This is your fist and best choice for car repair. Everyone was more than an employee showing up for work. Really interested in helping to get the car back in service for your busy life. Never found them to be too high in cost

We took my grandsons old Rodeo to Phillips for repair since every one else said they couldn't do the repair (rear end seal) and not only did he do it quickly but he did it without charging a lot. I highly recommend this guy!I CANNOT recommend this company highly enough!

I took my vehicle to Phillips Car Care Center because it was making a noise I couldn t identify. They told me up front they wouldn t be able to get to it in the next few days but if I brought it by, they would see if they could identify the sound. After an initial look, they couldn t be entirely sure of the problem. The young man helping me said he didn t want me to leave in case something happened with the car. He went and put it on the rack to find out exactly what was going on.It was the alternator. They offered to replace it right then if I could spare the time. Not only did they fix it - they made me a priority and I am so grateful. These gentleman could not have been nicer. I will be a loyal customer anytime we need maintenance or repairs!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Had my car for over 4 months and I still had to take it somewhere else to be properly repaired. No one stayed in contact with me and would take literally weeks to respond and even then, my concerns weren't even addressed. $4,000 later and a total of 3 times of placing the car in the shop I'm still unable to drive my car. The owner also had no concern or professionalism to provide peace of mind or to ensure that the issue was finally resolved after promising it was.NOTE**** PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR ITEMIZED RECIEPT AS MINE WAS COPY AND PASTED EVERYTIME DESPITE BEING TOLD DIFFERENT THINGS WERE DONE.IDK IF my experience was due to my race, but I did not feel seen heard or appreciated as a customer that was robbed and inconvenienced.

Passing through Hattiesburg on our way to Louisiana from Tennessee when my truck refused to start back up after killing it. Had to get a tow but had no idea where to take it since I m not from around there. Chose closest mechanic shop to where I was. Had to leave my vehicle since it was Saturday evening and the place wouldn t open until Monday. Got a ride to Louisiana and called them first thing Monday morning. Joey said he would take a look at it and let me know. Seems that the problem was intermittent which is a nightmare to diagnose but Joey did everything he could to find the problem. Kept it for several days trying different things. Vehicle now runs normally. I asked how much I owed and was told nothing since he didn t really fix anything. Now what kind of mechanic actually takes that much time but doesn t charge. Joey must be the most honest mechanic in the world. My only regret is that I don t live closer so I could take all my vehicles here. Thank you so much Joey for being such an honest guy.Service: Engine repair

Jacob was very kind and professional - the team here fixed my A/C issue that wasn't getting cold in 2 days when Kia Laurel couldn't even find the problem in 3 weeks. They also told me if I bad any fuether issues they would fix it free of charge. Will definitely return if I have any more car problems!Edit: Did end up returning recently for a separate A/C issue - the shop was good with updates and made sure I rolled out with consistent cold air again. They also were kind enough to drop me off when I didnt have a ride available. Can't thank them enough!

Dropped my car off at Phillips Car Care center today and was immediately greeted by Joey! After communicating with them on the phone quite a few times in the last week for a future appointment. I had a sudden issue come up and they let me drop my car off immediately. Phillips has made room for me every time I have called while making me feel heard which is hard to come across for a younger girl. The other car repair shops I have used in Hattiesburg I have found that I am talked down to because I don t know a lot about cars. But not Phillips they have been professional every time. Joey was so personable and friendly I felt I was leaving my car in safe hands. Even if it s bad news I know that I can trust Phillips Car Care Center!! Sudden radiator leak in late model Infiniti QX70 while traveling I-59 near Hattiesburg, MS Labor Day weekend (everything closed). Nursed to first exit, left car with note at first repair shop, Phillips Car Care, and then took train to New Orleans. Blind faith... and JACKPOT. Best choice we could have made had we possessed full local knowledge. They ordered radiator, installed quickly and perfectly, very, very reasonable price, great mechanical service and excellent customer relationship. Car is back to excellent humming condition. I recommend this establishment highly... beautiful result. Yea!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I cannot say enough about the professionalism and customer care displayed here.I had major engine repairs done, and upon completion, an issue arose once the vehicle would get hot, where it would shut off when stopped. Joey made it clear that he did not want me to drive the vehicle if I did not feel safe...he offered to send a truck and have it towed (about 40 miles) if need be. After working tirelessly on figuring out the issue, it was fixed with no extra charge. As busy as they were and as aggravating as the issue was to resolve, I was always met with a smile and felt welcome. Throughout the process, Joey would call and check on me to be sure things were working correctly and that I made it back to work safely after the truck was fixed. I highly recommend Phillips Car Care Center in Hattiesburg, MS.Service: Engine repair

