EXCELLENT experience from the phone call to verify some information to the guys helping load up the door! Just awesome! Part as advertised and waiting when I arrived. Definitely will do business with them again!

Ordered a car part from them on eBay, it arrived a week later, and got exactly what I needed & paid for. The part was in good shape (salvage), it was well packaged, fit perfectly and works well. My only gripe was that it came a day late, but that's not on them. No real problems!

I couldn t put - rating. After waiting on the side of the interstate for over 2.5 hrs ( originally told 1 hr), the driver shows up and refuses to take my sister in his truck bc she had her 20 lb dog with her. She lost it! She told him she was getting family to come get her and the dog. So he left her, the dog, and her car on the side of the road!!!! Horrible horrible attitude. AAA needs to vet better

I purchased a part from Modern Auto Wreckers based on their good reviews. The part was still on the vehicle. It's was one of those parts that the condition of it is not known until u remove a bunch of other parts to get to it to be able to see. Once they did so, I received photos of the item (as I live in Canada, therefore did not attend in person). As it turns out, the condition of the part was not much better than the one I was to replace. As a result, Modern refunded the full amount - no questions asked. Throughout the process, I had been dealing with Allen. Allen was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. If all auto wreckers had someone like Allen working for them, many of them would not get the bad rap that they so often do. I will definitely consider buying from Modern again in the future.

They left my daughter on the highway alone because she had a little dog no more than 15 lbs. she was there more than 2 hours and the driver took off and left her alone.

These people came out to me on Tues the first of February after a wreck. The driver was brilliant professional and very calming to me. On Friday I had to go and get my stuff from the van and again the staff was very good. Thanks for everything.

Car was stuck in pearl river WMA. Technician William came to the rescue and was able to pull my car out of the mud. He really knew what he was doing and was very polite. Also got there in a timely manner. Thanks a bunch William!

Just witnessed a Modern Auto Wreckers tow truck tailgating another truck around 12:30am on Interstate 59 with all kinds of bright lights on. After the truck got over, the tow truck got in front of them and turned on some super bright spotlights on the back of their truck. It blinded me and I was behind that truck so I know it did them as well. Super unprofessional, as they were speeding as well and could have caused a very bad wreck with those lights.

Listen I don t usually go out of my way to write reviews because I have such a hectic and busy life but this company truly deserves it.It s currently 20 degrees outside and I thought it would be a great idea to go get myself a hot coffee from my favorite coffee place as a treat for working hard all week. I stopped to get gas and after filling my tank my car wouldn t start. I immediately had a complete mental break down and called my insurance for a tow.The driver showed up within 15 mins even though the ETA said 1 1/2 hours. So that alone deserves 5 stars because there s literally frost/ice all over. It s FREEZING outside. And of course my car wouldn t start so no heat.Instead of just towing my car he fixed the problem in 5 minutes and allowed me to drive my car home instead. A tow truck driver doesn t HAVE to fix my car. It s not necessarily his job. He could ve just towed it to my house and let me worry about it later. But my driver went the extra mile and instead of spending my whole day worrying and spending hundreds at the shop... my car is working perfectly again. Thank you so much guys. Sooooo much. I can t possibly explain how much I truly appreciate y all.

I've visited a few times for various items. The customer service was excellent. Their knowledge and responsiveness -- also excellent. And they had the best prices for the parts I needed. I find it interesting that all but one of the reviews here are positive.

Rude service, came in for some parts. They had one part that we ordered read but told us it would be a few min for the other part. Then came back and told us it would be a few more min. Waited for half hour and asked if they could check the part. Was quickly told "when I get a minute", not even 10 second after that he said. "you know what, theres nothing for me to check, it will be a minute". We wont ever go back there.

Cody is an excellent driver. He was able to do what others couldn't and tow a short school bus for us. Nice, friendly and professional he went above and beyond what you would expect of any tow truck driver.

I had the BEST experience with this company!! I was stranded, literally, on the peninsula in the middle of nowhere with a 3/4 ton truck and a $200k Boston Whaler boat in Venice, Louisiana and BILLY came and got me. Loaded my truck on his flat bed and hooked up the boat and off we went to civilization. Billy dropped my boat at the Metro Boats shop in Harvey and my truck to Bohn Ford, then delivered me and my luggage at Best Western. Billy made a very stressful situation into a fun day as he is one of the nicest, sweetest guys on this planet!! I had complete confidence that he knew what he was doing to protect my assets and he did it all in the most professional and courteous fashion. You will not be disappointed in this company.

Very easy to deal with.Mr Renay really knows his stuff and he will do everything in his power to help you. He helped me with my jaguar parts with no problem and his services are fast, all you have to do is sit back and relax.

