If you really want truly honest and experienced mechanics, this is the Holy Grail! My family has been doing business with Bullock's since the 80s and 90s when they were located in Jackson. You can't possibly ask for nor expect better service and know how when it comes to true and honest vehicle mechanical doctors. Amazing professionals and amazing people, 10,000 Stars

I was referred by a friend to this group who had a better experience. I DID NOT. They had my vehicle for over a month to repair timing chain. After working on the timing chain and other things they suggested, I had it for a day and it was towed back. The stated the reason were for the cheap coil packs. They priced me to replace with Motorcraft on the three failing and tune up ($720). It was still having trouble so they wanted to work on it more. After over nearly $3k in parts and nearly $4k in labor, I parted ways. I decide to replace the last 5 coil packs with MC. Only to find that they installed a different cheaper brand - Blue Streak and NOT the agreed and PAID for MC. A bit on the shady side if you ask me. How can you quote and charge me for MC and not use it?? They fall back to their poor communication.The mechanic working on it seemed like any work you asked for he would act like you are putting him out. Strange group with little to NO communication. Whatever you agree upon might not be what they actually do. CHECK THE WORK!!I made 7-8 trips over the course of the month to this place. Being a business owner, I was amazed at how the guy I worked with just didn't really care. Oh well attitude.I was kind enough to let the mechanic to take by bull bar off to make the job easier (just toss it in the back of the truck). They forgot and let is by their work station. So, work was no better or less that what I could have done for 1/4 of cost and time.A lady did bring my bumper to me with remorse, but that might be their only shinning light.Sad deal as I was looking for a company to help manage a fleet of truck. Told the guy from the start and gave them ample time and chances to get things right.Hoping the owner sees this if he is not part of the problem.#still looking for an honest and good mechanic. PASS ON THIS ONE.

Always honest and clear about what is urgent and what might need work later on. I've never had surprise costs. They always inform me before unexpected work is done.

TRAVELERS: This is the shop you re looking for if you re needing an auto shop you can trust! We were 6 hours into an 8 hour road trip and needed breaks FAST. They were able to see us instantly, get us in and out, and gave us a great price. The mechanic even took the time to educate me on the issues I had for future reference. Rick and his team were so kind and accommodating, we joked we might even make the trip for future maintenance! I cannot say enough about how grateful I am for their help in a scary situation. Did a great job listening to my concerns for my vehicle. Replaced starter on my 1992 Chevy Silverado for a fair price. Also diagnosed water pump leak/failure, which I ended up replacing myself, but was so thankful for the assessment. I believe they are a fair and honest company.

I was referred to Bullock & Stoddard by a former work colleague who has used them for years, both personally and professionally. They were courteous, professional, and gave me the best service I could ask for to help me restore my dad's truck. They're were also happy to answer any questions and encouraged me to bring it back in if there were any concerns or problems.The quality of the work they provided was top notch, the quality of the parts they used were actually better than I expected, and they worked quickly and efficiently.I will absolutely be going back to them for any front end work I might need done.

Went to get an estimate and appointment for new brakes and an alignment on a 2011 Impala.Great price! Friendly, knowledgeable crew. Will probably go to 5 stars once the work is complete.

