I literally dread going to car lots. We have been shopping for 6 months for my daughter s perfect car in Louisiana. We decided to make the drive to Petro Nissan and so am so glad we did. As soon as we entered the door we were treated awesome. Charles Was great and the entire team catered to us and found us the perfect deal.Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Mr. Phillip McDaniels in the service department is awesome!! I came in at 5pm on a Friday needing a new tire. Even though it was close to their closing time, he took the time to explain what I needed and made sure that I was well taken care of. While waiting to check out, I noticed how personable he was, knowing all of his waiting customers by name. He definitely came through when I was in a bind. Much kudos and thanks!

I know that a lot of times even if you have an appointment with the doctors office, it takes a bit of time to be seen. But every single time we come here to have an oil change and tire rotation, it takes almost 2 hours. There is absolutely NO reason that it should take that long. I know they may throw that "We do a how many ever point inspection" at me. But I know that it's not true, because they said I needed a cabin air filter after my husband had changed it 2 days prior to coming in. When we question them and asked did they really check it, they said yes. So he showed my husband a photo of the filter and that it needed to be changed. Well surprise surprise, the color the filter was wasn't even the color he had changed it to. My husband walked to the back with them, and they showed him our filter which was still in the car. It was NOT the same filter that was in his photos he had shown my husband. I do NOT trust this service center. I do NOT plan on coming back. I can not recommend the service center, but the dealership so far the people seemed super nice.I am only reviewing the service center.

Tyler Bass has been great to work with whether I need a scheduled maintenance on my vehicle or unexpected repairs! He is very patient, diligent and has great communication skills. Bottom line is that he gets the job done. I highly recommend him at the service department.

I will not be returning here. I scheduled for an oil change and transmission flush, I intended to receive only those two and possibly air filters. My company vehicle was being serviced, exactly why they threw on extra charges to add 300$ to the bill. I did not request service on my brakes and they did it any way without contacting me and now, my brakes are skipping at stops and not performing the way they should be. As someone who works in the automotive field, your customers safety should be your top priority. Servicing anything that can harm the driver should be brought to the attention of the customer in a proper manner. I would never risk my customers safety without letting them know what is going on. They didn t send the survey I asked for after ghosting me on the brake issue so their surveys wouldn t take a hit, but instead of something that only they can see, it is now public. The only reason I gave them two stars is because it s local. Not worth your time or money, support a mom and pop who actually cares about their customers.

Clarence was EXTRAORDINARY! 10 out of 10 customer service! Clarence went above and beyond to make sure my family had the best vehicle for us. He wasn't pushy and made sure that I chose the right vehicle for me. He made the experience so much better. He won a customer for life. I would definitely come back to Nissan strictly for Clarence.

Philip was the best. My vehicle had some mechanical problems and everything was taken care of in a timely manner. He gave me updates and even made sure that my insurance covered the rental car. Great customer service.

Tyler was there to help me. He was very attentive and listened to my list of things that needed to be addressed. He made sure each one was addressed and fixed. He kept giving me updates as I waited and was sure to make sure I was comfortable. Tyler is the best.

I ve been car shopping for about two years and out of all the places I went, Petro was the best! We ve had Nissans for years and they are by far the best! Mr. Paul Carruba was great to work with and he helped me get the best deal on what I wanted! With this being my first car purchase, I was very anxious! But Petro eased that and helped me finally step out and purchase! No regrets!

Mr. GREEN was amazing with us. We worked out a price on a new versa. He was knowledgeable, funny, and awesome. We will definitely shop with Petro in the future bc of mr green and friends. They were all super nice and transparent. 10/10 would recommend. It was our first new car and Mr. Green made it a great memory that we ll never forget!

I made a call today to get a price on a specific part on my Nissan Altima. When they were called the first time I asked my significant other to call and ask first. She came back to me and let me know that they had the part, they could sell, but gave a long list of things as to why she should just get a whole new transmission instead of replacing it (which is a 3000 dollar job when the part I needed only costed 30 bucks in total). After trying to just get the amount on the part through them he eventually says that Nissan can just change the part out for her as well, but still doesn t give the amount of the part only list of reason why she should just get a new transmission. I called after and asked politely and told them I was only looking for the part and didn t want to replace the transmission. He continues to go and gives me a long list of reason why I shouldn t without even knowing the condition of my car or me bringing it in as if the place was more focused on the bigger dollar than the buisness itself. After he explains it for the second time I tell him again politely that I was only looking for the part. He then tells me they don t sell it and they don t work on or with that part. Due to this I am done with this shop and I will make sure any and all people I know to stand clear of this place. Wish them the best but I hope anyone who reads this ask other shops before going here from the start for any type of help besides the front office.

