I needed a driver side head replaced on the ole girl. After finally talking myself into bringing it to a shop. I towed her on in and they got to it. I got a call soon after with her being done and she runs better that ever. Even smoked a new Dodge ram Cummins truck. They took good care of my old work truck and I thank them fully for it. Will definitely bring future work in

MASSIVE Thanks to O'Briens Diesel & Performance Staff for getting my truck back on the road. With me being a single father in the military they were very understanding and able to work my pay schedule to get me the services my truck needed. The display of communication from front desk staff as the medium between the mechanics and myself was VERY reassuring throughout the process. As long as I am on the Gulf Coast they will be my first and last thought of where to take my truck no matter the issue. Once again, Thank you!!!

I when I got there the door was locked and they were at lunch. The owner was in his truck and actually got out and introduced himself as the owner. He was a very cordial and friendly guy. I dropped off my 2006 F350. They had it only A couple of days. The gentleman at the counter explained everything when I took it in and then when I picked it up. He handled every question professionally, and the truck has never run better. It actually runs better now than when I bought it. I am very happy with the work they have done. They will have all my work in the future. My old Mechanic will be missing the money from now on. I can t think them all enough. If they had six or seven stars that s what I would give them.

HIGHLY RECOMMANDED ++if there were 6 stars I would say 6Chris and his team were greatI have a European camper and they agreed to take care of a park brake failureNot having the part (an air circuit valve) they managed to adapt another part so that we could ride again without having to wait too long.The whole team was very friendly and very efficient quicklyThe prices are correctI highly recommend this serious and responsive company, they know everything about mechanicsThank you guys

Whether you have a stock truck, fleet truck or full out street/race truck... O'Briens Diesel & Performance will have your back.Not many shops will have the service personnel or even the company owner be willing to come help you look at your vehicle in the lot to help you diagnose an issue. I take my 1000 hp street truck to these guys and I also have brought my stock truck to them for service needs! You don't get people that wanna take your money and send you packing like some shops! With these guys you get real people that care, everyone at this place will get their hands dirty for you! If your stuck on the road they will take care of you even!It's hard to find people to trust your toys too!!! I don't even second guess leaving my 1000 hp truck with these guys!!Don't take shops like this for granted!Support your local guys that fought tooth and nail to be where they are also!!O'Briens will always have my business!

I took my 2017 Ram 2500 in for a routine oil change, they let me know of some issues that I need to address, I knew they were telling the truth bc I had previously taken it in at the Ram dealership and the same issues were noted. There labor rate is way fair and beats many others. They have my future business for sure. Thanks for the great service guys!

These guys are the best. Thought my rear main seal was leaking so called them to see if they could handle it. They went above and beyond. Turns out my oil pan was cracked in 2 different places, which they were able to weld until i can find a good used pan ($1700 new!!). Any other shop would have just changed the seal and shoved me out the door. Huge thanks to Chris and the guys.

I felt pretty confident bringing my truck here with all the high reviews, but I was pretty disappointed. I brought my truck in for a simple oil and fuel filter change and everything seemed ok. The next morning I check my oil and find that it was way overfilled! They did correct it and apologized for the error, but if I hadn t checked my oil their error could have been a costly one.

If you are needing a great diesel mechanic that you can trust to do the job right the first time, only be charged for the work that they really do, and do it in a very timely fashion this is the place. The staff is straight forward and honest. The price for service is fair. What a breath of fresh air to find a shop like this to work on my truck. Special thanks to O Brien Diesel & Performance for being there when I needed my 2000 F250 7.3 worked on. Wow what a great experience!

First off let me say, I met the owner while he was starting out working at his home. When I met him he did very Good work & timely turn around. I had older Box trucks, medium duty trucks. I bring my first truck to him he did a wonderful Job. Sometime after that I brought him another box truck I owned, by this time he had a building. Well I trusted his work. I drove my truck In with minor issue, the truck drives. Well that was in September of 2020, let s just say they Lied, Con, hide and also bleed me of over 12k in parts and labor for 3 years to never fix my truck. While using my truck to move and store shop equipment/things inside of it. They lied hired meth Heads to greet customers and fix in customer s vehicles. The owner would never come out to speak with me to resolve issues at any point. This is Bad customer service. All they want to do is take upfront money and lie and hide. This place I wouldn t recommend!! They do Not stand behind their word or work. They are pure TRASH! Trash, Trash. Keep safe of them I ve watched them do several customers like this including a friend that i recommend before they screwed me. So again if you want to be screwed DONT take any Diesel Work to this CONS-mans place of business.

I needed a lot of work done to my truck, and I couldn't have picked a better place to have it done! O'Brien's helped me to figure out exactly what needed to be done, what could wait a little bit, and stuff I should work on in the near future. As a girl, I have trouble going to places that treat me like I don't know about my diesel truck, and I for sure don't know everything, but they treated me with respect and the fact that I knew a lot of what I was talking about and some things that needed immediate attention. They were quick and professional with their work, and their prices were fair. I will definitely continue taking my truck here for all of my automotive needs!

As a female it s tough to find a shop I can trust to work on my vehicle, I called Tony and Brian ask if they could make some major repairs to my vehicle, what I thought was wrong with it was only part of the problem. Tony carefully explained to me all repairs need to stop my oil leak. Job was done in a very timely manner, they stayed in communication, updating me along the way. Tony also let me know that due to my vehicle being a manual transmission and the type of oil leak o had they would be sure to check the clutch disk to make sure the fibers hadn t received any type of oil damage! Ladies trust them, theses guys rock! I can t thank them enough for the job well done! Very knowledgeable and impressive staff there to take care of the need of the customer!!!

best diesel shop on the coast, got my dads truck up and running and it s been months still runs great, 10/10 recommend. extremely nice staff as well. had a new nsync key overnighted so he could work all features on the dash!!

