Great place to go. Enjoyable atmosphere for an automotive shop and you can tell they enjoy working there. They may not have all the amenities other places have like donuts and such but you don't have to have that if you can trust the guy behind the counter and the people in the shop. Very trustworthy and won't sell you something you don't need. I came in thinking I had one problem and they found it was something else far cheaper. I love this place.

Carx had very good deals. Sam got my car a day before scheduled. Which was awesome! Sam was very nice and entertaining. Had to get 4 new tires and oil change which was they did in a timely matter. Recommended them highly!!

I scheduled an alignment. When entering the gentleman had an immediate attitude because they were behind because their staff did not show up. I offered to come next week but he assured me he would get me in. I dropped off at 11a for an alignment and tire rotation. I advised there was a nail in my tire and if they could plug it it would be great as it was in an easy spot to plug. I advised him do not touch the nail or tire if cannot replace. At 430 they call to say they couldn t plug the tire but they did pull out nail so I could buy an expensive tire from them (how convenient ). I then asked when I would have car back to which they said next day. They hadn t even done the alignment or tire rotation. I believe they did this to sell me a tire and get out earlier. I had them put the nail back in and left. Went up to discount tire who not only fixed the spot but did it for free!

Brought my Dodge pickup in for state inspection. Did not pass because I had just installed a new battery so it failed emission which I understand. They also failed it for the front swaybar links which I replaced myself. Drove the truck around to get all of the emission values to reset. Took it back and payed for another inspection because the other had lapsed. My fault. It did not pass again because I did not drive it enough. Failed only on emissions. Drove it quit a bit and took it back. Payed for a third inspection because I was to busy to get it back in time. This time it failed for the rear stabilizer links only. Emissions passed. I questioned this and was told they can fail just like that. I've been a mechanic for 42 years they wear out. They don't suddenly fail.Will not go back or refer anyone. I quess I'm the last honest mechanic .The issue is you inspected this truck twice before and did not mention the rear stabilizer links. So did you not inspect them the first time when the front links failed? Or are you just trying to rip me off? By the way I went to another shop and the truck passed with the stabilizer links as they were.

When I called about a question I had the guy that answered was extremely rude and talked to me like I was stupid and didn't help with my question whatsoever. I decided I'm going to go somewhere else to have my car fixed because I don't want anyone that's going to be rude to customers fixing my car.

I had a wheel alignment done on my truck at the CarX in Arnold, MO. I went there because I had a coupon. I had never had work done at this company, but when I got there I noticed they had large potholes filled with water in the area outside of their bay doors. The parking lot is very small so I had to navigate around them to keep from falling in them and getting my truck dirty (I had just washed it). The technician took my truck for a test drive before and after the wheel alignment, but did not try to avoid the potholes and just splashed right through them throwing dirty water all over the side of my clean white truck. He also got grease on the outside of my door where he had shut the door. While the quality of the work was good, I think the company could invest a little in improving their very small parking lot by filling in the potholes and also teach their technicians to be more respectful of other people s vehicles.Service: Wheel alignment

Blake, the manager at the Jeffco Blvd location and his staff provided the Toyota 150 k mile service. He compared the Toyota specifications and provided courteous, professional and exemplary listening to additional repair requests that I needed. I trust Blake and his team. Larry, the mechanic, and Blake make a good team. The customer service area and bathroom were clean, the windows were washed, and the trash cans were emptied. Even the shop area was clean and well maintained. Went there just a couple days ago to get a repaired tire. I called and had them order it ahead of time but due to an inconsiderate driver (not their personal driver) I ended up waiting a few hours. (I was told this wasn't normal and they apologized a handful of times.) I was constantly reassured and checked in on frequently which was great! They ended up apologizing and even gave me a few bucks off the tire. Great service and handled extremely well. Great location to get a tire, highly recommended!

