Hands down ! The BEST !I can t even begin to describe how thankful we are to have Mike s maintaining Katie s car. We had a battery, tires, alignment, brake fluid & oil change on her BMW. His shop is clean & organized. Everything, EVERYTHING is in order. Mike is knowledgeable, professional, thorough & trustworthy. He was able to give me piece of mind.I had previously used someone else for her car. I cringed knowing that I didn t feel confident. They were sloppy, and was never able to give me the piece of mind that my daughters car was taken care of.I am beyond thankful that the Lord has brought us someone else to maintain my daughters car.Reasonable pricingFast & efficientKnowledgeableProfessionalClean facility

As a professor of Mathematics at MSU, I have interacted with a thousand good students and kind people in Starkville, but unfortunately, Mike was not one of them. I can say he is a VERY RUDE person. Allow me to tell my experience, which occurred just yesterday:Over the weekend, my wife s car broke down on US 82 and had to be towed to Gateway, the only auto service open at the time. However, they were unable to fix the issue. A good neighbor of mine, also affiliated with MSU, suggested Mike s Automotive as an alternative. I eagerly attempted to contact Mike several times via both phone calls and texts but received no response. Eventually, I decided to visit his shop, which conveniently was close to our home.Upon explaining the situation to Mike, he agreed to inspect the car. So, I returned home to ask my wife about the towing company's information and arranged for the car to be towed to Mike's shop. The towing guy said that the car could be there at 1pm and I could go there to pay him. Our boys were excited to hear that I found a nearby auto repair to fix their mom s car and wanted to go with me. So, I took them with me. We arrived at 1pm and waited about 5min till the towing truck to arrive. As I settled the payment with the tow truck operator, Mike abruptly warned me to watch my children, citing his insurance policy does not cover if something happened to the kids. This initial interaction showed he is not friendly, particularly towards children.When I asked about the timeline for repairing my wife s car, Mike claimed he had numerous other cars ahead in queue and does not know when he could check the car. I replied "since I already towed the car here, I trust in you, just give me at least a rough estimate so I could inform my wife, who was relying on the car for her daily commute to her workplace (not in Starkville). In response, Mike suggested I take the car elsewhere if I wanted quicker service, as the tow truck was still present.At this point, it is clear that Mike lacked basic customer service skills. To me, I rarely must deal with sending my car to auto repair and have not much experience. Despite my frustration, he simply returned the car key in a brusque manner and walked away. I was very disappointed with this action, and I immediately paid the tow driver additional fee to have the car towed to another auto repair shop.Mike, there are countless ways to communicate the same message with respect and professionalism. Even if it was around 1 pm and you may have been having a long day, that's no excuse for such behavior. As a business owner, your survival depends on your customers. If you continue to treat them like this, you'll find yourself with no business at all. I have absolutely NO DESIRE TO EVER TO SEE YOU AGAIN after this experience.

Mike is a knowledgeable person and knows his trade well. A free honest quote followed by repairs extremely well done- couldn t expect more with the service on my car!!His shop is well equipped to take care of all the repair needs on a vehicle. Procuring spares is not a problem, and you ll get a best price for the quality parts they ll install.Mike s Automotive are prompt in communicating, keeping time and delivering an exceptional service. I highly recommend them for any of your repair/ tire/ rim needs.

Without a doubt the best automotive repair shop in the entire 39759 Zip Code. Been doing business with him for the past 14 years and will highly recommend Mike to anyone in this area, especially senior citizens. I am an 81-year-old woman and he has never " ripped me off"! Mike is always courteous and respectful!

If you're in Starkville this is THE BEST mechanic.He will be honest and fair. Also quick service Everytime. I could not recommend Mike enough.He will be cheaper and of higher quality than William Wells or any of the chain mechanic shops in town.

I highly recccomend this place. Mike was very friendly and helpful. I just needed a set of tires for my Touareg and he was able to help me get a good deal on the tires and clearly explained all of the charges without me asking. Service was quick. He ordered the tires on Monday morning and I had them on my car the next day. I even came in with a good amount of brake dust on my rims and he cleaned all of it off. I'll definitely be going back.

I have used Mike's Automotive many times. He is always polite, explains everything well and fixes issues in a timely manner. Mike has worked on my old baby 2007 Kia Spectra and my Nissan Altima. Fixed the air conditioning on my Honda CR-V over two months ago. Air works as good as the day we first bought it. And a Mike came in under the price of anyone else I had to look at it. Amazing! Would definitely recommend!

The guy was nice. With my daughter being away from me at school, I chose by reviews. I am not sold on some of the items charged for on billing receipt. 1 item i think may have been made up. I couldn't find the part online nor had any mechanic I know ever heard of it or had an idea of what it could have been. He quickly diagnosed and fixed issues with my daughter's car. Her car has been running smoothly since the repair almost 2 weeks ago. I would encourage to ask what parts will be changed and if they are necessary prior to repair. For the unknown part, which made the price of parts doubled $$, I give him a 3.5.

My son is in college at Starkville. He had a problem with his car starting. Mike's Automotive was recommended by a family member. I had his car towed to there shop. This shop is very professional, calling me to update on the repair and cost. I live 120 miles from his shop, I would not hesitate to take my vehicles to him to repair.

Horrible mechanic would not recommend my worst enemy to this shop...told he could fix the problem and 1 week later he changes his mind...never ever ever go to Mike's auto 9r risk losing your car....after asking around not a single person had anything good to say about him
