One word, Nicole! She is so awesome. She explained everything in detail in a way I could understand what is going on with my new truck. She had excellent recommendations on what needed to be taken care of immediately and what could wait until later. I really appreciate her genuine advice.

Had terrible service with Mayfair location so my husband tried this one. ALWAYS have to wait forever regardless of how early we arrive. Waited hours last time and had to go back bc they didn t change the oil. Didn t offer an apology or anything. Husband arrived today before 8:00. They didn t even show up until 8:40. Then questioned whether we really had bought the extra balance and rotation. Terrible service. Willing to pay another several hundred dollars somewhere else next time for better service.

I cannot say that I had a pleasant experience working with Firestone. I originally called on a Friday asking to see if they had a particular type of tire in stock for my car that had blown a tire. After speaking with the representative he told me that while he did not have the right tire today, but would have it ready by late Monday for around $600 for a new set. I agreed to the price and waited until Monday evening. Upon arriving at the store I found out that no tires had been ordered and that the tires would cost $900 to have a set of four put on my car. I reminded the representative of the original quoted price of $600 to which he was able to find me a better price and said that later that same week I would be able to come in and have all four tires taken care of. On Thursday that same week at the appointed time I arrived only to be told that the technician who could replace the tires had to leave for a family emergency and that I would have to reschedule, note that I had never received a phone call or heads up about this change. I made a new appointment again, waited again, and finally when I arrived the technician thought that I was at the wrong store. I explained the situation to the representative and was told that the tires were not available at that location.I have no plans or interest in continuing business with this location given their customer service towards me. I hope that your experience is better but I do not personally recommend working with this location for the sake of your schedule, your time, and your money. There are a number of other companies in the area that will do a free alignment with any tire replacement.

The Customer Service was exceptional! What could have easily been an stress-filled unpleasant car repair experience was the complete opposite! I would gladly recommend this location without hesitation!

MICHEAL AKA MIKE is one of the BEST workers you have for this company !!! Hands down I have been following Mike ever since he has been out there on 98 of hattiesburg Ms !! Great places to get tires. They have a great selection and installed the same day. Service time was fast, fast, fast.Once again, the service was fast. 2 tires mounted and balanced with a rotation in just over an hour.Two thumbs up!

Never have had a bad experience here! They re always so efficient and helpful annd sweet and such a reasonable price. I can imagine the feeling I get when I drop my car off for a repair is the same feeling of security one might get if they had a father taking care of their car. I mean, I know nothing about experiencing the love of a father, but this Firestone comes close!!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Air conditioning, Oil change

We had gotten a flat on the beginning of an 11 hour journey, and stopped in around 4:30 pm to see if they had a replacement tire as we were on our spare. The people were friendly, had a tire that would work, and they put it on for us so we could continue our journey. The price was fair. It took about an hour, and that was great, we obviously didn't have an appointment. We made it to our destination (Chatanooga, and Gatlinburg) and we made it back to Louisiana with no issues. I had the absolute best experience with the professionals at this Firestone! It was my first time at this location but it won't be the last.The lady at the front desk was AMAZING! SHE explained everything to me about my tire and asked if I'd like to see it. I felt great to have someone take the time to give excellent service and customer service. The young man who drove my car around placed plastic and paper on my seat and floor. He apologized for leaving it in the car but I thanked him for being careful enough to protect my vehicle. I was leaving the next morning for a trip out of town and they wanted to make sure I was safe.I will be a customer of theirs for a long time.

