Several Gateways in Desoto County but this one might be a hidden gem!!! Excellent customer service (Craig) and in/out in less than 30 minutes for a tire rotation!!

Rip-off !! Stoled my tools and my Mercedes Benz key lock for my tires. Refuse to own up!! Plus will not balance your wheels properly.

These guys are a ripp-off $320 to fit and balance 4 tires on a car. I have changed tires on cars many times when I used to work at a tire shop and there is nothing to it.they also didn't install the center cap correctly , now it is lost. pathetic workmanship. stay away from them.

No stars here place is a rip off wanted to charge over 2,000 for repairs only needed 3 new tires instead of what they claimed won t be back to Hwy 51 & Church rd .you guys should be ashamed of over charging people !!!

I was very rudely told "The cheapest set of AT tires we have are $1650 plus installation ". So I went to a tire shop down Hwy 51 and spent $2,378 on a set of tires.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE......I had a simple tire going flat at the Memphis airport. I operate a shuttle from MEM to Oxford and I had an hour before an arriving flight with 4 passengers. I drove out of my way to this location because I knew they were consistently less busy, based on my frequent passing by. I hurriedly came in and explained my problem and how urgent it was. The woman at the counter COULDN'T have cared less.......told me it was first come, first serve and that it would be several hours. To fix a flat tire???? I've had a dozen flat tires and I know what is involved. There was one customer in the lobby and 3 cars in the parking lot. I can accept the first come policy but she and her manager seemed to take great pride in telling me I was screwed........at least pretend you care and say we will do all we can to get it to it ASAP......even if it's a lie.So I was over an hour late getting my passengers and they missed their dinner reservations in Oxford.To top it off, the woman tried to charge me $29 and never bothered to see l bought the tires at Gateway with a warranty that covered fixing flats at no cost.

Ms. Mary is the best associate at gateway. She is always so friendly and knowledgeable. She always goes above and beyond. I'll always bring her my business. She would be a great manager! Thank you for service!

Good luck getting any service!!! I tried getting my brakes checked they said it would be a few days. I went back today trying to get my a/c checked out and of course they said it would be a few days!! There was only 2 people in the lobby and atleast 4 open bays on the front side. People can't have there cars there for days for simple services. This place is ridiculous. How they have any business at all is shocking considering they can't get to your vehicle for days. If you are that short staffed maybe you should be fixing the problem by treating employees right and paying them better. Just a thought! I'll be spending my hard earned money somewhere else!

Do not recommend this place. It's amazing that this place can keep the doors open... When I arrived, it was a Wednesday about 9:30am. There were three people waiting in the lobby. I needed to get an oil change and tire rotation. The Lobby was cleared in two hours, and my vehicle stayed on the rack for another hour. Is there a reason to keep a customer waiting for over three hours for a simple oil change and rotation that takes maybe 30 minutes?

Refused to honor free tire balance and rotation. Because tires were bought at another store. Said I needed new tires . These tires have only 10000 miles on them with a 80000 mile warranty. Whent to another store. No problem. HernandoMs. Great work and friendly.

I usually don t get upset very easily and I have used this location in the past but will never go back. Today is Tuesday September 13, 2022 and I brought in a lose tire on a rim that needed to be replaced at 9am. I purchased a new tire which was $176 and just like always they stated they would text me when it was completed. At 10:30am I called to check on it as I was getting a little worried as I had not heard from them. I was told one customer in front of me was still to go and it would be an hour or so. At 2pm I still had not heard from they so I decided to go up and check on it. I pulled in and walked up to where I left the damaged tire only to see it still sitting in the same place I was told to put it this morning. I walked in and inquired about it and was told that it was now being worked on. It took 10 minutes to take the old one off and mount the new one on. I noticed there were no cars remaining in the bays so I m guessing they waited to do the jobs that took longer to do instead going in order. My fianc� s car has been on a jack since 8:30 this morning and I ve been sitting at home 5 hours waiting to get a single tire done. Needless to say I will not be returning to any Gateway locations and will take my business elsewhere.

