Came in for a battery replacement on my girlfriend s vehicle during the cold snap due to cranking issues, the salesperson named Mathew had some trouble figuring out how to swap it out. I tried to explain that he was putting the terminal on wrong and he tried to argue with me. He had a bad attitude during the situation so it wasn t a pleasant autozone experience and judging by these other reviews it s nothing new at this location. Won t be coming back.

Great customer service.. However did not have a motorcycle cold crank amps.275.Will aleays stop where the customer is important. As I was leaving... Saw a man going out side with a battery machine to help a lady.

The older gentleman there helped me replace a battery that was on it's last legs. He explained the entire process, checked my battery for me, and did the complete replacement in a flash! I couldn't believe how quickly the entire process went from purchase to installation to me telling him to have a good weekend. He was very knowledgeable, kind, approachable, and is an excellent example of what customer service should be. I'll definitely send you any business I can!

I stopped in store on Hwy 98 West Hattiesburg. My check engine light was on. Mgr Sean ran a diagnostic on my vehicle and provided me with the results. Extremely helpful and friendly! Thanks, Sean!

This store has lousy customer service. Eddie was extremely rude on the phone and doesn t even know how their store or website operates. This experience will be heard at the highest levels and you can bet your a$$ on that!

I was here 4months ago and I did the three days Grace and came home I learned a lot from just by talking to different ones that had the addiction and I've prayed and now here I am I've been clean for 4 months now the one and only one reason I am going back is to clear my arrest records in Puvis police department and pearl River County jail dockets

I was in Autozone today attempting to diagnose a stall problem with my truck. Jamal waited on me and worked through the issue providing some potential things to check - he could not have been more helpful. Genuinely cared about customer service. Very nice guy! Thanks Jamal for the terrific experience. I'll be back.

I've had a pleasant experience everytime I've gone to Autozone. Today especially was excellent. Adrianne went above and beyond helping me troubleshoot my vehicle to determine if my battery or alternator was the issue. Steven was also very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Both of these people were very friendly and happy to help. Thank you for the excellent service!

So, three women roll into a automotive store and you can hear the eyes roll. But not this time. Micheal was amazingly helpful and didn't talk down to us when my car was overheating. He even checked it out for me and was seriously helpful. The best Autozone experience in a while. Thank you, Micheal.

Just left 3 mins ago to have my battery and alternator tested, the older man did not even want to help and was very rude, because his scanner came back as Retry noise detected , I will no longer use this location and will use the other location where they test without issue.

Jamahl Groves at Autozone store #0590 (6114 Hwy 98 in Hattiesburg, MS) went above and beyond to help identify the problem I was experiencing with my car's battery and also help resolve that problem. I had noticed a few times over the last several weeks that my car stuttered a bit while I was driving it. I finally decided to have my battery looked at so I went to the closest Autozone near me. My battery was checked and I was told I needed a new battery. I wanted another opinion so I continued to run a few errands and then I stopped at Advance Auto Parts and had my battery checked again. I was told my battery was fine - now that I had two different opinions, I decided to get a third opinion at the Autozone on Hwy 98. Asked to have my battery checked and Jamahl came out to take a look. His monitor showed my battery was still a good one. He asked for more background around what led me to have the battery checked and also took a closer look at the battery itself. He noticed that the battery hold down and grounding latch was loose and did not seem to fit the smaller battery. He found a spare spacer and was able to help install that to where the battery ground down latch fit much more snugly and thus avoid what was likely causing my problems in the first place - the occasional bump in the road that caused the hold down and grounding latch to bump up against the battery terminals and cause the battery to short out for a second. I know that was a long explanation but long story short is that Jamahl really took the time to not just test my battery but to stop and ask for more background context and then try and identify what brought me to the store in the first place. And then not only did Jamahl identify the most likely cause of my problem but he also took the time to show me what I needed and then help install that battery spacer. I'm very grateful for his compassion, leadership, and technical knowledge!!

I need a coil for my Altima, the manager did a diagnostic check found the one that was the problem, was able to purchase the part,and have a TRUe FRIND AND BROTHER TO put in on the car. The manager Vera and the young man Lorenzen was very nice and FRIENDLY AUTO ZONE 98, HATTIESBURG

I had a battery problem in my car. I first had to get it jump started and then I had the battery checked at AutoZone. They had the battery in stock and installed it for me in a short amount of time. Very pleased and satisfied.

Here is my story: My family and I were coming back from a Florida vacation, 8 hours away from home and were hungry for breakfast. Little did we know, that breakfast would be the last breath of our current car battery. So there I am, sitting in a dead car with a patient wife and not so patient toddler; oh and it was hot as Hades outside. Superman came wearing an Autozone shirt, with a secret identity named Timothy S. This guy was nothing short of awesome, met us at the restaurant where he patiently nursed our battery back to life. He found us the right battery, changed the old for the new, and even tested our alternator. Did I mention he brought water out to my wife and child while he was helping us out? 5 stars for the store and Tim, thanks again guys!

Autozone is great because the staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. If they do not have a part in stock, they can order it for quick delivery. I don't use any other auto parts store.