About a year ago my husband and I took his 07 Silverado up to the Firestone off of Hardy street in Hattiesburg for much needed repair and replacement on breaks and rotors. On good word and recommendation by a friend of mine that works there that is. The bill was about 1,400$ after everything, breaks, rotors, tires, and what not. It wasn t too long before we took it back in because the insides of the front tires were bald and truck was now shaking when the brakes were applied. Upon bringing it back to Firestone we were told that the truck needed and alignment after I insisted, they checked the brakes and rotors. We did go ahead and did the alignment because the truck was over due for one. Well little by little after the alignment was done and technician swore to me that the breaks were inspected and safe, the truck starts shaking again. Vibration in the steering wheel and the cab shutters you can feel the unevenness in the petals, it s very hard to deny that something was wrong with the brakes. So here we are my husband and I have moved, and thank God the trucks condition hasn t worsened. The technician here in Oakwood GA called and told us that not only did Hardy St not properly grease the breaking components but there was uneven wear on the break pads because they were installed incorrectly, this also caused uneven warping the the rotors. I get that mistakes happen and people aren t perfect but when the safety of people s lives could on the line that s different. I m trusting you, paying you to properly make the requested fixes on this truck only to be told that the work was sloppy and insufficiently done. The technicians here in Oakwood have credited our account and are currently correcting the issue. Firestone is a reputable brand, I ve trusted them with my 95 Jeep and my husband s truck. All this being said I will not let this ruin my overall experiences with Firestone, however this sort of thing just doesn t need to be normalized.Services: Brakes, Brake service & repair

Wish I could give 0 stars! Such an awful experience! After going to this location 3 times in 1 week my car never got fixed!! I was given the runaround by 3 different people. I was treated VERY RUDELY by Service "Manager" Dwayne. I had an appointment for services but once I arrived I found our that bo parts had been ordered for my car. After the mechanic looked at my car he told the service manager right in front of me "I can do it but I won't e able to get to any other cars until later." Remember I booked my appointment days before! So then they decide to quote me a higher price and said I needed additional repairs in an effort to discourage me from obtaining services that day. When I said I STILL wanted my car fixed, the mechanic than said "oh wait, we don't have all the equipment required to do it today." I finally left after the service manager yelled at me to be patient. I called the listed customer service number to file a complaint. I was told that Area Manager, Tina H. would contact me. It has been over a month. I haven't received not one call, not one email. Nothing. Obviously Firestone cares NOTHING about customer service. I will continue to warn people about this company and employees. I will continue to discouraged friends and family from using this establishment.

Absolutely went above and beyond. We drove in from out of town and needed a new tire due to a pot hole. They worked with our warranty company and got us in and fixed in less than an hour. Very helpful and courteous staff.Service: TiresService: Tires

First off all the employees here were nice and I had no issues with them. I gave the employee my keys at 1:50 for a 2:00 appointment. There were 3 other customers in the waiting area. My car was pulled into the shop at 2:14. Around 2:44 the supervisor Jeff came and asked me where my wheel hub lock was located. I am not sure why they didn t ask sooner, maybe they spent 30 minutes looking for it . My car was lifted up for the tire change at 2:49. I guess scheduling an appointment did not really help me out. My car did not come out of the bay until 3:42. I did not leave until a little after 4:00. I was annoyed that it took so long for this service. There might have been several factors as to why it took so long, but I was not told. The next time I need tires I will plan on going somewhere else.

The mister at the desk, Dewayne, is great. He's got great customer service. He's polite and apologetic over the wait times. But.. I scheduled an oil change and tire rotation. It took 3 hours. I took my company vehicle in for work and it took 2 and half days for tires and oil change. My brother took his truck in for a tune up and that took 4 days. It's quite pricey too for any service it seems.. I will come back for anything other than oil change because I get serviced faster at other places, but my company uses this company frequently so they tell me to choose firestone. I wanted to try their sister store on Mayfair st, but its always packed out.

Quick service, multiple tire options in stock. Saved me a ton of money over what my dealership said ( mack grubbs hyundai) . In and out in less than an hour for 4 tires. Service guy was exceptional. They've earned a lifetime customer.

