Wonderful shop to work with. They are very honest and fair. I've had lots of awful experiences with mechanics throughout my life, and this is by far the best shop I've dealt with. Mrs Patsy was very helpful and knowledgeable. I wouldn't take my vehicle anywhere else for transmission issues now.

My truck broke down on the interstate. They were quick to send a tow truck after it. Diagnosed the problem. Fixed it !!! I m not from here so I didn t know where to turn and they Took care of me

Worse experience in my life. Went to get my transmission looked at for$880, just to get home and all the transmission fluid ran out. Leaving my kids and I looking for a ride. Thank God I know other people.

Furr transmission picked my car up & repaired the transmission. The car is a 2011 Toyota Camry. The car would not go forward or backward.Took about a week.I had an extended warranty. The total was around $ 7700.The warranty covered $6000. My cost was $1700.I thought better to pay $1700 than to buy another car.It doesn't matter used or new the prices of cars is out-of-control.I am very pleased with Furr Transmission. This is our go to place for all things transmission related.They gave us a year warranty.Thank you, Mrs Patsy & Mr. Furr.

I recently had transmission work done by Furr after receiving recommendations from several folks in my area. I received excellent customer service from everyone there. Miss Patsy in the office was kind and caring over the phone and in person. She explained everything along the way. I met one of the mechanics and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. It took longer than they estimated but my transmission was in bad shape and they didn t let it leave the shop until it was in top shape. They kept me informed all along the way. Most important of all to me, they stayed within the estimate given to me in the beginning. I highly recommend Furr Transmission!

Wonderful, honest people at Furr Transmission! My 2003 Honda transmission started slipping and I brought it here on recommendation from Graves and Stoddard (another terrific business, by the way). I got my car back in a week-they scheduled tow additional appointments to make sure everything was working properly. Patsy and David are kind, caring people and their employees are too. I recommend them highly!

Beware dont let the longevity of this business fool you after 7 trips back and forth to this place im still stuck with a transmission 4L60e that is still not working. I was then told that if they didn't get it right the last they would refund my money 1900.00 well guess what that didn't happen so the owner said just take me to court which I did so I went to hinds county after a zoom court session the judge stated that we would have to come. Be advised the owner knows everyone at the Madison County where the Hinds County judge then said since the business was in Ridgeland that I was going to have to go there ,but on the zoom meeting he said I could filein hinds if thats where I live. So after I lost that 100.00 in court cost I decided to not invest anymore money. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE.Service: Transmission

I can't believe the negative posts concerning Patsy Fire or their business. I have taken my vehicles to them for years and have never had a problem with anything they have done. I even took My chevy Blazer in thinking I was going to need a complete transmission rebuild and MR Fire drove my vehicle, got out looked under the dash and said you're ready to go. I said what was it he said it was a sensor that was bad and he replaced it in about ten seconds and didn't charge me. How can you beat that for service and honesty?

I was very disappointed with the service I received from Furr Transmission. I called Furr Transmission when an antique truck I was driving suddenly stopped pulling, I called Furr and told the female co-owner the exact make, model, year and symptoms of the truck. She told me that they worked on old trucks and could fix it. After having the truck towed from Brandon to the Furr Transmission Shop, my nightmare from helll began. To counter another review that I have read, Miss Patsy is a sweetheart. They have turned into one of three auto maintenance and repair businesses that I trust in this world. They were honest about the potential cost of a repair and we're honest that it might not be worth doing. I also bought a vehicle from them at an exceptional price and they stand behind the vehicle from front to back. Miss Patty tells me when I'm wrong about what I think I know about cars and is able to give accurate honest and concise information. They charge a fair price for extraordinary service and should be your number one stop when you have transmission issues and if you have anything else wrong but they are willing to work on. If they are overrun with transmission work they can recommend someone that they trust for the other work. Also, I shout out to Pat at master lube on grants ferry for sending me to them. Will continue to do business there as well.

Stopped in there to talk to her about something and Patsy told me to F off pretty much and that her time was way to valuable to talk to someone off the street like me. I was going to suggest she look at my 2009 tahoe but not now. I will never suggest her business to anyone in need of any kind of transmission service.

Very Very nice, honest and friendly people. I was having trouble with my transmission slipping and took it to Aamco first. They said that my transmission was in really bad shape and that it would cost me on the upside of 2400 to do a rebuild. I called Furr Transmission and they quoted me an upside of 1700 for a rebuild so I of course took my car to Furr. They found out my problem was only low transmission fluid even though that was the first thing I checked when I was having issues. Apparently I did not check it properly. My car is running without issue now and thanks to Furr's honesty I didn't have to spend the money on a unnecessary rebuilt transmission. I would highly recommend taking your car here for any transmission problems.

Shopped around quite a bit and ended up choosing this company for our Ford Expedition. Very knowledgeable, and also reasonable ($). They stay up on all the complex changes taking place in the auto industry. Look no further, these guys are the answer when it comes to transmissions!!

Like Jay, Pasty Furr was my problem. Furr is a part of a warranty service collective that my original shop belonged to. I had an issue with my transmission here in Jackson and my old shop was out of state. I called my old shop who diagnosed the issue over the phone and suggested we use Furr. When I took the car to Furr, even though they had not even diagnosed the problem, they were demanding total rebuild pay outs from my old shop. She basically stated to me that if I did not deal with them directly and pay them for the work, then I need to take my car to another shop.I took my car to Ranco transmission who was referred to my old shop by their parts distribute here in Jackson. They will have my car fixed in three business days, under warranty, and confirmed it was the band that my original shop had diagnosed over the phone. If you like being accosted over the phone, deal with Pasty at Furr. If you preferred quality customer service as well as quality transmission service, go to Ranco Transmission.

Beware of the owner Patsy Furr, who answers the phone. Apparently business is very good there, as she hung up on me twice and continued to tell me that I was wrong. I have sent a lot of business to these folks in the past but will never again. They have gone downhill and their quality of customer service is not what it used to be years ago.

Had a clutch replaced in my Mustang. 6 months later and the clutch is doing the same as before. I was told that I didn't know how to drive the car and nothing further they could do. I've put 230,000 miles on the car before their work so I don't think it is my lack of driving knowledge. Go somewhere else!!
