Every tire had cross treaded lugs.Studs also had to be replaced.Buyers beware

My truck now tries to fishtail and swerve when I hit 60 and steadily worse as I go faster. On the plus side, they had a set of tires that fit my large rims in stock. On the down side, service was VERY slow, despite getting there close to opening with an emergency tire replacement needed on my way to work. They told me I'd be next and probably about 30 minutes to get it back there. I was there for more than 3 hours for 2 overpriced and horrible tires that were in stock.

Stopped there today to get 4 tires mounted and balanced and they charged me double. They took 3 1/2 hours to mount 4 tires without saying what the price was going to be. I've been here several times and they have been fair and helpful. Today they ripped me off and I am not happy about it. When I called them they just said oh well that's what it is. I will never go back and I will make sure everyone I know knows about how they are from now on.

Wow... what an establishment. I am in town for the holidays and got a nail in the tire of my rental. The rental company gave me a list of companies that they are contracted with... Pep Boys, Firestone, Mavis and Discount Tire Center. I went to several of the locations in Slidell LA and not only were they unable to get me in, the customer service was down right horrible. (Side bar... so hard to find good customer service these days.) On my way back from Slidell LA, I had to stop in Picayune MS to pick up my dog from the groomer and ran across Gene's Tires. I stopped in and they told me they could fit me in within an hour. I came back in an hour and not only did they give excellent customer service but when I got ready to pay, the guy said take care and Happy New Year. I was completely surprised as that NEVER happens to me and definitely not these days. The guy said just make sure you come back for other services in the future. Although I'm not from here I told my family about the experience and Gene's is where my family will patronize from now on. Thank you for such a stress relieving experience.

In from out of town and front brakes started grinding. Went in and they were ready to fix it right then. I took it in the next morning and less then an hour had 2 new rotors and new brakes. And very well priced. Great place, .

You won t find a better tire shop in Picayune. They get the job done, reasonably priced, and have great customer service. They really make you feel like family! I won t buy tires anywhere else.

Reliable, fast service. Very competitive prices. Staff is excellent!! Always friendly and very knowledgeable. I have used them several times and have never been disappointed in my service. Awesome mechanics to cover almost anything you can bring in. These are my go to guys when I need help.

Excellent customer service. Help local businesses to remain open shop locally. Very helpful and very explanative. Following the CDC recommendations of social distancing wearing masks. Pleasantly surprisingly really good service. If you get a flat tire a low tire or any tire related questions they are more than happy to talk to you and give you any information they have on how to fix your problem. Don't hesitate to stop they are very friendly and are very willing to help you. Stay safe get vaccinated and wear masks and social distance until this pandemic is over. The light is at the end of the tunnel.

Brought a tire that was leaking at the valve stem and they took care of it, no charge - either it was an especially easy job because the tire was off the car already or they were feeling generous because it was the day after Thanksgiving, but regardless it was quite a positive experience. Quick and friendly service. Thanks!

Extremely disappointed in this location!! Came here because the tires I purchased at the Folsom location which I ve used for years, but moved are balding in the center of one, on the side of one, less than year old.I walk in was told shouldn t be but a few minutes 1 1/2 hrs later I m told oh it s hoing to be another 1 1/2 hrs!!!! This is something they could have been professional and kinda enough to mention. They also told same to the older man sitting next to me who had been there 2 hrs! Terrible service!

Both times I have been there the service was good. I had a small problem with some work they did and no questions asked took care of it. Also they gave me estimates on a.c., front end work, brakes at no charge. I will recommend them to my friends.

I was on I-10 when my tire started to lose air and pulled off into Picayune looking for a tire shop and found this place. I needed a patch and after inspection, the tire could not be repaired. The technician told me he had another tire in the back, same size, brand and model which was used and had about the same wear as my other tires. He asked me if I was ok with him putting the tire on my car and I approved it. Once it was mounted and balanced, he came into the waiting room and handed me my keys and told me to have a nice day...no charge! I couldn't believe it. My 3 year old son was with me and we were on our way to Tennessee. He knew we were trying to get somewhere and took time out of his day to accommodate us very quickly. I am very grateful of this nice tech, the tire shop and their expediency. Thank you so much!

These guys ordered my tires and installed them same day. I'm truly grateful for their service. Price was right in line with most and at the end of the day my vehicle is safer because of them. Thanks guys!

I was out of town and I called them to let them know that my wife's air conditioner went out in her Toyota 4Runner. At the busiest time of the day Paul told me to send her in. She immediately went there within the hour and they did a complete evacuate and freon recharge. My wife didn't have the money on her to pay because she was not expecting to pay for air conditioner repairs that day. So she told The man at the desk to call me so I can give them payment. he told her don't worry about it and the next time you need tires come and see me. That right there is upright stand up service to help a woman with three children out when it is over 100 outside and the air conditioner goes out. And also not to harass about payment but no we are good returning customers.

Dropped my car off for an oil change at 2:00 on a Friday. Said they d do it that day and call us when complete. Well it is 4:50 and we went to check on it doors are locked and can t contact anyone and they have my car key. They are closed over weekend. Closes at 5 . I m a college student and the key they locked inside had my license and dormitory key attached to it. Didn t even call us to let us know that they couldn t get to it, just left the car outside and locked my keys inside the building. Awful. Not happy.

The Team at Gene's Tire Picayune is Top Notch. Their Automotive Mechanics are the Best in Picayune and their Prices are Hard to Beat. When I need Mechanical Work Done on my Vehicles, Gene's is my First Choice. I've NEVER had a Bad Experience here in the 10+ year's I've used them. Not to Mention that they carry Tires in just about Any Price Range.

Had a double blow out on a trailer on 59 SB. Not only did the folks here have the correct tire, but they put had it installed onto tge rim and had me back on my way in 10 minutes. Price was fair as well. Definitely recommend!

I took my car to genes on a friday. I told them it had problems idling. They were done at noon. They charged me almost 200$ for a front right hub berring and a fuel flush. I called back because my car wasnt fixed and i never needed a new hub( i gave them the benefit of the doubt about the fuel flush). They said bring it back tuesday and i did. They didnt get to it again untill that friday. When asked what was wrong they replied" just a little dirt on the idle sensor. Well....my car is still having problems with idling....keep the 200$ gene, im swapping mechanics.

Saviors in my book! Was 1500 miles from home and blew out a tire on the interstate. They were able to get a matching tire for my truck, install it and change my oil. Great bunch of guys! Thank you!

Took my car into Picayune location for valve cover gasket replacement and repace plugs and coils.Had misire on cyl. 1. They informed me they broke 2 bolts and was drilling and replacing. After paying they told me there was still a misife. Another mechanic found that they did not replace broken bolts.

Brought my car in, told them it shakes bad past 55. They changed the brakes and rotors and said it was fine. Still can't go past 55. Horrible.
