I wish I could give more stars, I had two flat tires within days of eachother, with a newborn.. I could not avoid being out due to taking other kids to school but we arnt getting out in public other then that. I called ahead bc I didn't want to get my newborn out and around people. They not only did it completely contactless, but called to explain and make sure I had everything needed and understood what they where doing.very professional knowledgeable and over all worth spending the money there instead of another company. Thank you!

I had a tire going flat regularly. The guys at Gateway looked at all of them for me. I haven't replaced tires since I bought my car in 2020. It's a 2018. So tires are older than your car apparently. It exclaims why mine were so worn. Four tires and an alignment later, I'm safely back on the road!

I am disappointed with my latest visit to Gateway Tire and we will not be coming back. I brought my car in to get an oil change and when I picked up my car, as soon as I drove away, a metal piece holding my oil pan in place came loose, meaning whoever was working on my car, did not put things back together properly. I'm glad I found out as I drove away and not weeks later on the road somewhere. What would have happened then? They fixed things right away, but didn't even offer anything for our troubles today. Not even an apology as we left. I don't trust bringing my car back over something as easy as this.

Be careful! I used to brag on this place but i went and had some front-end work done on my truck and they broke 2 blots off my rim and never said anything just put my centerpiece on my seat when i asked them about it the manager was rude and argumentative. Said that its not there problem. They put them on when they put tires on about 9 months ago he told me to try vise grips well if i pay someone 1200 dollars to fix my truck thats not something i want to hear.

Needed a tire patch on a Saturday morning and I got service immediately and it was finished in about 20 minutes. $27 bucks and I was back on the road to Tennessee. Thanks guys

They're nice people, and they work quick, I'll give them that. But a couple of weeks ago, I brought my car in for service because my brakes were grinding and skipping. They serviced the brakes and told me it should be fine, but if not, it may be a cylinder issue.On Wednesday, not a couple weeks after my car was serviced, my brakes completely failed and I went through a red light and T-boned another car. If the brakes weren't fixed, I shouldn't have been driving it, and I wish they had gone ahead and fixed the whole problem. Now I'm dealing with insurance and a different repair center. I drive for a living so I'm in a serious bind at the moment.

Went in for two front tires due to bumpy ride and jerking steering wheel. They sold me 2 front tires and mounted them. I discovered that they or their equipment had cut grooves into the wheel itself. These are not fixable. I was met with snide remarks and disbelief that they had done anything wrong. Tires seem great but customer service is awful. They won't compensate for damages

Came in with a flat tire issue. Fast courteous service and very professional. Walmart had told us 1 1/2 hours with only 2 cars in the bays. This place was packed. 30 minutes we were back in business! Highly recommend!

I had a slow leak in one of my tires, so I took it to Gateway since I bought my tires there and really like their service, and the friendliness of everyone there. Anyway, it turned out there was a nail in my tire. When I was bringing out my card to pay, I was told NO charge. Wow. Thank you Starkville, MS Gateway.

Longtime family of customers who have had 20+ various vehicles serviced here over last 2 decades. Friendly, professional staff. Clean business in garage bays & waiting area. They take the time to understand what the problems are, make honest assessments/ quotes, and charge fair prices. Many times they have waived the costs for minor repairs or simple fixes for loyal customers.

I would highly recommend Gateway Tire & Service Center Starkville to anyone who needs their auto repaired at a reasonable rate. Very professional and reliable. Mr. Terry Blair and Mr. Mitch Mackinney have been one of the best people to do business with. They are friendly, ethical, and professional and always go the extra mile to take care of us. Working with them and their team gave me a lot of peace of mind and has been a delightful experience over the years.

Update: I was sure my alignment got off from some pot holes when I went out of town so I took it back to get it checked, possibly redone. They checked it out and said it was still good. They said no charge. I cannot recommend this place enough!Great customer service! They did exactly what I needed done, nothing more, nothing less. Cheaper than I anticipated. Clean lobby and polite to customers. Will be getting my business for any other vehicle tire needs! Also recommended them to friends.

I needed to replace my car's sway bar links, and visited Gateway twice-- once at 7 AM and again the next week at 8 AM-- the first time, I apparently missed a call from them after the oil change (though I did not have a voicemail or other notification from them) about the links. I came back shortly after to get the work done, and was told at the counter that the mechanic on staff refused to work on cars previously assessed by another mechanic, and that I would have to come back whenever the other mechanic was working.Replacing sway bar links is relatively simple from what I gather, though I don't have the tools or time to do it myself. The extremely odd policy of not permitting more than one of the Gateway mechanics to work on the same car is very suspect, and I highly doubt that this is applied to all customers-- maybe it was the just the employee I was dealing with. In any case it's nonsensical and frustrating.They provide fast oil changes if you show up extremely early in the day, but their lackluster service other than that made me patronize another shop in the end.

