Definitely will not be stopping here again unless it's only for McDonald's. They have the rudest most racist females working the counter. I mean you want to be racist that's on you but you're at work being rude and nasty to someone that is being more than polite is just childish. Got me once never again

Horrible Employee ! An African American Male Employee that s middled age was mopping the floors leading to the public restrooms just got through shouting at me while I was using the restroom in the women s bathroom it was horrible!!!!! He was mad because I had to use the restroom. He was not professional at all and I don t appreciate being scalded to use the restroom. He said it would be a hot minute . What ever that meant! Don t go here unless you want to be yelled while in the bathroom.

Double Quick convenience store in Leland Mississippi is part of a very major truckstop on Highway 61 - The Blues Highway .It is very handy to the highway and very well located - right in the middle of the Mississippi delta, between Clarksdale (which calls itself the birthplace of the blues ) and Natchez, which recently was rated one of the best cities in the country to live - for all classes, not just for affluent people.I also am especially interested in stopping by the national forest and a swampland just about 40 miles south of here. I am a Midwesterner, 18 years ago transplanted to the Blue Ridge Mountains. I don t think I ve ever seen an actual honest-to-God swamp.The store is bright and clean, with broad aisles. It has most of the conveniences of a major truckstop except maybe showers for the truckers.When I stopped by the cash register to ask the three cashiers there if I could use their hot water and microwave to fix my oatmeal in my cup, they were very friendly and welcoming - and pointed me to the hot water and the microwave.To my surprise, one of them - Shavonda, an attractive forty-something black woman with bright red hair piled up on her head - followed me over to the microwave and proceeded to take charge of all details of fixing my oatmeal.This went so far behind any level of customer service I had ever experienced that I just stood in amazement and delight.The store was well staffed at this moment, the morning rush was over - and I think Shavonda just has such strong customer service instincts that she couldn t stop herself from using her free time to give me extra service.I said to her Shavonda, it s been a long time since I ve had a woman make breakfast for me. She thought this was funny and we just chatted about the state of the world and especially about how the rich people in this country seem to have no care for the poor people.I have experienced some lousy customer service in our year and a half of travel - and some very wonderful customer service. But this was definitely the first time I have had a cashier fix breakfast for me - and entertain me with very interesting and intelligent conversation about what is going on in the world.Shavonda definitely goes into my customer service Hall of Fame. I encourage you to stop by this store.

It says it's open 24 hours but not tonight!!apparently this employee thinks taking the trash out is more important. He told my wife store is closed until he gets his work done. But the front door is open.

after a long day of driving i stopped to get a cup of coffee just to get here and see everything looks open and operating but no one here at the door. no signs posted. online it states it's a 24 hour location but yet no one is here.

Chris was awesome, in helping and answering every question I needed to ask. Wish we could take him back to the truck stops in West Memphis Arkansas. He would definitely teach some of the employees there a thing or two about working with public people and how they should treat and respect there customers. Chris ur real.

I have been to the location numerous times in the past few months. In the evening there is nearly always an African American male who operates the register. He nearly always shows more hospitality to African American customers than me a white customer. One of my most recent visits he range me up and walked off before my transaction was complete. I walked out the door and yelled thank you and the female employees yelled thank you. I came back tonight and the same male employees was there. He says hello and welcome to double quick etc.. I say I am good and how are you doing in an equal tone and he refused to respond as he always does when I check out. Tonight I told him if he did it again I would report him. He raised his voice and argued with me over said topic. I repeated numerous times I refuse to be treated differently due to my skin color as I had seen him numerous times interact with people of African decent with more hospitality. He yelled at me asking what my problem was and I yelled as such through the front door that I did not want like him treating me different due to my skin color. I have had numerous experiences with this man and I blew them mostly off as maybe he knew the person in front of me and it quickly became obvious he simply either is treating me differently due to my race or some other reason. Either way this particular employee does not reflect the spirit of double quick.

This is a really nice truck stop. It's very clean. There's not alot of parking but you can park overnight. They have plenty of snack to choose from inside and a McDonald's next door.

