I travel the country in my GMC and often go to different GMC dealers and have never left a review before. However, George Carr GMC was so amazing to deal with that I feel I should leave a review. Kim and Lacy made my experience comfortable and flawless. Kim arranged a rental car for me and kept me updated throughout the whole process. Lacy was an amazing person and added to the awesome experience. The work was performed fast and done right. I will definitely be referring my friends and family to Kim and Lacy at George Carr GMC and that is the best recommendation that I can possibly give.

The experience was great far as the customer service. My negative is I came in due to my air not working. I was told I needed a compressor. Price 1200 dollars. Which I didn't want to get fixed being it's turning cold. I got it fixed anyway. 2 days later no air. Took it back in and was told they left the seals off. Took it home 2 days later no air. Took it back in now they telling me it don't happen often but everything went out at once. Therefore I need a condenser and evaporator coil. Which will be another 3400 dollars.(only because they cutting me a deal on labor cost) I now have my truck in another shop because I can no longer trust the dealership. Keep in mind this is a 2018 yukon.

I came in for a routine oil change and wanted to replace my windshield wipers. The service manager quoted me a price for the mid tier wipers and during the install they only had the higher end. They honored the original quote.

Drove from Michigan to trade a truck in on a truck from Mississippi. Service was good. Wasn't real happy about trade in value on my truck. Truck i was looking at was quite dirty. Other than that , nice place

I'm a tow truck driver and was dropping off a customers truck to get fixed. Everyone in the service department was very friendly and polite. Then after I dropped the truck off. My bed was covered in transmission fluid and gasoline. The workers in the wash area were nice enough to let me bring my truck over and use their equipment and helped me spray my bed off to make it safe again and no longer dangerous and slick to where I could have slipped and fallen or a vehicle could have slid off. Or my bed could have even caught fire from the gasoline. Will recommend them to people in the area for sure

My 2019 GMC truck broke down on the way through Vicksburg stranding my daughter, two little kids, and me as we were traveling from Texas to Fl. We had it towed to George Carr because it s the GMC dealer, rented a car, went to FL. The service man told my husband it was fixed, charged close to a 1,000.00, and left it for us to pick up around 10 pm on our way back through. When I got there, all of the lights were still on and nothing was fixed. It was still shaking and vibrating and doing everything that the recall for this year and model said it would be doing. They could not have cared less that it wasn t fixed. We left it, and rented another car to get home. My husband and his nephew went back a week later and hauled it back to Texas. Now, it s at our private mechanic who actually knows how to fix vehicles and is honest and ethical. Do not trust these people.

From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out I felt very comfortable. I was greeted by a wonderful lady named Roxy. She was very delightful and helpful. I was then introduced to a very lovely lady named Emily which was doctor Carrs assistant. She was informative and helpful. Doctor Carr himself is a very professional gentleman and say gentle man because even though I had very serious and painful dental procedure happening. I didn t feel a thing. Doctor Carr and Emily made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. I couldn t thank doctor Carr enough for the smile he put on my face. Literally. Thank you doctor Carr and associates..

Came in to try to purchase a 2021 Yukon denali xl. Had a trade in I was going to do. Make a long story short I was offer a low amount for the trade in because so call my struts were bad lol. So I decided to take my business somewhere else. Thinking the guy may be right about my struts I decided to take my truck to a mechanic to check it out, and of course there was nothing wrong with my struts, as I knew from the beginning. Either the guy had no clue what he was doing or he was trying to get over on me, either way I cannot do business with someone like that.Went to another dealership and guess what? I was offer 8 grand more then what George Carr Dealership offered me. ITS THEIR $85K LOST.

Excellent staff who are extremely customer friendly and oriented. Accolades to salesman Mark Hawkins and Mike Francisco, the F&I Manager. Definitely a five star dealership and I recommend that you give George Carr the opportunity for your business before you finalize a deal elsewhere.

The customer service at George Carr is phenomenal! The care shown exceeds the usual. They make sure every need is assessed and addressed! I feel comfortable in the waiting room! The atmosphere feels like home! With the fun popcorn machine and the good ole coffee to the employees randomly checking on you, ensuring your day is well.

I told them about something the was not send in the picture that was taken. The car was dirty at the time the picture was taken. So they are contacting the insurance company to try and get that taken care of also. They are great!

Marty was very thorough on determining what needed to be done for the ac problem and corrected it in a very timely manner. As always couldn't ask for it to be any better. Kim and Everyone and I come in contact with are friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. George Carr Motors is a fine operation.

Tony Campbell sold us a 2015 Buick Enclave that year. Once a year, he would call to see if we were ready to trade to a newer one. We would say "No" and he would say "No problem. Let me know if I can help you." I decided to buy another Enclave so I called Tony's cell number. (I had saved his card.) Asked if he was still selling cars. He said "Yes" so I went over the next and bought one from him. Very nice man. Not pushy at all.