Bought a front steer spindle with hub assembly on 07/24/20 and it was bad and took it back just today 08/05/20 because I had to order 1 online because the car it out on is my only vehicle and they wanted to say that there was nothing wrong with it but when installed it sounded like I had a grinder and a lion fighting on my front tire. They wanted to exchange it for another one but not refund me what I paid. Why would I need another 1 when I had to spend $325 for a brand new one to get my car back on the road. So if you got money to waste or you like getting told a part is not bad and getting messed out of money then by all means go here. And they tell you all parts have a 30 day warranty with receipt which I have

I recommend Modern Auto for any of your towing services. The driver made me feel so comfortable as a client. The service was fast and quick. The drive to my destination was so smooth and comfortable I almost forgot I was actually in a tow truck. I would call Modern Auto Wreckers for any car services from now on.

While traveling Eastbound on I 10 after crossing the Mississippi Louisiana line I immediately realized I was four miles from empty. As a 20 year AAA member I just pulled over and used a service call.I was told by AAA that it would be a hour wait has a driver was coming out of Bay St. Louis. After waiting 45 min the call seemed to have canceled.So I put in a second request-which was the smart thing to do.After 15 minutes I received a call from Cody H. Who wanted me to know that he was in Slidell and would be there in about 15 minutes, he asked what type of gas that I normally put in my vehicle.After ending the call with Cody , I received a call from the original request, stating he would be on site in two minutes.The original driver arrived got out of the vehicle, and then walked up and before you put gas into my tank requested $10 in cash.Now as a AAA member I have never had to pay for gas nor have I used a service call in five years. I told the driver that I had no desire to do that and his boss wanted to talk to me I refused.About that time Cody H called again, I made him aware of the dynamics that occurred since we had last spoken and he stated that a AAA plus or premium member never pays for gas. That he would be on site shortly and would resolve the first driver.When Cody H arrived, he check my identification and then he proceeded to the first driver, who would not communicate with him.Cody H. Then proceeded to getting the fuel from his truck and filled up my tank. We engaged in conversation and I told him at that moment that I would be reporting the other company to AAA.Cody H was very professional, had integrity and I calm demeanor. I did ask for his card as I wanted to call his supervisor and complement him.Integrity is something every company should value in one of their employees. When speaking to Allen I hope that I conveyed how lucky they were to have an employee like him.So I trust that if you ever need a wrecker service in the Louisiana Mississippi area off of a 10 I would highly recommend them.

I had to order a hard to find part for the automotive shop I work for, and gave the person I talked to the manufacturer's part number, and a description of the location of the part. The first one they sent wasn't the correct part, since I was looking for a blower motor and the particular vehicle has two of them in the rear of the car. I called them and explained that it wasn't the correct part, and had some difficulty fixing the situation since they don't use the manufacturer's part numbers.I sent the incorrect part back, and I told them to just send a refund since they didn't seem to have the correct part. Within a few days they sent me the part that we needed, and we were able to finish the job for our customer with a small delay. I would recommend using this vendor again, since the part I ordered was such a pain to find and they were able to finally obtain one.

Need a fender in the same color as my car. It has been extremely hard to find but Modern had it for a reasonable price. Staff was very helpful.

Went up there a few days ago to buy a shock and when I put it on the car ...come to find out it was a worn out bad shock and had a slight bend in the shock like it was in a wreck..... so I had to order a brand new shock offline but when I went to return the shock they wanted to argue that there was nothing wrong with that shock... and said I will have to pay a restocking fee it wanted to return it..... so I decided to get a CV axle from them instead of me losing money.... once I got the CV axle home and put it on the car and test drove it around the block the CV axle is clanking when you turn... so once again sold me a bad part..... I know the parts are under a 30-day warranty but there will be no way I will keep driving 1 hour and a half round trip to return a part on top of stripping a car back down and putting it back together just to find out you may buy another bad part ...

Really not that good.Never will I ever buy anything from there again,if they were giving part's away I would absolutely refuse it.Wow the rudest person I have ever dealt with.WHAT A JERK OF COURSE THAT WAS 2YRS. AGO. NEVER BEEN BACK IN THAT PLACE AGAIN . I took someone there about 2 week's ago tried to warn her but didn't listen.Now she wished she had. Told you so!!!!

I am a AAA member and I broke down last night in Slidell! AAA send Modern Auto Wreckers to the rescue! They came from picayune and was there in about an hour. The driver was very nice and took extra care to make sure he didn t damage my car. I have a 1979 Lincoln which is very long and low so the back bumper could have scraped but he made sure to put something under the bumper to protect it! Great Job! Thanks
