The manager, Joe, was very professional, and seemed to enjoy his job. He was very transparent, necessary provided information and options, and knew how to handle several customers at a time. He continued to check with the service technicians to ensure timely completion of jobs. He offered the best customer service I ve had in most instances. I got reasonable prices on my tires and that was a plus in addition to quick service.

My complaint with this company is not because of regular bad service, But today I asked for my car to be parked outside, and I paid for the service. I spoke with the manager, asking them to hold the key and park the vehicle outside so I can retrieve my vehicle for me to have for use. The manager said I could come back and get my key tomorrow because I have one to get in my truck. My instructions were not followed, and I am now locked out of the store, which is closed and I m also without a vehicle stranded at night time until I can get a ride in Jackson Mississippi. I am very disappointed in the mishandling of my request February 2024.The reason I go back:Mr. Alex the front desk morning lead open the doors early to hear my concerns. He also reviewed the notes before jumping into action, getting my vehicle back together, as well as reviewing a possible issue. I m very grateful and appreciative for the way yesterday problem was corrected.Hate bad apples on the team but it s apart of life it would seem

Very professional, came in and needed service and didn t expect for them to have me ready the same day. Especially for what I needed done. Four new tires at a great price and alignment!!!

Jabri, the manager was professional and very honest about the work needed to be done . He went out of his way to make sure I understood all he was explaining to me. He kept me updated and informed thru the entire process. I truly appreciate his time and effort.

I am always treated well at this Firestone. They never yry to sell me anything extra. But do make suggestions. They never gouge the price. I always feel well cared for at this location.

A long review, but a necessary read if you consider using this business.I have been here several times. I am familiar with their exceedingly long wait times for oil changes (I typically drop my car off in the early afternoon and return the following day). This has not been anything more than an inconvenience until recently. After my second-most-recent oil change at Firestone, I noticed my vehicle was shaking badly at certain speeds after I picked it up - something that it had not done in the past. I suspected that they did not properly balanced my tires or something like I had asked, so I took it back and had them inspect it. They claimed nothing was wrong so I just decided to move on since my vehicle was older, anyway. I felt as though they had done some sort of damage that I couldn t see, but it was still functioning without any other noticeable issue.Fast forward to this previous weekend (September 30). I dropped my car off again for an oil change and was told it would be ready the following day. BIG mistake on my behalf. Sunday evening rolls around and I call Firestone to see if my car was ready. They explain to me that they couldn t crank my car so they hadn t done anything to it yet. This is an issue that I have had with them every single time, and I typically end up going to Firestone and cranking it for them since they can t figure it out themselves. The vehicle was older and requires a bit of force when turning the key. This agitated me because I was without a car all weekend and needed my car to drive to work, so I explained to them I would be there Monday morning to pick my car up and I would just drop it off again the following weekend. Well, after I picked my car up I noticed it was making a loud sound that it was not making previously. Being that I work full time, I couldn t do anything about it at the moment. I finally get home from work and my car died in the middle of the driveway. I look to see what could have caused this and find out that ALL of the oil had been drained from my car, thus my engine has been destroyed. I go to Firestone and explain what happened. They claim they never touched it (which is a lie) and that they won t even offer to at least tow my car. Very, very disappointed to know that this is how they treat long-time customers. This affects people s livelihood and their ability to feed families. Now I am having to purchase another form of transportation that I truthfully cannot afford at the moment. Do not EVER, under ANY circumstances, EVER spend your time or money at this Firestone. Read the other reviews and listen. While there might be the occasional decent experience, it is not worth risking something that could end up costing you thousands of dollars. Take your money elsewhere, please! If it is an absolute emergency and you HAVE to take your vehicle to this location, make sure you check your vehicle THOROUGHLY before you even enter it. This is by far the worst place I have ever been to. I would leave 0 stars if it was an option.Service: Oil change

I had a slow leak in one of my tires, so I took the car into Firestone, because they had done tire work for me before. I didn't have an appointment, so it took three hours. I understand that people with appointments come first. I get that. I was told that the puncture was in the sidewall, so they replaced the tire. The quality of work was excellent. I don't know about the price, because the car rental company paid for it. Firestone billed them directly. Not a big fan of the wait time, but what are you going to do? I used the wait time to listen to an audiobook, so the time passed quickly. I will use this Firestone again.

8-27-23I was at this place at 750am. I was the first one in. I needed a oil change. The guy asked if I was going to wait. Yes. There veered 3 guys on the floor. At 9am nothing had been done. There were other people who came in after me. They would do whatever they asked, check tires, air up tires ect. The worst experience I have ever experienced at a car service store. I guess he recognized me from not being from the Jackson area. Glad they don t run businesses like this in Alabama!!!

I needed help with something while on the road with my baby a few weeks ago. Even though I didn t know exactly how to describe what I was asking for they took me seriously and quickly gave me the help I needed, which I really appreciated.

