They are by far the absolute best people you can ever meet. Very knowledgeable and people of faith. When I went there Mike and I talked for hour completely forgot about the car. We had an amazing conversation.

I cannot say enough about the staff at Mike's Dependable Auto. They got my AC fixed and new wipers in 1 day. They kept in touch with me all day and were extremely helpful. From now on, I'm a Dependable Auto customer, for life!!!

Went in to get a diagnostic on a car I had just purchased and Mike told me he couldn't do it because it would void any warranty I had.... Honesty, integrity, amazing and very helpful staff.... Best place in town for all your automotive needs!!!

I wouldn t take my vehicle anywhere else but here for repairs. My radiator needed to be replaced. They started working on it 8:00am and it was ready for pick up at 11:00am. They are a honorable repair shop and can be trusted!

They fixed the AC on my 2009 Grand Marquis today. They did a great job at a reasonable price and finished the work in a timely manner. Overall good experience!Edit: Took my trailblazer in to get diagnostics on a myriad of issues plus routine maintenance. Mike was very transparent about his recommendations and didn t try to get me to spend the most amount of money possible, which is rare in 2022. He also is great at explaining mechanical issues in terms that not so mechanically inclined people can understand, another rare trait in a mechanic/service owner. He honors his word and does a bang-up good job, I d recommend him and the team at dependable to anyone who wants a good service experience at a reasonable price!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Air conditioning, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Recent change of ownership of this business, the new owner is terrible and not people friendly. 2 weeks wait to make an appointment then Demanded $300 cash upfront before any inspection or work was done. They replaced my wifes Scion Tc's oil pan and I supplied all the parts. For $136. The name says it all. Dependable, and affordable. I will be taking it back for any other work.

Mike s automotive was super helpful with my car. I was driving from Philly to Texas and my car broke down. Mikes automotive helped fix my problems and the car was able to take me from New Orleans to Houston. I would recommend 1000%. Thank you Mike!

Great place honest guys. I went to one other place who couldn't see me for almost 2 weeks! These guys said bring your car in and we will look at it Friday. This was on Wednesday! I couldn't do without my car for 2 weeks with small children.

Made us feel like we were a burden to their time. Weren t willing to help get our car diagnosed and fixed, but took our money willingly enough!!! Didn t have the time to trouble shoot your car, but if you bring it back in a week or so we can maybe take it, he said. Completely dissatisfied! We were a returning customer over the years..

This was without a doubt the worst experience I have ever had at a mechanic shop. If I could give 0 stars I would. They charged me over $4,000 to replace an engine ion my Camry. The engine I got smokes (leaking valve seals) and was not installed correctly. Dependable left the air intake tube disconnected from the manifold. This cause the engine to run rough and it would idle without stalling so they loosened the air filer cover to make it SEEM to run properly. THIS caused the engine to run a little louder than normal and they tried to convince me that I had an after-marker exhaust on a car that I bought new and was positive that I had never had the exhaust modified at all. I drove the car home during which the check engine light came on (of course) then got out and after 2 minutes of checking saw the mess they had left and finished the job myself in another 10 minutes. About 8 months later the water pump went out and the mechanic I had fix that said the belt that dependable had put on was way to small and had put too much strain on the pump bearings causing to to wear out and start leaking. They said the engine had "about 100,000 miles on it". From the way it smokes when started and the general condition I would guess MUCH closer to 300,000.

Amazing service. 10 star quality. Very knowledgeable and helpful if you are unaware of what's going on with your vehicle. They will go beyond what normal auto shops to do and at a far more reasonable price.

No stars at all they lie when they give you a price. Then when there finished with your car it's more then what the quoted you the first time. Never recommended for any service

I called them shortly after 8 am, they said to bring it down. Within 2 hours they called about what the problem is and a price. Less than 2 hours later I picked it up. Plus they are AAA approved, so I got a discount!
