Dan and Mark were great to work with. They were honest about the repairs I needed, and the shop did a great job in a timely manner to get them done. Iwill definitely be giving them more business.

Took my car in for an alignment and 2 new tires. When I left my car was pulling to right. Took the car back and they said it was the tire that they put on but didn t take any responsibility for it not being aligned. Took it to Pro One and they said it was my right front wheel turned out. I went back and asked for a refund because they did not align the car nor did they really know why they could not align the car with the 2 new tires they put on the car. Incompetent is the only word I can think of to describe this place. The guys working the desk were unwilling to take responsibility for their lack of knowledge and tried to blame it on me the non professional.

Picked up a nail traveling over night and had to put on the donut and hunker down in a local hotel for the night. University Tire & Service got us in first thing the next morning and plugged us up. Quick repair, fair price and friendly staff.

I was traveling with my 87 year old parents when we had a flat tire on hwy 98 15 miles out of Hattiesburg. AAA put on my spare and we drove to University Tire & Service. They had the tire we needed and had it replaced and the spare secured back in place in no time. They were friendly, knowledgeable, trustworthy and had us back on the road.

I initially had an issue with my service here but the manager and staff reached out and explained more about the car issue I was having and took a second look. They were able to give me a better idea of what the issue is. I am happy with the resolution and their professional demeanor.

Most honest car repair business in area. They have turn work away more than once because we were wrong on a problem that was a simple fix. They could have charged us. Just bought a set of tires and they said we needed front breaks. 130000 miles and never change them. Dan said you want to see and I replied no. Full trust. Just replace them please. Good price good work. Tks.

These guys are the best! Seriously. My most recent experience was this morning. Late last night on my way home from Jackson, I got a piece of metal in a tire that completely deflated it within minutes. The gas station next door had no quarters and both air machines were broken anyway. So I took an Uber home and came back this morning to see if University could fix me up to get back to Jackson. I surprised Mark as he was opening the door 30 minutes before opening time, and he quickly invited me in out of the rain. After explaining the situation, he walked over to Jim, the chief mechanic, who filled up the portable air tank, walked next door in the rain with me, aired up my tire and pulled me in immediately to get me fixed up and on my way. I'm going to be late to my meeting this morning, but I wouldn't even be getting there if not for this crew going above and beyond.This is not an isolated experience. Mike and Sherry, Dan, Johnny, Mark, Jim and the entire crew care about me, my car and all their clients. It's nice to have a locally-owned tire shop like this with professionals you can talk to and feel like you're heard - and the quality work is good too. Client for life.

Needed headlight bulb changed. Didn't have tools with me and was in a pinch so I called them. They wanted to charge me for the part when I already had the lights just needed them put in. Pitiful. Shouldn't be ripping people off like that.

Starting with the manager, everyone here seems to hate life. I tried my best to get a thank-you or a smile out of every one of their employees while I was here, by saying "thank you", "I appreciate it". Did I get my tires? yes. Did I leave here feeling excited that I bought tires? no, you never really feel excited about buying tires, but at least you don't feel disappointed about where you bought them. Ugh!

Can t say enough great things about this place! I got a tire right at the end of the day and they saw me Instantly! Patched my tired within 20 mins! Everyone was super nice, quick, and helpful! Very thankful for them making a stressful situation easy for me!

We were so impressed by the gentlemen who work here! I was traveling with a large group, and we got a flat tire. We asked Mike and Neil if we could borrow a tire jack, and they walked all the way to the gas station down the road to come help us. They stayed past closing to see us off safely, and we were so impressed by their professionalism and effort to go the extra mile! Thank you for your help!!!

My steering wheel was shaking so I knew it was either my car needed new tires in the front or it needed to be aligned. I took my car and explained to the counter clerk what it was doing. He put it in for alignment. They completed the alignment and when I went to pay them told me my car was still going to shake because I needed new tires. I had to pay 100.00 for a useless alignment. When I called back and asked why I was not told about my tires prior to the alignment since I did ask them to check it I was told that the service technician may not have looked at the tires first. So I paid for something I should not have. This place does not care about g tj along card of people at all. They should not have charged me for a service when they knew what was actually wrong with my car. Will not ever go back here again.