I took my truck in due to a horrible front end clunking sound and obvious problem with brakes. It was the only shop that said they could look at it right away. I figured while it was in, I would also have an oil change (I provided oil and filter), engine tune up and tire rotation. After taking it in, it sat in their yard for 3 days. I inquired when it would be ready and they said they would pull it in the shop the following day to have a look. They did and called me to tell me they couldn't find anything wrong with front/rear brakes and everything looked good underneath. After picking up my vehicle I saw they not only charged me for the oil/filter that I provided, they also spilled oil all over my passenger floorboard. After they cleaned it up, I was able to finally drive it away. The clunking and grinding noise was still there so apparently they never even took it for a test drive. I took it to another local auto repair shop and they found a broken caliper, ball joint needed replaced, control arm and tie rod end. I would not recommend taking your vehicle to these folks. These guys came recommended to me by two coworkers. One said that his son had had some car trouble, and these guys replaced his radiator. When that turned out not to be the problem, they ended up not charging him for it because it was their mistake! So when my car was making some noises, I went to them. At that point, the noise wasn't going anymore, but they said they'd check out anything that may have been causing those kinds of noises. The manager, Lee, told me exactly what they'd charge if it was the problem they thought it was, and when I asked about an oil change he told me what they'd charge for that too. The next day they said they'd not been able to find anything wrong and couldn't hear the noise still, so it didn't seem that there was anything unsafe about it. When I picked up the car, they remembered my name when I walked in, and when I asked what I owed them for labor, they said nothing! I couldn't believe it. Truly honest mechanics, and nice men! They even gave me a possible recommendation for a place closer to my house, and asked me to give them a review of that place if I ever went there so they'd know if they could recommend it to other people. It was a great experience! I'd definitely recommend it.

I regret not knowing this wonderful group of auto mechanics my entire car-owning life! I live approximately an hour from them, and they came highly recommended recently when my 2007 SUV decided to fail me while in Madison. I sincerely wish I had known of them 2 years ago with my newest car still under warranty rather than repetitively leaving it with a Ford dealership in Philadelphia, MS. Bullock and Stoddard have restored my faith in dependable mechanical knowledge, prompt diagnosis/repair, honest rates, and excellent customer service. If needed again, my family will make the drive to their location! Thank you Mr. Ritchie and staff for your genuine concern and integrity!

This staff always impresses me. They don't try to rip you off and leave you and your car hopeless. Next, they make you feel at home in the wait room. Finally, they will let you know when your car is finished, and you will be on your merry way ! Keep up the great work guys.

When the Kia dealer could not get me in for an oil change for 2 to 3 weeks for an express service, I needed an alternative because the car would not shut up about the service. Before I had Kia, I came to this shop to service my Toyota Camry. They kept it running for about 10 years, did I mentioned it was about 10 years old when I moved back from Georgia. My coworker recommended it and they never let me down or stranded as the case may be. I was able to get in and out in 45 min, for the oil change and check up.Service: Oil change

I am a 20 year old college student from New York I really had no idea why was going on but they fixed my car up so I can be able to get home at a GREAT PRICE. Let s remember I am in college and I am poor. I have used these guys over 10 years and 5 different vehicles. They have always been up front about cost and honest about what work is needed. They have even told me when I could get cheaper parts somewhere else or save money by not fixing minor issues. They originally came recommended by a family member who knows his cars inside and out, and I second his opinion.

Have used Bullocks for most of my auto repair needs for over 20 years. Trustworthy is the best way to describe them . Efficient and reasonably priced as well.Very informal and very nice people.

Amazing customer service. Travelling back to Georgia after visiting family & had a damaged rear hub assembly (sounded like the tire was about to fall off!). Lee and Ritchie took such good care of us & got us back on the road in record time. Highly recommend these folks! They literally sent us away with a box of Christmas cookies for the road trip ahead.

Best mechanic. I started going here after I asked on Facebook where to go and, as long as I can help it, I ll never go anywhere else!I completely trust these guys and go for everything from serious car trouble to getting my oil changed.They always recognize me (or my wife) and have even done small work (replacing a shattered side mirror, after suggesting junkyards to call to find a replacement) for free.

I had a great experience here. Took my car in fo what I thought was gonna be at least a thousand dollar repair and they fixed it up for less than a hundred. They could have easily taken advantage of my ignorance but they didn't. They even took the time to educate me on the issue.

The people at Bullock's are AWESOME! They treat you like family and put a lot of care into the work they do. Prices are reasonable and they will shuttle you to work if you don't want to wait while they work on your car. I will be using them again for any automotive needs!

We have done business with Graves and Stoddard for over 20 years and have found them very trustworthy and good at what they do. If they diagnosed something that was not the type of repair that they do, they referred us to someone else. They have never steered us wrong on anything.