Weekend one. (Two Saturdays ago)Went in, took over four hours for one tire. They said they'd have the rest of the tires the next weekend.Weekend two. (Last Saturday)Went in, told it would take an hour. Over four hours later... One tire replaced.They hadn't ordered the ones they committed to.Asked them to bleed my brakes while it was in the air. They charged me $79.99 for a brake fluid flush that they didn't do. They overfilled the reservoir as well. Picture of old discolored fluid in reservoir for reference.Also asked for a lifetime alighnment before walking around the shopping center.They left me a voicemail telling me my tie rod end was bad, it's less than a year old, I replaced it myself. It's fine.They also left me a voicemail telling me my wheel knuckle was bad. I can only assume they mean my wheel bearing assembly because the knuckle is a solid piece of cast iron with no moving parts and it's not broken.I will not be returning.

Yall Alex and Russell are it! We were just driving through, and our ac started to die. We have 5 kids and less than an hour. When everywhere else turned us down on a Saturday afternoon, they went above and beyond! Oh lord! They guys took care of us. We are from nw arkansas and just had the vehicle looked out before we left. Russell went above and checked our whole car and found that We were low on oil! Alex's customer service was beyond great. We laughed the whole time. Great men work here! God bless them for taking care of us and our family.

They were very professional and friendly. They did an excellent job on my car. They were very prompt doing the repair work. I would recommend them for doing any repairs on your car. They treated me with respect and they are very fair in their prices.

I was pleased only with the customer service and the store in Brandon. The store pearl or flowood not sure which, Definitely wasn't pleased they seemed a little shiesty

I was trying to buy tires on 03/02/2023 around 6:25-6:30pm. The prices were kind of high but as I was walking outside to talk to my children father on what we deciding to do. I notice the mechanic and the dude at the front desk were laughing at me. I do not see anything funny about having two flat tires and I also have 2 small children in the car with me as well. Then I decided to just leave but then the mechanic came outside yellling Get out the car, Get out the car to my children father. Of course my children father will be upset because he seen when the mechanic was pointing and laughing at us. Making threats to their dad. So my children father will respond back to threats. I told my children father that it is not worth it and we will go somewhere else. Very unprofessional and I will never come back ever again. This is not how you treat customers!

Would give 4 stars but the wait time was awful. We got there around 11 and didn't leave til after 5. Pandemic has gotten everything backed up. But I'd rather you not accept business you can't handle in good timing. I have no complaints about the work they did though. And it was clean inside not like other tire places.

I needed to be at work by 10am. Phillip told me he could get me there on time. They did a great job and got me out with time to spare. Also gave me a deal because I unexpectedly needed 2 tires instead of 1. Great place.

Horrible. I had a flat fixed on a Friday. We noticed a foam around the tire. Saturday and Sunday I had to put air in my supposedly fixed tire. Sunday we arrived and it was a 3-4 hour wait according to one of the technicians. We chose not to wait or leave my vehicle. Monday was a holiday (closed). Tuesday after work, we explained to the assistant manager we had to put air in the tire since Saturday morning. We were told by the tech he misjudged the size of the hole on the tire. The tire was repaired afterwards hopefully the right way.

I brought my 2014 toyota 4runner up here today (10/04/2022). I requested an oil change, front and rear brakes, and tire rotation. After paying and receiving my car I noticed my oil light was still on and no new sticker on windshield. I drive the vechile home as the store was getting close to closing. I cleared my service light and checked the oil. It wasn't changed, still dark in color. Crawled under the car and noticed zero marking on the lower pan bolts to remove the cover to change the filter. The rain plug still was covered in mud with no signs of it ever being removed. I have been in the automotive field with 12 years and have worked for firestone before in the pass. I know the tell tell signs of when parts have been removed or taken off. In this case the only job that was performed was the brake service and possibly the tire rotation. Would I recommend this place probably not. If you go here I highly recommend checking over their work. Now we have to make another 30 min drive back to this location tomorrow.Services: Tires, Brakes, Brake service & repair, Oil change

I wish I could give a zero rating. I set an appointment for 7am the previous day. I made it there at 645. I was the first car there and one of the workers was inside counting money. I advised him that my appointment was at 7am. I work 45 minutes away and had to get off work early to make it. I went across the street to work out and by 745 my car still hadn't moved but other vehicles were being serviced. Why the hell do you set appointments if you're not going to stick to them? This is the second time this has happened and I definitely WILL NOT be back. I was a loyal customer for 2 years.

Never have I been to a place that so consistently takes so long to perform basic automotive services. I have come here several times, and although the staff is incredibly friendly, they are also incredibly slow. I waited 4 hours for an oil change (after being told it would be a 2 hour wait on a Sunday morning) because an employee could not drive a standard transmission and let my car sit abandoned. After being assure this was a one-time deal, I returned to get new tires added onto my car. Again, I had to wait more than 5 hours for my services to be completed. I was told it would take 3 hours for my car to be serviced, went and ran errands, and returned three hours later to see my car in the shop, but had to wait an additional 2 and a half hours for an oil change and new tires to be added.