Went there with What turned out to be a simple problem. the manager Blake was able to take care of it. It was a simple fix he refused to charge me.. He was so great I normally wouldn't leave a review But it's nice to know there's still businesses that care about the customer like Blake

They got me in fast but I had to help the general service guy to reset the maintenance and he left oily fingerprints on the handle of the car and the dash. Did let me borrow a clean rag to clean it myself though. That was nice I guess.

Went in for a simple alignment. Was going to just get the one year alignment because I m not keeping my old truck to long. Was told it would be $89 which is fine. Dropped off the truck a few hours later they call me and said I have a few loose bolts they could tighten them up for $40 I tell them that s fine go ahead and do it since you have the truck there and up on the lift. I also told them I wouldn t be picking up the truck my self the wife will get it. So my wife picks up the truck and calls me and says why did they charge $85 just to tighten a few loose bolts. I had no idea why. So I drive the truck and it was worse then before I took it up there now it pulls hard to the right. Please never take your vehicle to any car x location. Go to a trusted mechanic shop.. lesson learned.Service: Wheel alignment

I needed a quick Emissions test done and I called to see if they had any availability and Blake, I believe was his name, was very helpful. Explained they were a little busy but was able to get me in. I was there and out in the matter of 30 minutes.

Yesterday I called needing Safety and Emissions inspections for my vehicle and was hoping I could get it done today. Zach was very nice and offered to work it in if I d leave it. He was very understanding and helpful, as usual. I ve spoken with him in the past when scheduling oil changes, etc. for other members of our family.Today I dropped my car off, expecting to be without it all day. When I walked in, and met John, who introduced himself and was very friendly, professional, and courteous! He gathered the info needed, then let me know they d get it in when they could. I said I expected it to be, I was totally fine with it.About an hour later I received a call that my car had passed, and it was ready to be picked up! Each time I ve been at Car-X or talked with one of them on the phone, the employees have been awesome! I feel they treat you with respect and kindness and are straightforward, honest, and fair about any issues with your vehicle. I d recommend Car-X in Arnold to everyone! they checked my car & told me multiple things wrong with it & it would cost over 2k. i take my car to another shop & they tell me only a few things wrong with it and it costed less than 1k. so needless to say this place will just try to get the most money out of you, saying things that are wrong with your car but actually are not.Service: Vehicle InspectionService: Vehicle Inspection

The promotion card says 3 oil changes for $29 each then wanted me to pay $120+ for the first oil change and told me it would be $15 for the next two oil changes, which comes out to $50 per oil change. Asked if that was for conventional or synthetic, they said conventional. And could not give me an explanation on the $29 oil change. What a waste of time. I would have paid $50 for an oil change if they could have explained their own promotions.

The gentleman here were fantastic. Super helpful, they explain everything in detail, and they don't try to swindle you into getting unnecessary work done. If you need a good mechanic, I'd definitely recommend. They were also super sweet to my very energetic 2.5 year old.

Do NOT take your vehicle to this location if you are particular about your vehicle. They will NOT treat your vehicle with any respect. The "mechanic inspector " acted like he never had to work on a lowered car before and couldn't figure out how hood pins worked.Service: Vehicle safety inspectionService: Vehicle safety inspection

They are very pleasant to deal with, HOWEVER they told me they could not perform an alignment on my car until the tie rods were all replaced --(for $500!!!) Two separate mechanics (my dad and a different local shop) checked it out and told me that my car absolutely did NOT need the tie rods replaced. (And that if they did, $500 was WAY too much!) I took my car to a different shop for the alignment and now it drives like a dream. It really felt like they were assuming I knew very little about cars and trying to take advantage of me. This left a very bad taste in my mouth and I will not be back to Car-X.

I was traveling by myself over Thanksgiving, and my van's battery light came on while I was still 3 hours from home. Turns out I needed a new alternator. Chris and Larry ( I believe that was the technician's name) were fantastic. Not only did they save a space for me (I was about 45 minutes out from them when I called), they got me in right away, double checked everything to make sure I was spending my money in the right place, and treated me like a long time customer rather than someone who didn't live anywhere near there. The best customer service I've had in a long time. 11/10 recommend!Service: Air conditioning