I only rated one star because a star rating was required to write the review.The initial contact I made to this location was exceptional. The assistant manager was very professional and his customer service skills were outstanding. However, some guy named Adrian (possibly the store manager as he was the only one in the shop who did not have visual signs of shop work), got involved in my vehicle concern and things rapidly went downhill from there.He was very unprofessional. He does not have good active listening skills and thinks his side of the narrative is the only side. His phone etiquette lacks and is not customer service friendly. When I returned to the shop to pick-up my vehicle, he had me wait while he finished doing what he was doing on his cell phone.The customer service department called him on my behalf. They said he was very rude to them as well and did not listen to what they were trying to say.I think the assistant manager is a better manager fit for business and the overall store as his communication skills with myself (and other customers I witnessed him deal with) was stellar. It would be to this location s advantage to offer Adrian some type of additional training or just allow the Assistant Manager to deal with the customers. I will not return to this location for any of my vehicle needs with the kind of service, or lack there of, that I received today. Unfortunately, one rotten apple can spoil the whole bunch.

Bought 1200 dollar tires, took 3.5 hours which is fine. I go to leave, notice something is wrong. So I came back explained it. Technician didn't even take it for a drive or put it back on the lift to examine it but relayed the phrase. "Could be anything" to the guy at the front desk (which was the only one who acted like he didn't hate his life). Turns out I had a falling wheel bearing. They also didn't do an alignment.

I asked the guy if he could do a brake job on my Chevy truck and his response was not encouraging, he said "We can take a look at it." Needless to say I went to a different shop where they assured me they could fix it. Firestone should train the staff better.

First time to this location. I live out of state and had two nails in my tire about 1/8 of an inch apart. Thus I needed to replace this tire. They found my record in their computer and had my same tire in stock. I was in and out quickly even though they had people with appointments. (I was a walk in.) I have always liked Firestone. They seem honest and try very hard to please. They will have my business in the future.

I've purchased 4 sets of tires over the years for different vehicles and every time received excellent service with reasonable pricing and quick turnaround times. The staff here is polite and helpful and if you need to kill time waiting on service, The Thirsty Hippo and the public library are just around the corner. Highly recommend!

Update: I changed my review from 1 star to 3 after I spoke with Kevin when I picked up my car today about everything. He said that he would address the missed opportunities to ensure that the customer was aware of closing time and an employee being in the store but not allowing a customer to pay. Initial review:If it is within one hour of closing, all customers whose services will be complete before closing should be called and informed/reminded of your closing time. We are new to the area, and this was my first time visiting this location. When I dropped off my vehicle, no one mentioned the closing time. At 5:34 pm, I received a call that my car was read for pick up. I WAS NOT informed that I had to pay and pick up before 6pm. Even if I was informed for the first time at 5:34pm, I had to be in the immediate area for me to arrive within 26 minutes. I arrived around 615pm to a dark store with the empty cashier drawer on the counter. The only employee there told me that I COULD NOT pay or pick up my vehicle until TOMORROW! I have to be at work at 7am which is your opening time.

Update: when I took my car in for a new tire the Tire Pressure Monitor for that tire worked perfectly. On the way home an error message came up. I didn t worry because i figured it needed resetting. Took it back today and they reset it. Drove 10 miles error message again. Took it back. They supposedly replaced a sensor. Drove 10 miles error message AGAIN!! Now none of the monitors work. Not taking it back. They do not know what they are doing. Going to contact corporate headquarters.This has nothing to do with the service but the waiting experience. When I arrived a movie was on the television that was loud and filled with profanity. After about 45 minutes the clerk changed it to politically charged show (The View). I got up an walked to the other side of the room to keep from hearing it. Maybe they need to stick to shows like HGTV or something that isn t controversial or isn t using profanity.

Ordered a new battery online and they had it ready and taken care of. The only issue and it's so slight I wasn't too concerned but my husband was, I left the receipt inside and they didn't bother letting me or trying to catch me. With a battery having a core charge, it's important to have it. I realized I'd forgotten it and went back inside where the guy pointed it out to me.

Great service team. I got an oil change that was fast service. I have a squeak in my brakes. They inspected them and found them to be okay. They said the squeaking would go away. They didn't try to sell me brakes that I didn't need. That's Integrity!
