I usually don't leave reviews but this was a really bad experience. Took my car to have a rim repaired. Was told it was ready. Called and found out they repaired the wrong rim. So they kept it to repair the other one. Then, when I picked it up, my jack compartment was opened but no jack. They say they didn't use my jack. I've had several bad experiences with this company and kept thinking it would get better. It's time to take my business elsewhere.Here is my response to your response.1. I left my car on Saturday evening with a note to repair the front driver side rim.2. By Monday afternoon I had not heard back from Gateway, so I CALLED and was told the rim needed to be repaired and was given a price.3. On Tuesday at 2:18 I received a text telling me the car was ready. I made arrangements to have someone bring me to pick up the car and thought I better call first. I CALLED and was then told the passenger side rim had been repaired and oh by the way, the other rim is damaged. Had I not called, I would have shown up to be given this information.4. Again, on Thursday at 2:23 I received a text saying the car was ready. I called to confirm and was then told the car was ready. At that time I asked if the tire in the hatch could be removed and disposed of, and was told that would be no problem.5. I showed up Friday morning to pick up the car in a storm. I paid for the repairs, walked out to my car only to find the tire still in the car. I walked the tire back inside, in the storm, and decided I was done with Gateway forever.6. When I tried to start my car, the key FOB battery was dead. Of course, no one mentioned that when I picked it up.7. I am not available to talk during my work day, and did not listen to your voicemail until after you closed.

Went there to get a nail out of my wife's tire. The tech removed the tire from the car and immediately said the nail was too close to the wall and couldn't be fixed. They "surprisingly" wanted me to purchase a new tire. Told them no and drove to another tire repair shop and got the hole patched for 20 bucks. It's amazing that Gateway would rather lose a customer than fix a flat. Of course, they are going to respond and say something about insurance reasons. Basically, it's a scam to get you to buy a tire. Sad to think that these shops work this way.

I bought new tires and requested a particular tire, they put the brand I wanted on but not the tire I wanted. I told them to put the wiegths on the inside of the wheel, they put weights on the outside of two. I had tire pressure sensors on my tires,they replaced them with cheap tire stems. I found this out when a tire was going flat and no warning on the dash, good thing I wasn t on the road. I requested an oil change, I use synthetic oil, they put regular oil in. Beware , they told me I needed a complete front end rebuild,2,400.00, took it to another shop I trust, they said the front end was fine.

Not happy with the service I was given this morning for something that take 10mins to do.I needed a tire plugged and the guy asked me if I could drop it off. for a tire plug NO. So then went on and told me it would be a couple hours before my car would be looked at. Me again on s tire plug. They definitely need to rethink the time management of customer service. So needless to say I drove 15min down the road to another place on a low tire with a nail in it and was in and out in 10min because they don't make customers wait 2-3 hours for a simple repair that the manager could of done since his crew was busy already.To top it all off these tire are from them back in December. I'll go somewhere else after this.

I needed a lot done to my car...tires, oil change, windshield wipers replaced, even a stripped lug nut, that they did not charge extra to remove. Everyone there was extremely professional and I won't go anywhere else for things like these. It's nice to see honest people in this industry.

Did a oil change and an alignment on my 2018 honda accord and they got it done quickly and were extremely helpful and friendly.Chris did my my alignment: answered my questions about the alignment and answered the questions I had about lowering my carToby manned the front desk: helped me get in quick and helped me get quotes for a few other cars and possible jobsJaylin did the oil change: great work, super quick.I called in to see how the wait was and brought in soon after. I'll be coming back.

I waited for almost 4 hours just for them NOT to fix my tire! I had two nails in my rear left tire and instead of them patching it, the mechanic claimed he didn t find anything after taking out TWO nails. I trusted them to be right. My tire went flat again the next day. Not to mention the weather was extremely bad and I have two small children. I would never come back here or recommend this place. They get all these customers and cannot fix anything.

Kelvin provided very courteous and friendly service! They also did a good job installing my tires. However, I requested a four-wheel alignment but was told it could not be done because I first needed to have my lower and front forward control arms replaced due to slack in all the ball joints. The repair estimate was $1347.44. I declined the offer and left without my alignment. I have over 40 years of experience in automotive repairs, restorations, rebuilds, and suspension modifications. I inspected the control arms myself and found no worn ball joints nor bushings and found no slack in any of the front suspension components. This was a very disappointing experience, to say the least. To the management at Gateway Tire, you can do better, some non-tech savvy customers rely on your honesty.Update:Kelvin reached out to me after seeing my review and asked me to return to give them an opportunity to make things right. I brought the vehicle back and received the alignment service at no cost and was also reimbursed for the tire installation. I appreciated the follow-up and actions taken to correct the issue.

