Was returning back to school in Columbia Missouri coming back from a job interview in New Orleans when I unfortunately broke down. Called Reliable Auto Services and Randy told me to bring it down for him to see what they can do. Called me a couple hours later diagnosing the issue and let me know that he had to ship in a tensioner that will be there in the morning. Called that morning and the staff let me know that they were going to get me back on the road before lunch. 11:00 came and my vehicle was fixed to start making the drive back. Big thanks to the people here as they were extremely efficient, honest and respectful people. Would highly recommend their services!

The staff and service far exceeded my expectations, raising the bar to a new level. Staff was friendly and courteous, very professional, and highly skilled/knowledgeable. The work was top-notch and faster than other shops. They are also willing to do custom work at request, including, with a disclaimer, doing the best possible with parts preexisting on vehicles. One prior experience when funds were tight involved a front-end alignment, which would've been best to replace certain parts, but due to lack of funds, we couldn't afford that. They were able to make it make due, and later, we came back for the replacement of parts and a proper alignment. Their willingness and ability to work with the customers is a big part of what sets them apart. Now, as they've begun to offer financing in-house, they are hands down the best option when it comes to your automotive needs of all sorts, including their towing service, which operates 24/7.Highly recommended!

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE WAS THE WORST I HAVE EXPERIENCED AT A MECHANIC SHOP!!!!I took my dad's truck there for air suspension repair and oil change. When I dropped off the truck the wheels were fine but when I picked it up the wheels were squealing. I took it back and they informed me that my front brakes were worn. Ok that was fine. I called my dad so that he could speak with them about the issue and the guy Randy was rude and very disrespectful. While my father was talking he cuts my dad off and states "You are intelligent enough to know this didn't happen overnight. So do you want to get them fixed or not." My dad and I were both insulted and at that point I made the decision that they would not lay another finger on my fathers truck. I will never take any one of our vehicles back to this establishment nor do I recommend it to anyone.Services: Steering & suspension replacement, Oil change

For many automotive needs, this is the only game in town. Randy is an excellent service manager and friendly and knowledgeable. You can find cheaper prices, but the work is always good. However, David at the front counter has been rude to me several times, often condescending, and never friendly. I don't know how he keeps his job at the front desk. If it weren't for that, I would give the business five stars.

While everyone at Reliable was very courteous and knowledgeable- they missed the boat on finished product. They ordered the exact tires I wanted for my car and they arrived in a timely manner. But after spending $1,000 dollars for new tires my hub caps were covered in grease and handprints as well as was a missing the center cover on cap.I will most likely use Reliable in the future but quality control counts!Service: Tires

I would suggest going to a different repair shop if your vehicle is having issues. First off they started doing repairs without calling me. Second, on my bill I was charged for coolant but the following day I check the radiator and it was low. It wasn't leaking, they did fix that. I had to add about a 1/4 to fill it up. And to top my experience off, they steal my safety goggles I had in the back set. I'm surprised they did take the clipboard too lol

Yesterday's visit was to enquire about possible service of my vehicle. I was directed to a window to speak with whom I suppose was the service manager. This was my second time having to speak with him regarding an issue. He does not have a great customer service personality. Both encounters with him were negative with him telling me what he couldn't do as opposed to trying to find a solution to my problem. There are too many places that offer the same services that have nice people who appreciate your business and value you as a longstanding customer for me to continue to patronize this business.

These guys are a life saver. I had a my rear transmission shaft seal replaced and it was very affordable compared to other shops i called. They we're professional and polite and explained everything to me. I appreciate everything and I will definitely come back for any other issue's my vehicle has. I highly recommend Reliable Auto Services.

