As noted from others, don't go here if you are remotely in any hurry. It's been 4 or 5 months since I dropped off a block for cleaning and inspection. They did say in advance they were behind and t would be a while but geez. I've called 6 times easy and each time, it's we will call you back or can you call back. Not sure of quality of work yet....

I had a great experience with McMurtrys. They took care of me when I needed my cylinder head refreshed (b18c1-p72) they didn t charge me a crazy amount, and it only took the 2 days to complete. Mr. David is a true OG when it comes to the machining game and his facility is top notch. I wouldn t recommend any other machine shop on the coast.

Literally waited two months for a motor to be rebuilt by this company after they said it would take two weeks. After the two weeks I called almost everyday and constantly got a run around. They charged me $825 for the block, then said you owe me $525 for the parts because we didn t charge you. After waiting months for my motor to be redone! My advice is that no one goes through these folks. I had to rent a vehicle and had to pay way more than what I expected. Now the customer is suffering for the companies mistake. I will be going through with a law suit.

The best engine builder on the Gulf Coast. I have used them several times and have always had great luck with his engines. Quality takes time, this not an overnight build. He is also NESMITH certified. Great company to deal with.

Called on Monday for a quote on an ATV cylinder being bored, they told me and said they would be doing a few the next day. Dropped off the cylinder, got a call Tuesday around 1:00 pm saying it was ready. Cylinder in hand and looks great at 2:00 pm!!! Thanks