It's ridiculous the amount of time they take for an oil change. I been here since 8:30 am It's currently 1:42 pm and still waiting on a oil chance. When I arrived they said about an hour wait. Now they said that they ran out of filters an had to order more that it would take 10 to 15 min it's been 30 min and nothing. I have had some issues here before I just try to giveit another chance but for sure today is the last day. Not to mention that I have my 8 year old with me.

Kelvin and his staff are the best! They are also easy on the eyes too! Lol!! Seriously, they take care of you. I never feel like they take advantage of me because I am a woman, and I don't know what I don't know about cars! Love them!

Brought my tire in to get a new valve and Kevin was assisting me, he was very professional and got me in and out. If I ever need anything for my truck I will be sure to come back here because of him. Wish we had more people like this working.

They always take great care of me and my car's oil changes and tire needs. Sometimes it is a bit of a wait, as they are first come first serve, and they are busy. But it is worth it for the quality of service you receive.

Brought my stepson in to pick up his car which they had for a week. They told him his car was ready. When we got there they said the wrong size tires were sent to them. They did not notify him of the problem until we got there. He went to get it the next day and they said only one tire came in out of the two ordered. He got his car with the one tire. I recommended he go elsewhere for his tires in the future. Just glad it wasn't MY car! Total incompetence on their part.

I am updating my review, its been a while since I been here, but they never disappoint, when you have a place as great as these people who are understanding and go out their way to help you as much as possible... I travel from Yazoo City, MS to have this store service my tires because they are understanding and very nice and help you get what you need done. They keep their 5 stars because they are wonderful. Tires are always great and last longer than any tire service I have ever had and they back their warranties. It hard to find good service... You guys are the best!!!

I highly recommend Gateway Tire in Ridgeland, MS! Kelvin Robinson and his team went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. They are dedicated to every customer and provide a professional, courteous atmosphere. Go see Kelvin at Gateway and I guarantee you will be a return customer!

Gateway told my husband they would have my brakes fixed in one day. We dropped it off prior to 8 am. It took three business days. That would have been okay if we had been updated at minimum once a day. We had to call multiple times each day before getting a status on the truck. This will probably be the last time we use Gateway.

Erin was very rude when i came to do a favor for a MAVIS employee trying to mount and balance a set of tires bought from a MAVIS store. Tires were brand new. Would not recommend this location at all

I have always been pleased with Gateway Tires and have used them for tires, tire rotations, and oil changes. I recently (December 28, 2021) went in for an oil change and tire rotation. I arrived at 6:45am. They say it s first come first serve. They don t tell you this but, That is after they work and finish the jobs from the previous day. I watched my vehicle sit in the parking lot for 3 and a half hours before it went into the shop. It was in the shop for an additional 1 hour and a half for the service. I left the location around 11:30am. Went straight home and when exiting my vehicle I noticed a heavy door scratch on my driver door. I called them immediately and they said please return and the manager will look at it and review video footage of my visit. After reviewing the video the video clearly showed no damage to my door while at the shop. I drove straight home and back after leaving so I guess a mysterious ghost did the damage. Clearly the door was damaged by hitting a pole or another vehicle door hit it. The manager said basically he didn t know how it happened. Basically ignored me. I just left cause by this time I was too tired to go any longer about the matter. It was 2:30 pm by this time. I had spent all day at this place. Clearly the damage happened there. I made the mistake of not seeing it before I left the first time. But hell, I had been there since 6:45am and spent 4 and a half hours there just to get an oil change and tire rotation. If you go to this place, do not wait on your vehicle. Do the drop off. If you wait you will spend the whole time fuming cause it s taking so long. I walked away from there with the knowledge that the manager doesn t care about the customer. How about we go look at where my vehicle was parked in the shop and examine the pole it was parked next to. I bet there is red paint on the pole or on the door of the vehicle it was parked next to. But no, we will look at video that just doesn t show anything. Convenient that there is no video of where the vehicle was parked inside the shop before it was moved to the oil change rack. Anyway, I m done. Just wanted people to know that I wasn t told anything when I left. Just ignored and on to the next customer. I know my review doesn t mean anything because clearly they could care less. I am a very honest person and I know for a fact the damage happened there. Impossible for it to happen driving home then straight back. Who cares you lost one customer, you have plenty more. Right Management?