I purchased four new tires from them. Shortly afterwards, the two rear tires continuously lost air but there was no damage to them. I went back to Reliable Auto Services, and they supposedly fixed everything but told me that some "beads" were not right in my wheels causing the problem. Now one still loses air. I have spent tens of dollars in quarters keeping my tire filled. Do they expect customers with a fifteen-year-old car to have to buy new wheels when they get new tires?Service: Tires

I've taken various cars I've had to them over the years. One time something was messed up, they fixed right away and it was just a tire stud. I've gotten mower tires, atv tires, and car tires here at fair prices compared to most shops. I can't tell you how many thousands of $ my family and I have spent here. Never had an issue. It's family owned and the Harrington's are always super nice and use our names and ask how family has been. There's no reason not to come here if you need work.Don't take your car here for an oil change if you expect to be done in 15 minutes. That's not what they advertise. But I take it here cause they do it right. That matters more to me. They'll even vacuum your floorboards out! They know the business. If you need work done, they call with an estimate and wait for permission to proceed. Best shop in town with knowledgeable mechanics.

5/1/21, I took a vehicle , that I previously had put new tires on and had alignment checked, to "Un" Reliable for an alignment and tire rotation because the vehicle was going a long trip and I had recently hit a large pothole. 1st. of all I empathically insisted the vehicle be locked at any time it was not in their shop. They asked for a contact number, and I gave them my cell # and advised I would have with at all times. I never heard back from them so after several hours I called them. They advised me they could not do the alignment because all ball joints and control arms were bad and needed replacement. They quoted an estimate of $1511.08. I advised them I would pick the vehicle up.When I returned to "un"reliable, I found the vehicle in the parking lot, "unlocked". When I ask why they had not called me, I was told they did not know I had given my cell#. When I ask why the vehicle was not locked, they could not tell me why. of course one of the owners did apologize. Then they presented me with a charge of $53.19 for the estimate, which I felt was unreasonable but since they were holding my key "hostage" I paid the charge. Two reason I picked the vehicle up, (1), I have the experience, the knowledge, the time, the shop space, the necessary shop equipment and tools to preform any repairs needed. And (2) the parts I was told were defective had recently been checked and they were good at that time. I called a local competitor of their"s and asked what they would charge to inspect the front end and give me an estimate and was told there would be no charge. I took the vehicle to them and did not tell them it had been to "un"reliable.and I strongly advised them to check the front end very closely and report anything that prevent they from doing an alignment. A short time they called "my cell#" and advised there was no issues with the front end and the alignment was preformed. When I told them about my experience with "un"reliable, they just shook their head and said "we don't do business that way". If the folks at "un"reliable were "lying" or "grossly incompetent", I do not know. But I thought if I were in the owner's shoes, I would want to know about this incident, when I returned the following day to "un"reliable and spoke with one of the owners, I found out just how wrong I was. I will soon be seventy years old and I have never met a "business owner" that was as vulgar as he was, that has more contempt for customers as he, that made outlandish accusations against me or called me a liar, that has as little concern for customer property as he does. When I advised that I was a mechanic and knew how to check ball joints, he called me a lair. He defended his employees by the weakest of excuses. He said that if a mechanical part was defective or not, was a matter of "opinion", which any mechanic will tell you a mechanical part is either defective or not is based on "facts" and not "opinions".It has been said "a liar thinks everybody lies, a thief thanks everybody steals and a cheat thinks everybody cheats. And corruption runs downhill and not uphill. I left him with a simple truth, "I can live with ywhat you done to me and you will have to live with your conscience." But as 1st Timothy 4:2 tells us, not everyone has a conscience.I spoke to one of the owners on two separate times and he had plenty to offer a resolution to my complaint but failed to do so instead accused me of "trying to set him up!" I still have no idea what he meant by that ridiculous statement. If his response indicated he did not know about or he would have attempt to resolve the issue, "it ain't so."If you place any value on your automobile, the contents of the automobile or your pocket book, take to a trustworthy shop and not to "un"reliableService: Wheel alignment

I recently purshased a vehicle from here for a great deal. Had an issue but the staff got on it as fast as they could to get me back going again. They were even nice enough to give me a loaner vehicle to make it by on. So if your in the area and want great service from the pros or just to get a great deal on a new used ride, then these are the folks to come see for sure.

