I've did business with them for 20 years and their prices has went up but the quality of the work has went . You pay dealership price for labor but you get shade tree work.

If you really want your car fixed!!!! Please don t visit or waste your time with this place! They don t value long time customers! They find a away to charge you for any and everything! To replace a sensor is $300 with them! I don t see how their still open for business! They are literally robbing people! He uses zip ties on people cars!

In April 2015, I flew from New Mexico to Tampa to buy a car and drive it back. I arrived in Jackson, MS right before 5pm on Friday evening and stopped for gas. Lo and behold, the lever to open the door to the gas cap quit working - that's where Searcy Auto comes in.I pulled up as they were closing down, very panicked since I couldn't waste any time on the road and I didn't want to have to stay until Monday just to get serviced. Once the mechanic understood my situation, he jumped right to it. Even though there was no time to fully fix the problem, he quickly found a way to open the door to the gas cap thereby allowing me to fill up with gas and continue my trip. I was so relieved and asked him what I owed, but he had the good grace to leave it be. He even refused a $20 tip, despite me gratefully insisting he more than earned it. I cannot overstate his helpfulness and am still thankful to this day.This shop is a little out of the way, but would recommend it to anyone looking for a mechanic with honesty and integrity.
