This is the 2nd time I have visited this located in the past 3 months. The first time, they patched my tire for free! I had not been a customer there previously and they still patched the tire for free. I decided right then I was going to come back to get my new tires. Went this morning and they were packed! I had an appointment thankfully, so I was checked in already. My 2 new tires were put on my car in about 30 minutes. Super fast! Very friendly staff. Will definitely be back for the other 2 tires later this year!

Update: the wait without an appointment just to speak with an associate was about 90 minutes. It s a Saturday morning and it s busy. I get it. But when you say we ll be with you shortly and then take 80 minutes just to speak with an associate, that s a bit much. Finally spoke with an associate, first name starts with D. Helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly even though I wasn t at this point. Good job. Not his fault that I had to wait so long.I got to the store at 9:15, was helped at 10:35. Vehicle promised back to me by 2:00pm.I initially only gave two stars, see below:Waiting room full of people on a Saturday morning in July 2023. One guy at the desk that hasn t called up a customer in an hour. Associates laughing and joking about customers. This place has gone downhill in the past year. Take my advice, go somewhere else for your tires. Two stars because they generally have better prices than some other shops.One of the associates, first name starts with C (not pictured), looks like he s either stoned or severely hungover (or both) and giggles every few seconds. Thank you for calling Southaven Discount Tire, the greatest store in Memphis. The only associate that looks like he s working is Tyler. Props Tyler.Waiting for over an hour just to speak with an associate is unacceptable.Part of the issue may have been that their waiting list system was crashing or useless or both. Still, improvise. Use a pen and paper. It s ridiculous. Get it together.

I've done business with Discount Tire for many years in three states. This location is top-notch!Brought a company truck in for a couple patches from nails. The service advisor inspected the condition of the tire and discovered a side wall knot concern. We decided to replace 2 tires. Not only were they thorough and priced fair, but they had my guy back on the road with 2 new tires and a rotation in about 20min flat! They are a very busy store and made it happen for me! Great experience

I talked to Christian on the phone and when I arrived, he was very polite and professional. They got me taken care of that day. Had a huge nail in my tire where the tread meets the side wall, so it couldn t be patched. But I was able to get it replaced for free! Tire warranty is the way to go.

Went there to get a plug for a tire. Waited over an hour for them to tell me they couldn t find anything wrong. Still having problems. Would not recommend this location. They must have checked the wrong tire cause I went to Firestone and they fixed the problem tire.

Do not miss coming here. Forget gateway or other tire shops. This facility gave an amazing service. From Josh setting me up with what rims and tires I wanted, to the tire guys saving my old rims. I appreciate the K-love radio playing in the background and complimentary water bottle. Thank you guys for the hard work. Affordable prices and great communication on my cars ready time.

Would not recommend! They looked me in my face and told me that they rotated my tires and did not. My tire was literally flat all the way to the ground the next day after I told them that I have anxiety and that I travel 30 min to and from work everyday. They do not care about safety at all. They will tell a woman anything. I would suggest women take their husband or father with them when it comes to car services. I could have lost my life on the highway due to them not telling me the truth because they did not want to service me on a busy day.

I had a terrible experience, and I am still trying to resolve said visit to store #438 in Southaven MS. I went in on appointment to replace all 6 tires on my 2020 Silverado High Country Dually truck when the damage occurred. It was a collection of errors from the start. Took over a month to resolve the broken Right front TPMS sensor that the technician broke and had to order. Then it was forgotten until I followed up with the store two weeks later and ordered. Then I never got a call when it arrived. I stopped by to check the status of it and the claim for two wheels damaged during this visit. It was turned over to corporate claims I found out. Then I stood inside the store for 3.5 hours while they changed 1ea TMPS sensor. To say I have been inconvenienced and lied too is an understatement!! The store manager and senior tech both lie to my face. They blame it on the corporation why the wheel issue is not resolved. They both tell me to my face they accept full responsibility and will make things right. But it has to go through the corporate office/insurance company. And the insurance company says it is the store manager dictating to them that they want the investigation. Basically from the insurance company that means the store is denying the claim. The insurance company offered me $150 for an inconvenience fee. I declined and said no thank you, please resolve the two damaged wheels that I watched get damaged while balancing my tires for the second time. I WATCHED THE TECHNICIANS TOSS THE WHEELS AROUND SLAMMING THEM INTO THE EQUIPMENT AND DROPPING TOOLS ON THEM. I have witnessed personally and have witnesses. I just want them to fix what they damaged no more no less. I have been polite and patient, not expecting anything that is not due to me. My vehicle arrived with highly polished billet aluminum wheels that got gouged and scratched so much that it went through the protective finish. I immediately pointed out the damage to the store senior and the technicians before my vehicle left the bay right after the work was done. They accepted responsibility and apologized and said it would be handled first thing in the morning by Blaine, the store manager that was gone for the day. here I sit months later after the store promises to take care of me and my damaged vehicle wheels.... Bottom line is that if you have very nice expensive wheels and vehicles and don't want things damaged DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!! The store manager Blaine and senior tech will LIE to you just to get your money and get you out of the door as fast as possible so as not to have a seen when they are trying to get by with lies and fraud! My 2020 Silverado High Country Silverado Dually truck was fully functional, the wheels and truck were pristine....until I went to store #438. I highly recommend that if you don't want nice stuff damaged, STAY AWAY. I have had no help from the store or district to resolve this issue and I am forced to get a lawyer and file official complaints with BBB, State of MS and go to social media.