I took my British model car to Phillips to see my car and it turns out my car just had a small hiccup. Then I asked if they can check out my wiper fluid tank and it was an easy fix! He did not charge me for the services but I am thankful for the wonderful service. I was helped by Joe and he was extremely helpful! this is one of the few places in H-burg where they can check out British modes. Other than that, they have a great service and great people! 10/10 recommend.

I've never written a google review, but I had to in this case. I was initially very nervous about taking my car to anyone except my usual mechanic back home, due to the fact that I've got 300,000 miles and can't take any chances. But when I say service with a smile, I mean it, and it's excellent service. I came in with an oil leak and they had it fixed in a day for a super fair price. Can't reccomend enough!

Took my car in for a loud, obnoxious squeak and the temp light popping on occasionally. Joey s customer service was fantastic; really sweet and chipper guy. He tightened up my belt which stopped the squeak and checking for a leak in my coolant system and got me up and running same day. Didn t charge me a thing. I ve been taking my cars here for years and continue to get great service every time. Highly recommended.

The hospitality was suburb. Everyone was wearing a smile and extremely helpful. Went above and beyond to ensure my absolute satisfaction. Compared what the Hyundai dealership said was wrong and showed me that nothing needed to fixed right now and he could fix those issues for lower price. Would highly recommend this auto shop. You have gained a customer for life Joey and Silva!

I ve worked with Joey and Silva for all my vehicles for the last 10 years. They have always treated me with respect and have shown to be the most honest and genuine men I ve met. They stand behind their work, but I have rarely needed them to fix anything more than once. Highly recommend. Wish I didn t have to move away to another state.

This shop is the best I have ever encountered. We have taken our vehicles there exclusively for 5 years. Joey has never given me bad advice and always gives me a fair price. He definitely seems like a guy who would rather have repeat business than make a quick buck by fixing problems that don't exist.

Another shop quoted me $2000 for a simple repair. Took my car over to Philips Car Care and they fixed me up for around $200 bucks! Friends and family have been here and have always had excellent service. Trust these guys!

Phillips Car Care has been repairing my family's vehicles since it was Phillip Brothers for 45 years now. There is no other place in the pine belt I will visit. One of best places to get car serviced. I own 3 Hondas. One of them started making an annoying rattling sound on and off. Honda Dealer charged me $600 but the sound was still there. Someone at job told me about Phillip car care. They fixed the sound at no cost. I was very impressed. I have used them 3-4 times in the last 3 years and had awsome experience each time. Joey and his father owns this place and they know there job well.

Hood latch: Mr. Phillips looked at my Nissan Altima which has a hood latch problem. I took it to two other businesses who thought it couldn t be fixed without breaking the grill, but when Phillips looked at it, he fixed it in 10 minutes without breaking anything. I m one happy customer and will be back. He saved me $700.

Hands down the best place to take your vehicles for maintenance and repair. I've been going to this place for over 10 years and the staff is always friendly and knowledgable. It seems the same people have been working there the entire time as well. They are very thorough and explain everything. They never charge if they don't find anything and they have very reasonable prices. I've never been disappointed and never had any issues from work they have performed. I never had to address anything they fixed or did because it's always been done right.

I was visiting a friend in town and had a lot of car troubles on my way down from Iowa. The check engine light came on, the ac stopped working, the car was making a horrible noise and the battery was dying from Memphis to Hattisburg. When I got into town finally I called them and explained that I was only staying for a few days and needed to be able to drive home. They fit me into their busy schedule and replaced the serpentine belt. Then after driving home the check engine light came back on and they told me to bring it back the next day. They fixed the solenator adjustors (I think that's what they were called) and I was able to make it back to Iowa safely. For both fixes they're prices were fantastic. Lower than what google said they should be for the types of things they were fixing. The people there were knowledgeable, efficient, and polite. They totally saved the day for me. My first visit after a friend recommended them. Very pleased! When you go to a car repair shop and ask them to find something wrong and they only come up with $130.00 worth. That is good in my book. It was a 2003 Suburban so I expected way worse.
