These guys are good people. They care about there customers. When I agreed to the quote, it seams as if I become a family member. Then shortly after, fire works went off and a grand celebration commenced. Haha. They did a great job for a better than fair price. When the work was complete, they asked me to stop by from time to time to say hello. This "Big men are sexy too" photo says a lot about the quality of people they are, not to mention the light heartened atmosphere. Don't hesitate to do business with these guys. You'll be fine in the end.

I broke down with hub and wheel issues they came and was very quick about repairs had to go get a hub and drum for me good folks good mechanic know what their doing will be glad to call them again. Don't hesitate to call them you won't be sorry

I had a minor problem with steering. No one else around would help/or had time to help me out. this small shop helped me out at a very reasonable price.

I was really impressed by these people. They were down to earth and genuine. They were very helpful in a bad situation and emergency. They were actually booked up and overwhelmed with work but the owner reached out to another shop and got me help and going on my way. I actually thought I was stranded at the time. I highly recommend this business

As a owner operator and small business owner building relationships is very important. T.L.Saunders Trucking has definitely made a lifelong partnership with Gulf Coast Truck & Trailer Repair Inc. as a own operator keeping my trucks healthy is important to being successful in this industry. Hauling hazardous materials safety was always most important. I was coming out of Virginia going to Houston Texas and I got to Mississippi and notice that I had a problem after inspecting one of my berries look bad in my rear axle and I happen not to be too far from gulf coast. I pulled in and was immediately greeted by the owners nephew. The owner actually came out Sam and looked at my problem. He then Stated, I have everything that you need to get you back on the road and making money. Within 5 min I was backed up to the door and they immediately started working it actually only took them roughly about two hours to have everything tore down and put back together. Very professional this is a family oriented business which I love and the work was done correctly with a fair price I highly recommend.Services: Transmission, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Oil change

4:30 pm on a Monday, stuck on the side of I10 and Gulf Coast Truck and Trailer answered the phone! They came to us, after hours and worked to get us where we could drive our 40 foot Allegra Bus and Trailer to the shop, solved our brake issue and allowed us to stay on their lot for the night. Great service and communication throughout.Service: Brakes

Great people at gulf coast, quality work and great prices. If you need work on your truck or trailer, come by and see Sam and they will take care of you. I'll be returning to his shop for any work I need done.

Timely response.Good mechanic.I feel that I was overcharged though.Mechanic showed up without common sized (1/2 ID) rubber hoses on the service truck.I was charged considerably an extra amount for the mileage and hourly rate for mechanic to go get a 1 ft section of rubber hose and return.Service trucks normally carry common parts (hoses) onboard Total bill was $780 to replace a 1 ft. section of 1/2 rubber hose along with 4 gallons of coolant and I was only 22 miles from their repair shop ..BUT, they got me back on the road!

We used these guys for the first time today. I had 2 trucks go down. First was an air leak and the second truck had a level control valve go out. The response time was fast and mechanic found the issue almost immediately. Called before I came, drove 45 miles and then they said couldn't do it with a attitude after telling they could on the phone. If everyone else is backed up for days and weeks and they can take it the next day thats a sign sam has a reputation of doing bad work and lying to his customers.

We had an after hours emergency with our RV tow hitch. Someone got to us within an hour and sorted out the issue within 15 minutes. Our mechanic was kind and didn't laugh out our rookie mistake. Took two stars away for the absolute rip off in that we were charged $270 for 15 minutes of work (literally all he had to do was undo two bolts) and a 1 mile round trip drive. The price was absolutely ridiculous but we had no choice given the situation. If these guys would cool it on over charging they would absolutely have 5 stars. Thanks! (But my wallet hates you!)Editing to say that the owner (I assume) called me today to tell me I had been overcharged! They refunded me $50 over the phone and apologised for the inconvenience. If they hadn't done that I never would have followed up. I take it all back, these are good, honest people!!

I had a great experience here. Sam got me right in the shop. They replaced my trailer airbag in an hour and a half. That included going to get the bag. Great service at a fair price. Great bunch of guys here.

Brought in a semi truck for a clutch replacement and was assured by Sam he had done a countless number of them. Three and half months later I had complete mechanical failure. When I returned to confront Gulf Coast Truck & Trailer I was pointed to the top of the receipt that said 90 day warranty . I am absolutely appalled that a shop would not stand by such expensive work, but what can you expect from shade tree mechanics. Completely unprofessional, considering the money dropped there. Reconsider your options Mississippi.* Edit: Just found out I m having to replace an entire AC system that Gulf Coast put in along with leaking water and air lines. Absolute third rate mechanics!I can assure you all 5 star ratings are from friends#SadSam

Sent a truck in to have an air bag repaired. While the shop rate was fair at $95/hour and they got us in and out in a timely manner, they are a typical interstate operation. Had to pay $236.00 for a $150.00 air bag and a $35/ parts run on top of it. nothing like a 65% mark up. I would have been better off if they charged a $150/hour shop rate, but I am sure they knew that and assumed I was too dumb to know that $236 for that air bag is highway robbery.I would also like to add that apparently my $35.00 parts run included a trip to McDonalds for 1 or more employees. AWESOME.

If I could give these people and their mechanic no stars - I would. It took their mechanic 8.5 hours to change a wheel seal and adjust breaks. Do no use these people. The job should have taken only taken 3 hous at the most. The book hour hours on a job like this is 2. AND they charges us sales tax on the whole bill not just the parts. These people are crooks. They are ripping people off on the road because they can. We were basically charged double the cost.

I have work Done here from time to time Sam is the owner and one hell of a great guy he's a straight shooter and really fairly priced and they do great work...I highly recommend this shop to anyone and everyone

This shop was such a blessing I just purchase my truck & was headed home having alternator issues I called them at around 6am just to call didn't expect an answer nice lady answered & told us to bring it up slept 2 hours in front of the bay soon as they open they got me in addressed all my issues & I was back rolling I really appreciate shops like this (Thanks Sam) (Black Flattop)