They're always so polite and kind when I bring my shitbox of a car in, I highly recommend them. Especially if you're a girl who moved here for college! They'll treat u right and fix your stuff for reasonable prices

Gateway is great for the general things. They're professional and straightforward. Once they even looked at my car to try to determine the issue and, despite taking an hour to look at, they didn't charge me anything. I'd give four stars but you have to plan to be there for 3 hours or so. This is similar(or better) compared to Walmart in my experience, but it still stinks to have to wait so long. If you can leave your car and pick up later or another day, it's ideal. Prices might be a little higher but I trust them with my vehicle more than other places.

Great experience. Recently, we got four new Yokohama tires, ball joints, tie rod ends, and an alignment for our Toyota Sequoia. A couple days after, it began pulling hard to the left at interstate speeds. I took it back, they verified a good alignment, and pin pointed the issue being with one of the two front tires. They replaced both of them under warranty free of charge, and in a timely manner. Mitch was beyond helpful, and Kevin does fantastic work.

I m not trying to be a Karen but, I took my car here to get my tire patched which, they did. When I got my car back I noticed the handle on the inside of my car was broken and they were closed after I noticed so, the very next day I called. They told me basically if the guy who did my tire did not confess then there was nothing that could be done and that he was not at work. A few minutes later they called me back and told me to bring it there for them to take a look. I went there just for them to tell me they were not going to fix it because they did not think they did it. Mind you I just bought this car so, it is new I have no reason to lie about my door handle. I m sorry but if you break something you need to take responsibility and fix it.

I have been a customer of this company for 30 years. Bought numerous sets of tires always with the road hazard protection. In last few years, both at Flowood and Starkville locations. I have noticed that new tire sales installations are prioritized over all other work. Balancing and rotations under the road hazard extra protection always take longer. Today, a simple flat repair took 3 hours, 30 minutes. I realize general service standards have slipped since the pandemic. I suppose I do have options: 1. Buy tires at the dealership. 2. Buy tires from another dealer next time, 3. Find another tire company not as busy next time. Need to do better than this!

Gateway is great! Terry and the rest of the guys do a great job. I had a flat tire at 5:00 in the afternoon and had three dogs in the car with me. I got to Gateway and had no leashes, as we we're not planning on getting out anywhere! No problem, the guys left the dogs in the car, with the air conditioner blowing, and fixed the flat in ten minutes! Great place!

Very easy and helpful workers who seemed to really enjoy their job. Had to leave car overnight and got there after they closed and Jason Holloway waited and even called me first thing in the morning. Big relief knocking it out the way as fast as possible. Would recommend this business and him to anyone who needs help.

I sent my son to Gateway because a trusted there service. Well today my son had a screw in his tire and had to get it fixed right away. Tire center was not overly busy at the time. Service department fixed tire and failed to fill all there tires to balance psi on all tires. Also it was raining at the time and windows where left down after servicing vehicle. A little better attention to details is required.

DO NOT go here for alignment on your vehicle. We put new tires on our car and had a 4 wheel alignment done or so we thought about 5 months ago. At our oil change and tire rotation our mechanic told us we needed to get the alignment checked because one of the tires was wearing more than the others. I called to inquire about it and was told the previous alignment was not still under warranty but they could check it if we brought it by. He also told me that he bet I was using an oil change place right down the road because they tell a lot of people wrong information. I explained that was not where we had gone. My daughter took it by and the checking he did was just walking around the car feeling of the inside of each tire. Didn t put it back on the machine or anything. He did tell my daughter he didn t know who was doing our oil change and tire rotation but they didn t know what they were talking about. Told her that only one tire was wearing different and that was because it had been on the front and was the primary pulling tire. Took it to a trusted shop the next day and when he put it on the alignment machine there was red all over the screen meaning it was not properly aligned!!! We only went to gateway because of convenience with my daughter being in Starkville all the time. Lesson learned!! From now on we will drive the distance to have someone we trust do it the right way the first time!!!! And maybe Terry at gateway should learn not to talk bad about other shops when his shop doesn t even do their work properly!!!!

Horrible experience. They claim they run a "first come first serve" business but I sat in the waiting room for an hour and forty-five minutes and watched people who got there after me get their vehicle worked on before mine was. My reasoning for visting was to get the valve stem on one of my tires replaced (a 5-10 minute installation) and they couldn't even do that. Will never be going back and advise you all to do the same.