The best Tire and Service Center in town!Been a customer for years, and they ve done work on all my vehicles.Ask for Kelvin Robinson at the front desk. He s a straight shooter and a good guy. But their entire front desk staff seem like good guys in case he s not in.They have some good mechanics in the back. Not super fast but very thorough. They always take the time to explain if I need service work. Always have a good experience.

I have been going to this gateway for over 10 year and always has received nothing but good customer service. What I like most about the mechanics and sales personnel here they are going to tell you the truth about your vehicle and not just sell you part's. It's up totally up to you if want it fixed right. I've never had a bad experience here and this is my we go the distance for you shop!

Don't bother!! I do not recommend this place at all. A few weeks ago I went to get a new tire. I called ahead of time and asked what the wait time would be, and they said an hour. I told them that my tire was unfixable, and I simply needed a new tire. I was there for THREE hours and forty five minutes while there were only three people ahead of me. It was incredibly disappointing. I overheard a woman go to the front desk telling the employee that she was very disheartened because she had been there for two hours and heard absolutely nothing. I sat next to a woman who had gotten there an hour after I did and she was very upset, as she had the exact same issue that I did - simply needing a new tire. I told her I had been there for two hours already for the same reason, and she couldn't believe I had been there that long. She summoned an employee over and expressed her disappointment to him, and told her how important it is to communicate with customers. He went into the workshop to check on our cars (which were still parked in the parking lot), and came back in and said we were next (mathematically, we should have been a lot earlier). They started working on our vehicles, and took over thirty minutes. Then, the man came out and told me they were done, but needed another ten minutes to put my spare tire back in my trunk (something incredibly easy to do and it is simply a cover that goes on top of the spare in my trunk). Finally, they were "done," and I paid almost $200 for a single tire. THEN, I get home, open my trunk, and they did NOT put my spare back in OR the cover on, or the tools back where they were. It was messier and worse than when I brought them the car!! How difficult is it to simply put a tire back into a hole, and place the cover on it? I thought it was odd how much noise my trunk was making on my drive home. I am beyond disappointed with this establishement. Worst customer service, worst at communication, worst quality. Save your time and money and do not come here.

WORST AUTREPAIR IN RIDGELAND! Bad communication, poor quality , Discrimination, No enthusiasm. I ve been experiencing some issues with my vehicle lately still recently new to the city and needed somewhere to get my car fixed . After reading several reviews I finally build enough courage to call and get a quoting . I was told to come in the following day at 7:00 when they open to get serviced ,therefore; I won t have to be there all day . As I arrive I see that there were quite a few people there and was expecting service , considering they had just opened . Furthermore, I anticipated on being there at least 2 hours so I was ready to wait . When I walked to the desk to check in I was rudely accompanied by the receptionist who stated that we don t do over the phone appointments, so whoever told you we did lied . It was a little disheartening but again I was okay because I really needed my car fixed .As my first 2 hours past I begin to quickly get irritated and impatient . It had gotten to the point where random people where just pulling up and getting serviced even though I was checked in . The second strike came in when I realized no one wanted to really help me , each staff I asked about a specific situation they were nonchalant and brushed the conversation off as if it were nothing . I walk inside back to the receptionist desk to see if my car was being serviced on since someone finally pulls it to the back . Keep in mind that 3hours has passed now . The receptionist proceeded to tell me that my car was only taken to the back just to get put in line for the mechanical side ! I was soo upset to where I decided that I didn t want the service anymore. That meant I was to wait an additional 2hours . After arriving home I was so displeased with my visit I wanted to speak with corporate, to make a formal complaint. I called the store on lake harbor for the number and someone hung the phone up in my face . IS THIS THE ENERGY YOU PORTRAY IN YOUR ESTABLISHMENT ? HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED! wouldnt recommended to my worst enemy! If I could rate with a half of star I would

Go here if you want to be quoted thousands worth of work for an alignment. An oil pan leak is not relevant to an alignment, Gateway. On top of that they charge you $25 for the BS diagnosis but I should ve disputed it.

I came in today and received the best service from Brent and Kelvin. Brent helped me pick tires over the phone yesterday because I was tired of riding on bad tires and I had no clue of what kind to get. He helped me today and gave me updates while I waited and was very kind. Everyone at this location was extremely nice and the Manager Kelvin discussed everything with me and took the time to listen to what I needed. The facility is nice and there were amenities while I waited. I will be sure to return.