I have been there twice in the past two weeks and have had great service and I had a great experience they did great job and wasn't too long of a wait like a few months ago and the lady at the front desk is on top of it and I like how she does things but don't know her name

Terrible service! Don't get diagnostic done here! Or anything! Went in for diagnostic and they first act like they could fix the problem then said I would have to pay extra for more diagnostic time. Only to be referred to a dealership who told me they didn't even put parts or wiring back together. I wouldn't send anyone to this Gateway. The one on Poplar is much better.

Took nearly 2 full hours to rotate and balance my tires despite being 2nd in line that morning. The lady that assisted me (Mary I think was her name) was very nice and helpful; however, her co-worker this day (Craig I think) was polar opposite!The Tech that worked on my vehicle was very nice and complementary on how I had maintained my tires that made me feel good.This place would've gotten 5 stars had it not been for the co-worker spoiling for the rest of the staff and experience I had on this day.

Usually when I come here the service is pretty good but lately not so much. I made 2 attempts to get a simple oil change and tire rotation. On the first attempt, I arrived when they opened (7:30 a.m.)and was told there was only one mechanic available and that it would likely be about 10 a.m. before the work was completed. I waited until 10 a.m. (2.5 hrs) and my car was still sitting in the parking lot. I asked for my keys and left.On the second attempt, I was told again that there was only one mechanic available and there was a supposed 3hr wait. I left went somewhere else and had the work completed in an hour.What is the point of being open with only one mechanic available?

As a general rule, the ONLY thing I go to gateway for is tire patching. Usually they say it'll be $25 to patch but rarely charge me for it. As such, I had a nail in my tire that was more than an inch from the treadwall. For those who don't know, a tire can only be patched/plugged if the puncture is more than an inch from the treadwall. When I arrived, they said it would be TWO to THREE hours before they could get to my car.. For a <10 minute repair. Nope, not sitting in the lobby wasting time . The person I spoke with asked me if I wanted to leave my car.. Nope, not trusting a shop I already don't trust with my main transportation that I've put in $1000's in work with my own blood, sweat, and tears. Not to mention, why would anyone assume someone has another way around, during a recession, in the poorest state in the country?There we're bays empty, I'd assume they are short staffed like everyone else. No surprise when places like gateway absolutely don't pay their technicians enough. I called around and Express Oil Change and Tire Engineers could get me in immediately. See my review on them.

My elderly mother just came needing a new battery , and the woman that was at front was completely rude and no help at all. My mom ask for help to see if her gateway card was still Working and the woman told her to call the number . As my mom was on the phone with the number on the back the said customer service agent repeatedly ask my mom for her number like she didn t see that she was on the phone.My mom told her to for get it and the woman that s of my mom that she could leave because they had plenty of work .Completely unprofessional and unhelpful, especially to treat an elderly woman like that.

I have been very disappointed in the front desk person for the last eight months, each time I call before going into the shop. The first two times I called she was very dismissive, yet I took my vehicle in. Once there I was informed that they could not perform the service I required. Today I was told that the mechanic was not working today. I had called yesterday and was told by a female that I should bring it in this morning. Funny thing is she gave me a sideways look when I told her that I had talked with a female yesterday and she said to bring it in today. This is the second shop that Gateway has in our area that I will no longer use for service.

I was at the door when they opened at 7:30. Five people were checked ahead of me. I needed a basic oil change. After I sat patiently for an hour and a half, I was dismissed being told there were people in line ahead of me. A man who arrived for the same service at 8:20 left with his vehicle serviced shortly after 9. After another 30 minutes, I went to the bay to ask if my car had a problem. There a tech told me they had to wait on an oil filter to be delivered. If I had been told this, or if the manager had even inquired about the delay, I would have understood. I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars with Gateway, but not one more cent. I was treated dismissively and with passive aggressive behavior upon check out. This was not a staffing I ssue. This was a customer service issue.

