rebuild yours to do what you need it to do!Talk to them if you know something about transmissions or talk to them if you know nothing!They are hands on one of the best Trans Shops in Missouri!

Transmissions To Go is the best transmission shop in the St Louis Area. I have had two transmissions rebuilt at this shop and have absolutely no issues with either one since. Jeff and his entire team are friendly, very knowledgeable and professional. They have established a great reputation through out the South County area.

I asked these guys to do lead frame on my f150. They did the job but did not bother to tell me that my truck had an engine problem not the transmission. They tell me the engine problem after they stick me with a 900.00 bill for work I did not need. I bet they used my old part on another truck. Not very honest that s for sure. They did what I asked but could have told me it was not what I needed. I would not recommend.Service: Transmission

Honesty and Integrity. Jeff could have easily sold me a transmission after another shop told me I needed one. Upon inspection of my truck it was a rear end issue not a transmission. Straight up businessman.

Super fast service. I had my vehicle towed in over the weekend. On monday I stopped in to get a few items out of the vehicle. I asked the owner when will you at least look at it. He said tomorrow(tuesday). And on Tuesday Around 2pm the transmission had been replaced for the exact amount he quoted. I will follow up with durability review after several thousand miles. Transmissions To Go , honestly couldn't have been a better experience . The wait to get my truck in was worth it , but when you're the best within 50 miles of my house ( Farmington MO ) that's to be expected . I highly recommend them for your service needs . Love working with these guys! When we get a request for a transmission rebuild we always send them to Transmissions To Go for the bench work. Just recently sent my daughter's transmission to them with a quote and 3-4 day wait. They called 22 hours after drop off saying its ready for pickup and $100 less and my daughter has her car back. Thanks again!

My sons truck will be going back for the 3rd time. First time was to get the work done and this will be the 2nd to get it fixed again. The truck is shifting hard and worse than it was before it was "repaired" 1900.00 is a big amount of money for a young man to pay to have his truck " repaired" only to have it keep having to go back. We have had several people to recommend this place for the work and at this point I'm not sure why! We need someone to make it right.