I gave 3 stars because I was satisfied with the service of what I needed done to my car but when I got in my car I very unsatisfied. My trunk was up , when I dropped my car off , my tire pressure light came on and when I picked my car up someone had rode in my car and the low tire pressure light was still on. Someone rambled through my glove box and my dash console. My work box cutter was moved. My Bible and note book was in my glove box . My car runs better and the air control panel works. I was just unsatisfied with the way they handled my vehicle.

Please do not waste your time or money at this business. The prices are double that of most auto service stores in the count, they provide a timeline for when your car will be finished and it takes nearly five times longer (even simple oil changes take longer and our vehicle was there before they opened with an appt.), their customer service is abysmal to say the least, and they bring your vehicle back with half the jobs UNFINISHED! This was the worse experience we have ever had, and I hate that they were recommend to us.

Will not be back, they are not reliable. Studs broke on my way to town, so i was there at 4:30 because of a emergency with my rim and the truck was not in drivable conditions, and they said they didn't have time and might not have the parts. I understand that they close at 5 but did not even offer to look at it in the shop to see if it could be fixed. So myself a female was left there after dark, until my husband could come get me. don't sound very reliable!!!

True to their name, they are definitely reliable. If you don't know how to fix it, bring it here. You just tell them what's wrong, give them your keys and go home with a friend. They'll call you either a few hours or a few days later telling you what's wrong, give you a price and then call you again when it's fixed.Just don't bring them something with 1,000,000 miles on it and a rust coat and expect cheap service.

These guys are top-notch. I live in New Orleans and had my car serviced at Ray Brandts Hyundai in Harvey. After about two months on my way to Memphis, my car begins shaking violently with the engine light flashing. I yell at my phone that I need a mechanic. Phone leads my dying car to the next exit and into Reliable's lot. I was pretty nervous about the situation until I began reading the reviews for them on google which eased my mind a bit. Once I'm back in NOLA, Reliable calls and gives me a detailed explanation of what had happened. During the $1,617.51 for all new ignition coils, the dealership mechanic failed to properly install the ignition coil for cylinder 3. Reliable quoted a very fair price to fix the issue and input the detailed explanation into the statement per my request. I had to take a day off from work, board a 2-hour train to McComb and walk two miles to get my car back, but honestly if that's what it takes to get my car fixed the right way, the first time, at a fair price by honest and competent people then that's well-worth the effort. I can see myself going to them in the future regardless of the hassle it is to get there from New Orleans.

This has been my "Go To" shop for nearly 20 years. I get great service at a fair price. Even if you don't need service, you should stop in just to see the Car Part Artwork. Very elaborate and original.

After bringing my vehicle to have two tires changed in the back I asked them to keep The old tires When I Got home I found that the two Rims that they changed the tires out on Were scratched up right on the edge And one of the old. tires were cut on the inside lip Therefore I strongly discourage anybody that cares about their vehicles tires and rims to come here.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Nice place and people Used to get tires there all the time BUT came in one day to get oil changed and I was asking about some tires for my highlander, guy gave me card saying he can get me some tires a lot cheaper that what is on there and same quality, well 2 weeks later I went back to get tires and "Oh ma'am we don't have the tires you are asking for" REALLY! So I dug in my purse found the card the guy wrote on and BOOM! Got my tires! Guy said he didn't remember saying that!

I had my 2004 f150 4.6liter triton tuned up, which was long overdue 109,000 mi. A local dealer gave an estimate of $650 or $1250. Anyone that knows engines the triton can be a nightmare changing plugs. Anyway I'm very happy with the tune up.Truck runs fine. The tune up only cost $475, so I had them repair both rear doors that I could not open for $190. Im very pleased.