It's 2:24am and the store is closed. I asked the cashier what time will it be back open and I was told he didn't know what time he will have it open cause he is working alone and had to get his work done. We sat there 45min and besides us only 1 other customer pulled in so why would you have to closed down to get your work done

Stopped at this store last week. I lived in Leland in the 60s then was back in the 70s where I had 2 of my children. My first visit since 1980. The little place has grown and what really touched my heart is the same old-fashioned hospitality and kindness of yesteryear. Sweet young Katina Williams was every bit professional with a whole lot of heart showing in her eyes. It was a wonderful continuation of my trip home to Mississippi and I would wholeheartedly recommend this location. GOD BLESS Katina and Double Quick. GOD BLESS Leland. GOD BLESS Mississippi and GOD BLESS AMERICA!! Thank y'all.

Just awful. I drove through here at around midnight and the service is absolutely awful. My girlfriend was just standing outside the car by the gas station waiting for me to return from McDonald's. The lady inside yelled at her to pay for the gas. She didnt even do anything. As for my McDonald's experience, which is next to the gas station, it was just as awful. When ordering, the woman had an angry and rude tone in her voice. When I was trying to confirm my order, she talked to me as if I was a child. Once confirmed, I swipted my card and she walked away. I stood there waiting for her to accept the payment on her machine. When she turned back and faced me, she glared at me and rudely asked if I had swiped my card. They're all so rude, even a man behind me called the whole team out on their rude behavior but this didn't change anything. The cheap gas, cleanliness, and it being well lit was the only decent thing about this place.

Great location so this store generates a lot of business. The Double Quick chain of stores never disappoints. Well trained staff & friendly! They are quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with in the Mississippi Delta & Arkansas Delta.

Asked for a slush and 2 packs of cigarettes. The lady behind the counter just looked at me, walked off a bit, and started gossiping to the other cashier about customers in the parking lot. Highly professional. Wont be back.

Ah, if you are after a cold drink, something fast to eat, or a hot beverage...this is THE place to stop and get it. And, hey while you are there, try the White Chocolate Cappuccino, and from then on it'll become your favorite hot beverage.

Growing the Delta: one of the benefits of the upgrades to the highway system (US 61, 82, 49...etc),. Is the community growth and development that it generates for some of the small towns along these stretches of highway. This new Double Quick not only provides something to the road warriors but is generating revenues for the community that it resides in - Leland, MS. Giving the Delia's smaller communities the opportunity to continue to grow and prosper is what needs to continue to happen as the state invests in it's infrastructure. This particular store was a refreshing quick in and out for a couple of items and fuel. It has one of my places I seek out when traveling built into it - McD's which I a plus when there's no Dunkin' around! The layout of the facility is amenable to the professional drivers with ample separate fueling units and parking on the East side of the building. spotted a Wally rig pulling out just as I arrived With the holiday traffic coming up soon, it's necessary to figure out ahead of time your key stopping points and validate fuel prices as they tend to fluctuate from small towns verses metropolitan with the small towns (non-remote) providing the most savings. This one was definitely a good choice.

Brand new, great stop to be able to pull in quick on a truck route with barely any truck stops to grab some grub and roll. Very clean, only 5 or so spots for trucks to park though.

Nice and clean. ..McDonald's closed at 10pm so I had to settle for a hot dog. ..they were out of coffee in morning. ..had to ask someone to make and wait

Same hot dogs for food. Says no over night parking... A few places in the back we parked anyway. Staff was ok. Not real friendly not rude.

I'm sorry but diesel pumps that shut off every 100 bucks are worthless. Why you even have semi islands and then set them up like that is beyond me. To fill up you have to go in and pay like 5 times. Like I said worthless.

Lights were on place says 24 hrs but doors were locked after standing out front for 10 mins a clerk tells me thru the door that they were closed due to an issue and nothing seemed wrong from the outside

Card at pump didn't work so I went in and the clerk hollered DON'T COME IN WITHOUT A MASK I said I didn't have 1 they both just stood there looking at me so I left