Blaine and his team are definitely the ones to see when you start looking for a new set of tires! They re super helpful and get to work ASAP! Next set of tires I buy I ll definitely be going back to see them!!

The salesman was super and I bought the mitchellan cross climate 2 tires. I'm in love with them. They make the car ride like it's floating and you to feel the road in the rain.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Gf took her car to get 1 tire replaced, and of course they made her believe she needed all 4. She had a appt at 12, I got there at 3:30 and they still hadn t touched the car. I made him scan the tires with their little scanner, and every single tire was still in the green. So why would they make her pay for a whole set when all tires are still in the green according to THEIR scanner. Can t talk to a manager because apparently everybody up there is one. Had to leave the car over night, for a 12 o clock appt. Picked it up this morning and they left the car out in the parking lot all night unlocked. A Mercedes at that. That being said, don t let your wife/gf go alone or they ll try and screw her. This is the Southaven lactation

I blew a travel trailer tire on 85N at 9pm on a Sunday night. They had me up and running by 11am Monday with a new tire. Excellent customer service on the phone and in person. Very happy with the quick service.

How can you quote an "out of the door" price on a veteran discount and then charge an extra 80$. That is a disgrace to my veteran husband who is elderly and trusting. He did not catch the error until we went to pick it up(I know we should of looked t it first). When he ask about his quoted price when we picked up my car, he was basically told "to bad". If you call and compare prices or are told you will get a VA discountthat is not the final "out the door" price. BUYER BEWARE! Veterans be careful!! iI suggest you not trust or assume the price given are even correct. How sad to rip your senior veterans off that way. Shame on you! I feel I am owed a $80 refund for the mounting fee that was not quoted. I am sure I will never get it. I will never shop there again and continue to tell my stoty until you make this right. We have 4 vehicles, what a loss for this company.

The last 3 visits I ve had i have left with unbalanced tires. At this point I m not sure why but I have to remember I m in Mississippi , to all who can read between the lines..check their work while u are there!had a bent rim and wasn t even aware my tires were wobbly and went somewhere else to get them balanced and the shop let me know

I've always had a good experience with Discount Tire, and this location in particular. The prices are reasonable and the employees are attentive and very courteous. (They simply will not allow you to hold the door yourself...lol)I once purchased some tires and wheels and had a serious issue with the fit that started to cause some damage on the rims. I contacted the store and they took care of the issue and got me new wheels that were better suited to my car.Be aware that depending on the time of day, the wait time can be a little long. The good news is that it's just because they're busy helping a lot of customers. I've never witnessed employees just standing around or a lack of employees that would cause the wait times. I believe they also have an option now to arrange an appointment before you arrive.

Fixed my tire for free but the air pressure was not correct. Waited 45 minutes after I was complete for them to put air in my tires to even out my sensors

I'm always intimidated in places like this, as a woman. But the staff was friendly and nice. I was able to get my tire changed on the same day, and they explained the process and pricing well. They did forget to replace my windshield wipers (which I paid for as well), but one of the workers, Christian, was very nice and had them replaced right away. Overall, I had a good experience here. The waiting room was nice and cool, too.

Discount tires the people there are great at customer service and fast/flawless work. I ordered tires Tuesday and they were there Friday. The wait time was a little to nothing to get my tires on. They were the only people that could get the tires I wanted in as early as they did.

Went in today because my tire has been giving me issues not a lot of money but was still able to get a tire Nicholas made sure I had a tire I m very impressed with his and josh customer service and it s definitely a breath of fresh air this is definitely my go to spot from now on I didn t even get this level of service from Nissan which is where my car came from thanks Nicholas and josh you are both gems for this company

Excellent service, polite, courteous, and the storeroom was very clean. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and not pushy. The store was nice and cool on a hot day. They had Christian music on the radio, which I loved. I had made an appointment online. I think I may have been there about an hour and a half. They pulled my truck up to the door, and I was back on the road with four new tires.

Prices are good, nice selection of brands and friendly service. The only thing is that they do not do alignments. Not really a bad thing, if you're like me you'll want to carry somewhere after they install and get your alignment at least checked.

The guy I dealt with is a lair. He told me he could not rotate my tires because one tire tread was slightly worn more so than the others and that is not "safe" for his guys to do that so I had to buy a new tire for them to do it...so the new tire thread would be less worn than the other three and you could do it that way???? So you can do it with 3 tires with slightly less thread but not one????? Makes no since. They lie to get you buy there tires....dude was an idiot.

The only redeeming quality about this place is the price in tires. The customer management is terrible. If you appreciate after sale service prepare to wait forever for rotations and balancing. To me, I d rather pay more for tires to have a better after sale experience with maintenance. You show up and there is a line out the door and you have to be put on a list and wait to have your name called. I ve bought several sets of tires over the years and it didn t use to be this bad. I ll be seeking a new tire seller in the future. Bottom line, you get what you pay for.

I ve done a lot of business with discount tire but lately it s been lacking they hold your car forever and when u call they tell u oh it s been ready but no messages or notifications are given at all it s about time to find another tire shop

TYLER was great! He went completely out of his way to make sure my the wheel under my tire wasn t damaged and this was 2 MINUTES before they closed. Says a lot about HIS character and how the team runs!

Thanks to Nick and the whole Team! I didn t realize they were already closed when I arrived with a flat tire. They agreed to still work me in on top of their remaining workload. I would ve been stranded if they hadn t helped. They repaired my tire at no charge, long after closing hours. Thank you all so much for going above and beyond. I will use them for all of my future tire needs, and I encourage others to do the same. These guys are top notch!