If you are in need of service, I highly recommend Kim at Petro Nissan. I am a Ford F-150 owner. They provide service to most make and models, not just Nissan. Kim is highly knowledgeable, professional, punctual and treats you with kindness & high quality service. My truck received the best high grade full synthetic motor oil in a timely manner, along with a quality points vehicle inspection, and air added to tires. I appreciate local businesses truly caring for each and every client. Treating folks with kindness from the business or the customer means something.Huge thank you to Kim and team members for the awesome service I received today. Truly top notch, punctual, and high quality customer care and service. That s what you get using your local Petro Nissan.Thank you again Kim. I will be back. 5 Stars

Don't shop here unless you want a bad experience! Purchased my car in February of 2023. They told me it was driven by the owner's mother. Kept finding makeup spots in random places so I guess she liked putting makeup on in the car. Overthe summer whenever it was super hot, we noticed a smoke smell. I contacted my salesman, Clarence, who told me I was a customer for life. He told me to bring it by and they would fix it. Then he found out that since I had purchased it so long ago, there was nothing they could do. He did not disclose the car belonged to a smoker or I certainly would not have purchased it. So be warned, the crooks will sell you a smokers car, unless you specifically ask! Thanks for the valuable car buying lesson , Petro, and enjoy the money you made off me during a car buying crisis because it will be the last! I guess you just wanted the money now instead of fostering a lifelong relationship because I will buy a Honda or a Toyota next time! Buyers beware, they don't care about you as a customer! Once they have your money, they are done.

I had a few buttons that did not work on my vehicle. Tyler had me in quickly but the part was on back order. He kept me informed and as soon as it came in he had me in and on my way in just a matter of hours. I would just like to say that I deal with Tyler every time I come in and he is always nice welcoming and professional.

I had a fantastic car buying experience at Petro Nissan. The entire process was seamless. The financing aspect of car buying can be overwhelming however it was effortless thanks to the finance manager s approach and willingness to explain everything thoroughly. The service team is exceptional! Thank you all for making this a positive and memorable experience.

Nice clean, dealership. Check your oil level after a service. They overfilled ours by 1.3 quarts. Returned to remedy this, sat with people who stated they had been waiting a few hours for their oil change. Friendly people.

Horrible experience. My vehicle was at the dealership over 45 days to get an oil leak fixed. Once service was completed there was an additional problem that was not noted on the diagnostic check. My AC (passed the multi-point inspection). Which means AC was working fine before I took it to Petro. Once I picked up my car it was no longer working. I was informed that I had to pay for the part (ac compressor) that was not broken before I had service done at the facility. I wont recommend Petro to anyone for service and I will be reporting this facility to the BBB.

Scheduled appointment for oil change online. The website gave a specific option for the oil change service. Arrived 15 minutes prior to the appointment. After one hour past appointment time, the car was just beginning to be worked on. Was told they do oil changes first come first serve only after waiting.

It was absolutely horrible. My entire life has been negatively affected since May 1 when I brought my car there. I absolutely DO NOT recommend them to anyone for absolutely anything. Not only are they HORRIBLE at fixing cars brought into the service department but their customer service is disgusting. My car looked worse when I picked it up over a month later than it did when I brought it in with all the damages. They didn t plug any anything they replaced, they left the console not connected into the slots right. My car was covered in mechanical grease, black hand prints and boot marks everywhere. They lied and charged for new parts that were never ordered or repaired. If I could give zero stars I would in a heartbeat. My new car we bought comes with free detailing services once a week and the only place to get it done in Hattiesburg is Petro. I will clean own car because I do not trust them to.

Took my truck in because it wouldn't crank. They said it needed an ecm. After giving the ok to fix what I thought was the only problem they said there was yet another one. They had my truck for about a month only to say they needed $500 for more diagnostic time. Even though they already said what it was but needed more time to make sure. I really wanted to purchase another vehicle from here but they changed my mind. Horrible experience. Probably would have been better off spending money with hometown mechanics.