The car dealership itself is wonderful, I highly recommend 100%! But it would be even better if Salesperson Angel Robinson wasn t there. Rude! Rude! Rude! She is the rudest person I ve ever had any dealings with, honestly! She talks to her customers like they re her kids and then every time you call or ask her a question she pops off with an attitude. I hate that she was my salesperson. I should ve went to someone else!! SHE NEEDS TO BE FIRED ASAP!!! I called and placed a complaint on her TODAY and whoever her boss is I hope he fires her! Angel Robinson doesn t do anything but talks on her phone and sits at her desk and looks at you crazy the min you walk through the door. If Angel doesn t want her job, she needs to GO HOME AND STOP COMING TO WORK! She is the rudest person there, but everyone else is so sweet, nice, & welcoming. As I ve stated before I recommend George Carr, but the salesperson Angel I do not.

George Carr Service Department is staffed by excellent managers who make those of us needing help with our automobiles feel comfortable that they know exactly what to do and which of your technicians can do the job best. Then, we are made comfortable as we wait, or we are invited to be whisked home via your ride service. We are notified when our vehicle is repaired and is ready for us to get it and go. Your people couldn't be more helpful.

I have always had my Buick serviced at George Carr, for like 40 years. They are the only dealer I trust with any of my vehicle's and they do an awesome job every time. They are the best, everyone is helpful and they treat you like family.

Steven Barber came out, and I explained to him about my issues with vertigo over the last 7 months. I told him how I could not drive my other cars, but it was easier to drive my husband's truck. I just wanted to see if I could drive the GMC Terrain that was on the lot. Mr. Barber got in the Terrain with me while I drove it around to see if I could even drive it. I had no issues. This was the easiest car purchase I have ever gone through. Everyone at George Carr was understanding of my situation.

The George Carr service department is a cut above the rest! Always accommodating and courteous and they get my service done quickly and get me back on my way. They also have a comfortable waiting area for their customers, which is a big plus.

Over the past few years I have done business with the people of George Carr s service department, body shop, and today I purchased my first vehicle from them. Previously, I had purchased a used vehicle elsewhere in which I took to their body shop for work on a sunroof, along with having their service department perform maintenance on the vehicle. My experience with the body shop was great! They took very great care of me, kept me informed, and worked around my schedule to fit my needs. The most recent experience I had with their service department I have to mention in detail.Around spring time of 2020, I took my vehicle to them for routine maintenance, during which they found that the top stud for the upper control arm was stripped and needed attention. Bear in mind that I work offshore for a company that s 800 miles drive away one direction and was about to head to in the near days ahead. Also at that time, was when GM was going through their difficult times. The head mechanic at the service department sacrificed his lunch break with his wife, to drive me to a parts store to buy the only part left in a 80 radius, and spent the remainder of his lunch break to get me back rolling. Normally when you take a vehicle to a dealership for service some would say it s normal for them to come up with multiple different newly discovered issues in order to try to manipulate a customer and make more money. These guys had no problem showing me up front and in person what the new found issues were, and indeed they were things that needed immediate attention. I want to also mention that my mother has also done business with the entire dealership (service, body shop, sales etc) multiple times over the years and they have all always went above and beyond for her as well and have taken great care of her.As for the vehicle purchasing experience, I have known Steve Barber my entire life, he is also who my mother has purchased multiple vehicles from.Today I purchased a 2018 Jeep Wrangler unlimited. Steve as expected provided a very professional, unstressful, Extremely courteous and helpful experience upon making this purchase. My father sold cars for almost 25 years, so I ve been around the business and have a little knowledge in regards to how often many people have negative experiences while trying to deal with a dealership. The experience I had in the last 24 hours was outstanding. Steve took time towards the end of their business hours Friday evening to answer questions, and make the entire experience simple and stress-free. I also want to thank mr Mike Francisco in the finance department.Mike took phone calls late into yesterday evening once after hours to negotiate and went above and beyond to satisfy my needs. I could continue to type an additional paragraph going into more details, but to those that may read this review, I highly recommend dealing with George Carr especially Steve Barber who has over 25 years of experience for any vehicle purchase. I d like to again extend a thank you to the entire George Carr team for going above and beyond for not just myself but my mother as well.-Hayden S

I was searching for a New truck for a used price! When coming into the building I was greeted by Robert Landry and he helped me narrow down what I was looking for and 2hrs later I was driving away in a 2019 virtually brand new (4,600 miles) truck for a 20% less than what the show room floor sticker price showed. I will definitely be coming back.

I accompanied my friend to pick up her new Mary Kay pink Cadillac. We were assisted by Herb Caldwell who offered the most superb service. He was patient and carefully explained all the features and helped her get set up. The entire staff was very professional and friendly. The customer service here is truly outstanding!

George Carr is a great place to shop for a vehicle but one of the part guys ,the old man with gray hair is very rude. It really makes the company look bad ,really makes customers do not wanna come back. Overall the company and the rest of the people we're very nice .Thank you all, to the ones that were very nice to me .Never want to do business with that guy again . Went to Atwood Cheverlet and all their people were excellent ,me back on the road as soon as I told them my problem .