Went for a simple alignment had my truck for a day and a half just to get a call saying they couldn t do it cause my upper right ball joint was bad and that it ll have to be fixed before they can do it so i ask if that was all they said yea so ok cool no problem cause i already had the part so i took it fixed it brought it back to them they call me right before they closed saying they couldn t fix it again cause my my left upper and lower ball joints were bad ((just got my left upper & lower ball joints replaced like a month ago)) but you just told me nothing else was wrong with it and on top of that they broke the center piece to my brand new rim i just got rim not even a week old and my car wouldn t crank when i went to pick it up and my air filter box wasn t fasten properly left open so me personally i wouldn t recommend going to this location ((Jacksonian Plaza))

Took my car in at 9am to get a tire checked and an oil change. Also asked them to look at the breaks to see if it was time for them to be changed out. Called back at 1pm to see where we were at and the lady working the phones said I was next up. When it got to 4pm and I hadn't heard anything I called again and she said it was going to be done by 7pm. At 4:05pm I received a call from a man at the location that said it wouldn't be ready until the following day. When I told him I had already talked to a lady that said it would be ready by 7pm he said well if she said that then it will and hung up. At 6pm I recieved a call from the same lady saying that it would be a repair job on tire but that was under warranty. She also told me I didn't need brakes just a system flush but did need 2 new tires for the front. She gave me the price and I agreed to repairs while voicing some concern on being able to handle it so close to close of business. She assured me it would be done. At 6:15pm I recieved a call saying they didn't have the tires in stock so that would have to be another visit. When I arrived to pick up my car they were pulling out of the bay and then they stopped. The mechanic got out and aired up all tires again then gave me keys and said it was all good. Cut to today when I get a sensor trip for loss of air pressure on the same tire they were supposed to fix. Obviously they didn't do anything. I'm at an impasse where I fear they may not have done anything but charged me for services that were never done. I will not take my car back and recommend no one do business with this establishment. During all this never saw the manager or owner once. Its like the nuts are running the asylum.

Let me start by saying I bought two sets of tires here in the past year. One set for my truck and one for my wife. No problem with my truck; great job. My wife truck, on the other hand, I hardly know where to start. First just after I had the tires put on, they were not balanced correctly. When the truck speed reached 70 mph, the steering wheel tremble like crazy. It took two trips to get that fixed. Secondly and the last straw, there was one tire that would not stay inflated. During the summer months, it was a very slow leak. I put air in it every now and then. The tires were new so I didn't think I should be adding air at all. Drop it off one day and told them I would pick it up at lunch. Went back at lunch, it was not ready but I had to get it because I was headed out of town. Told them I would bring it back later. Fast forward three months later, as the weather got cooler I began to add air more often. Drop it off one Saturday about 9:30 am. They kept it all day, call me about one hour before closing asking if I want them to change the oil and a couple more things. I told them no, just fix the tire. Then the person began to tell me they could not find a leak and that the tire was fine. Now I'm really upset because they had my truck all day to tell me that. In short, I went to another tire store, they found a nail in the tire and it's been fine ever since. I will NEVER step foot in that store again.

Don't waste your time going here because they don't want to work!!!! They said nothing was wrong with my vehicle when obviously it is, they are so concerned about going on vacation then they are worried about taking care of customers a week PRIOR to the mechanic going on vacation. They told me everything checked out good.. I took it somewhere else and was told the alternator was bad..... which was obvious as I already knew that but these people probablydidn't even check it out like they were supposed to because like I said dude was more worried about NOT having any work to do since he's going on vacation in a week like he told me repeatedly. Go somewhere else and do NOT waste your time or your money here!!!!!!

I was very disappointed with the timeliness of me getting my car serviced. I brought it in for a full set of tires 5/23/20. They accidentally broke my wheel lock. Asked me to come back to get the last tire put on. Randy the manager stated he would go get the lock and I would be in and out. He asked me to arrive at 8:00. I did. Another sales person went to get the lock an hour and a half after I had been waiting. I m still here and it s 11:30. This is way unacceptable. There has got to be a better way. And I m past being late for work!!!

Won t be back. Sat and waited for 4 hours, while they consistently told me it was almost ready. Saw multiple customers come in after me (without appointments, because I asked the customers) and get in and out before me. I honestly think they forgot about me, and realized it later on. I will NEVER go back, nor will I recommend anybody to go there. The one bright spot was the ONE kind girl behind the counter. She was the only one who seemed legitimately concerned with my wait time.

I had a great experience with this Firestone and the manager, Randy. I had several issues with my car and Randy was more than willing to help and try to make it fit within my budget. He is willing to listen and explain the technicalities to you. It was a great experience and I will be taking my business back as long as Randy is in charge.