After further review.. this shop scammed me .. watch for the quote switch.. get them to write what they did down before you leave.. in the end I paid this shop to change one bank 4 injectors was the verbal.. they changed one and charged me for all four .. and the problem was not even the injector .. L5P ... They all have the same problem and these guys don't know what it is .. shady mechanic practice here

Amazing business! My husband took his truck to them with a very short time frame of 2 weeks to get his F250 almost completely bullet-proofed due to me getting stationed at a different base, but Chris was more than willing to get it done for us in that time frame and kept us updated with any and everything we needed to know. They even called shortly after the work was done to see if everything was running smoothly. We have gone to a few different shops in the area and they are by far the best in several ways. Very friendly and professional, on top of exceptional work. Very pleased with our experience here! A big thank you to Chris and everyone that helped get this done for us.

Had questioned the salesman about warranty on the 6.0 bulletproofing, sales guy said any tune or tuner hooked to the truck would void their warranty even if only used for monitoring vitals. Made this issue known with the marketing team and was told i was lying and "glad you aren't a customer" so here you go, you guys earned this 1 star.

The upmost respect for the guys behind O'brien diesel and performance. As a technician out of state I rarely have time to work on my own diesel. I simply would not trust anyone else. Quality repairs, finished in a timely manner, and all around hospitality have time and time again have shown the integrity of this shop.

100% recommend! Dustin O Brien is great dude and knows his stuff! Guys in the front office were great as well. I m extremely particular about the way my trucks runs. If I ever have any other issues I can t figure out on my own I will be going here again hands down.

Great customer service, knowledgeable, affordable, and reliable !!! Normally I would be skeptical about taking my truck to a mechanic other than my father, however, Dustin and his team are top notch. He wouldn t even let me have the truck back until he had her perfect! He will also recommend and send you to other local businesses to make sure you get the best products and upgrades for your truck. Finally, a no-nonsense diesel repair shop. Chris and his team are efficient, knowledgeable and professional in their approach. They took extra time to educate/ discuss repair options regarding my 2000 7.3. All staff were very respectful and friendly. I'll be coming back for all my diesel repair needs, hands-down.

Chris and the team at O Briens were top notch. Im a captain offshore and due to scheduling constraints of my hitch rotation, it took forever to get my truck in to do work AFTER I had already had them order the parts. They were extremely accommodating and were never pushy about having the work done. The work was done in a timely manner and from when I dropped the truck off pick up was only 3 days. They even went the extra mile and washed my truck. Was not expecting that. The truck didn t look that good the day I picked it up from the dealership. It s obvious this local company values their customers and goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved. Top notch crew and will do all my diesel business with my 6.7 Cummins with them in the future.

This is an outstanding shop and business! They just replaced my motor and many other parts. Now that I have calmed down, I will keep this review as professional as possible. I am the co-owner of Family 1st Transport LLC. O Brien Diesel company kept our truck for nearly 2 months (7 weeks). Long story long, we would call and check in every other day for 7 WEEKS. Each time we called we were told the guy that s working on the truck just stepped out, someone would call us back with updates. That Never happened!!! This back and forth went on for weeks. So when my partner finally took my advice, which was by the way.. don t go there from the start!!! But, anywho..lesson learned!!! We decided to go and pick the truck up and take it somewhere else (Empire Truck Sales). When we get there is when they tell us they didn t feel comfortable working on that OLDER model truck. That the diagnostic machine needed to diagnose the issue had been out of service. AT NO POINT IN THE LAST 7 WEEKS WAS THIS EVER STATED. Then he proceeds to tell me me Pamela Andrews!! That there was rust in the gas tank; that I should get a chain and run it through the gas tank to clear the rust out. OK, so I m thinking this is what I should do?? .IM NOT A F@&KING MECHANIC!!! That s the reason, I bought the truck there to the mechanic shop. Then had the audacity to charge $170 just to tell me that after keeping my damn truck for 7 WEEKS. Needless to say, Empire replaced the gas tank in 2 weeks and this OLD model truck is running brand new. Save yourself the aggravation and wasted time. Spend the extra and get your repairs done in a timely manner.SOMEWHERE ELSE!! Word of mouth goes a long way, and I will share this experience with any and everyone that will listen!

See Chris and Dustin at O Brien diesel and performance the best diesel shop I ever experienced. The customer service is awesome. I took my bus in there running not so good. I thought it just ran that way because of the year of the bus. And to my surprise we re not picked up my bus it ran like a 2021 brand new bus I could not believe it how great the bus ran. I was truly impressed and blown away of the quality work they have done! Thank you so much for giving me a great service!!! Again wow again thank you ! If you don t believe me go see for yourself?

While on a family road trip passing through Gulfport our truck began to have issues. We were lucky enough to find O'Briens Diesel and Performance. They were able to take the truck in right away. The staff there was phenomenal, they put us ahead of the local work for a diagnostic test. Gave the kiddos some coloring books to entertain them. Long story short, it was a easy fix and they did not even charge us (We needed that break). Made some recommendations and sent us on our way. This outfit is phenomenal and I highly recommend them to anybody with a diesel truck.

Best shop of mechanics I have worked with! Quick to diagnose and solve problems. They always answer the phone and give an accurate estimate of when they can work on the vehicle and always help to reduce costs as best they can! 10/10 recommend them for everyday and special needs on your vehicle!