I've been going to this location for over 5 years always excellent service, but this year but so good I've been trying to get an alignment since July or August always the same thing technician out or can't do it. So today I got just the oil change i come out look at my car my front tag missing i know i didn't loose well i get in the car and it's laying on the seat. The fact that they didn't inform me it was off blows me. My 15min oil change turned into 1hr -2hr

Took my car in a 7:30am when they opened to get an oil change and tire rotation. Called at 11am to check because I felt it was taking longer than usual, and was told my car was on the rack and they were going to start soon. Called again at noon, and was told they had to order the oil filter and it had just arrived so it shouldn't be much longer. Called again at 1pm, and was told they hadn't even started the oil change or tire rotation yet. Completely unacceptable and will probably not be bringing my car here anymore.

I went to GATEWAY TIRES on Hwy 51 and experienced the best customer service. DENNIS & MARY greeted me at the desk with such warm & calming welcome. They exemplified world class customer service. I will definitely be back!!!!

I had a much better experience today than the last time I went. They gave me 30% sale discount that I knew nothing of, and they recommended, without just trying to sell something to me, 2 new tires that I will need quite soon. I told the salesman that it may need to wait until around Thanksgiving and he assured me that was very sufficient. Looks like I'll be there the week of Thanksgiving to buy 2 new tires!

I have my High Country, Jeep and Yukon serviced with this Gateway store. The staff is always courteous and knowledgeable in what needs to be done. I trust these people to tell me exactly what I NEED done, not what THEY want done. The service dept is always clean and I have never had a bad experience when going there. It's a pleasure doing business with these people. Gateway should to be very proud of the guys running this location.

Freeze warning equals low tire pressure issues. . Stopped by to get some air. There were 2 young guys taking care of business. Both had great attitudes and provided excellent customer service. Just saying. Happy Thanksgiving guys!

Customer Service was Great at the Drive Thru Window,I tipped the Young Man,However The Chicken Sandwiches were Over Cooked BOTH MY Wife Love Hardes for Breakfast Frequently,however After Drive Corinth MS.,AFTER MY WIFES MOTHER FUNERAL WE WERE SADLY DISAPPOINTED WITH FRIES,ONION RINGS WHICH OVER COOKED ALSO.WE COULD HAVE STOPPED MANY 5 STAR EATERIES ON GOODMAN ROAD,HOWEVER DINNER FOR OF UNSATISFACTORY TO SAY THE LEAST FOR A RUINED SUPPER MEAL.

I came in on a Thursday to have two tires put on my car. They were new tires I had purchased myself online and I just came to gateway to get them installed. Before arriving, I called and spoke with Adam (I believe was his name) the manager and was quoted a price which he said included mount, balance, valve stems, and re-learn the TPMS. My driver front tire was low (one of the two they worked on). Now, before this, my valve stem had a crack in it. Since on the phone he quoted new valve stems I didn t mention it because I figured they would be replaced. All was good until Saturday when my check tire pressure light came on And low and behold, my valve stem was still cracked. I showed up at 8am this morning and informed Adam of what had happened. He proceeded to try and tell me that they only replaced the valve CORE and not the stem. To which I replied, why wouldn t they have replaced the valve stem with it being cracked and leaking? Or at least check them when putting on new tires. He did not have an answer but did inform me that if my car has TPMS in the valve stem which I already knew it does, then it would cost an additional charge. I informed him I didn t agree with that but would pay if I had to but did not feel like I should have to pay to re-learn the sensors again which is of course, another charge on top of the extra charge for the new valve stem. All in all I was looking at an extra hundred or so bucks after paying one fifty already to have two tires put on. JUST TO HAVE THEM PUT ON!! I then informed him that I would not be paying that again and would be calling corporate which I have done. (Of course getting through to someone is almost impossible but I m not one to give up) I would not use this place! They are incredibly overpriced and try to get as many fees out of you as possible! I would recommend magnolia tire which is 5 mins away. Much more reasonable and friendly. I should also mention he offered to take it back and have them look at it to see but there would still be a charge. At this point there were about 8 cars ahead of me and I was not about to wait all that time and pay for something that should have been done in the first place! Horrible service! DO NOT USE!!