The technicians at University tire did an excellent job on servicing my truck. It didn't take long at all and they were very thorough with the inspection. I even had a laugh or two with the guys in the shop! I will definitely be coming back for my next service.

Best Tire/Mechanic shop in town. Thank you for the reliable, reasonable and honest service Jeff Bounds. Took my sons car in for an oil change and to get new tires and ended up needing brakes and an alignment. It s always good to know that a mechanic who is working on your car genuinely cares bout the safety of your kids as if he was working on his very own child s car. Thanks for looking out for future problems(brakes and alignment) down the road and getting them fixed for me instead of it costing me even more later on. My vehicles won t be worked on by anyone other than Jeff and the guys at University Tire. Highly recommend this place.

I needed one new ignition coil for the 5th cylinder of my vehicle which was causing a misfire. The mechanic suggested that I get all of them replaced because they can be difficult to get to , which makes perfect sense because I know how coils and spark plugs are, this leads me to believe that they are planning on replacing all 6 of my coils. Come to find out they only replaced half of them because apparently only the rear 3 are the difficult ones to get to like we mentioned when I called them back. Not to mention the price for only 3 coils is way overpriced (~$250). I understand that repair shops must make some type of profit, but for that amount I could have bought a full set myself and replaced them if I were in my hometown where I had the means to do so. The only positive that I found to come out of this situation was that they managed to get the car back to me in a timely manner. Wouldn t suggest this place to anyone that needs any type of motor work done to their vehicle. Stick to wheels and tires if you must go here because otherwise you might get talked around in circles and led on to believe something they want you to think.

I had a new set of tires put on my truck at D&D Tire (University Tire on 40th). The total cost for (4) tires was $1,600+ and was to include lifetime balancing and rotating.Last Saturday I took my truck in for balancing and rotating. When leaving for work on the Monday following the balancing and rotating work I heard at least (2) tire weights sling off my tires and hit the undercarriage of my truck. My truck immediately began to shimmy.This morning I took my truck back in to have the unbalanced fixed 1:30 pm and was told I came in too late (they closed at 3:00pm) and was told to come back Monday morning...which I can t because I use my truck for work. Maybe if the work had been done correctly the first time this wouldn t have been a problem! This is not the first time I ve had to return because of poor quality work being done. I don t think D&D Tire cares that my time costs me and my family money. Just bring it back doesn t solve the real problem of poor quality service.This will be the last time I ll buy a set of tires from University Tire...It looks like it s time to give Bills Discount Tire & Wheel a try...!

Had a nail in my tire. They fixed it in less than an hour on a Saturday (~11 am)! Cost me less than $25 too. Am so happy about it because I hear about some stores trying to charge people too much, especially women.

Overpriced repair product and service for my lexus gx470 quoted $829 for both and part cost 300.I asked for tire pressure and they took my chrome air valve and replaced them with plastic cheap.Suspicious service and over price service quote...Go elsewhere for a better quote. NOT a Goodyear i recommendation!

My experience here was not good. Employee 'James Miller' was very unpleasant and unprofessional. He rotated my tire and after left grease and dirt inside the surface of my car as well as damage the seat cover on my car. His service was immature and absord. I will never recommend anyone to this location just because of his unprofessional attitude. He was the only employee their that did that, I had no issues with the others.

My family has used University Tire for decades. They are honest people. They are not going to take advantage of you. They also have a designated oil change place. You will be in and out in less than thirty minutes.

The tires are good, but the staff doesn't do what I ask everytime I've been here. They changed the wrong tires, and broke my rims without saying anything about it. Tires are overinflated, everytime. They sold me more expensive tires than I had, saying that they had better traction. That was a lie, they are both rated "A" for traction on the sidewall.

Was on my way back to Texas with a tire that had a screw in it. Got there right when they opened and was on the road 30 minutes later. Great bunch of people working here. Thanks again for helping me get home safe y'all!

Traveling through town and my husband s car tires were low. His tires require nitrogen so we just looked in google maps and found this place. Exceptionally friendly and helped us right away.

I went there to get see what the problem was on my car it was leaking coolant. Long story short they put a new radiator in the car. They also fixed my squeling belt on my car. This place is where you want to go.

I go to University Tire on a regular basis. I have always been pleased with the service I have received. I have been treated honestly and politely. I recommend this store highly.
