I brought my Mazda Miata to these people for a rough idle and intermittent misfire, along with a request to install some front shocks I didn't want to tackle myself. You hold yourself out as an expert European car specialist. You assured me that I would receive the same attention to detail required for those brands. Your work was done improperly and you damaged my car.The lug nuts on the front driver's side were barely more than hand tight. I asked that you set my tire pressure to 27psi per the manual. Fronts were 17 & 14psi when I checked. You damaged the driver's front wheel. These wheels were freshly reconditioned with no blemishes. $200You improperly assembled the driver's side strut assembly and the top spring cushion is way out of position. You reused old parts for which I provided new. That's about $500 to correct.I don't know how you removed the struts but they're terribly gouged up. The zip tie I used to ensure the stainless driver's side brake line remains clear of the tire appears to be the same one I installed. It would have needed to be cut and replaced if the control arm were removed as required by Mazda procedure (and common sense). I paid approximately $260 for the shocks you damaged. The headlights were recently refinished and perfectly smooth. Somehow you managed to badly gouge the driver's headlight. Those aren't cheap. There's fresh scratches on both sides at the rear of the car. These were not there before I left the car in your care. That's another $1k or so.You reported all sensors were working after your initial inspection. The engine idle was erratic but there was no check engine light at the time. After you worked on the car, the check engine light is on and there are multiple sensor issues including the coolant temp sensor, which was *disconnected* when I picked it up.You made "adjustments" to the throttle body *calibration* screw after I expressly advised you it is a "no-touch" setting and Mazda states that any change to the setting results in the requirement to replace the throttle body. You left "witness marks" on the set screw locknut, and your technician proudly stated to me that he "adjusted" the factory non-adjustable setting after I had repeatedly advised that it must not be touched. That's about $2k.To add insult to injury, It appears from a visual inspection that you failed to clean/decarbon the throttle body while it was off and readily in hand, which I contend anyone competent would do as a matter of course when diagnosing a fuel/air/misfire issue. Before you began work, you stated more than once that you would not charge me for "diagnostic" time. I'm unclear how you decided it is appropriate to charge me for time spent diagnosing when the primary driveability problem remains undiagnosed & unresolved, since:- you *gave up* on correcting the primary issue for which I brought it to your shop, and- the vehicle has *more problems* than when I left it with you.I have attached photos of the damage and improper workmanship so others can judge for themselves. I'll be seeking $ for replacement parts and labor to undo the damage done while in your possession, including, but not limited to:- new front shocks because there is no way to know if you compromised the shocks' integrity- repair of the paint that you damaged- replacement or refurbished headlights that you damaged- a replacement throttle body for the one you adjusted and thereby made unusable according to Mazda.*** Responding to JAG's reply (see screenshot). That's pretty thin skin you got there, JJ. How do your belligerent ad hominem insults negate the above facts and my very real pictures of your "work"? However you conduct *your* business, this is indeed how you have conducted *our* business. Too cowardly to contact or respond directly, or mitigate your liability, yet you replied here then apparently deleted. Do you self-annointed "pros" at JAG know how to read a shop manual, or MS statutes? I'll have the wheel/shocks/TB and that YouTube patch on display when we meet before a judge.. ***

I would recommend these guys for repairs, they worked on my 15 Jag and completed the work on time. While completing the repairs they found another issue and were able to repair that as well. They even were able to apply a discount for the repairs because it was right before Christmas. I will definitely use them again.

I had some issues with my Mini Coontryman, took it to BMW and they told me they couldn t work on it. I called around until I found this shop, the owner answered and welcomed me with open arms and said they could help me out. The team here; while small, is incredibly nice, patient, and welcoming. It s a pain to get a Mini worked on due to the technology in use, but they made quick work of my issue. They were incredibly helpful and explained everything to me well to help me understand why I was having the issues I had.I would recommend this shop to anybody with a Mini who needs help with their vehicle. These guys know what they re doing. It was a 10/10 experience for me, and I will be back in the future for any needs I have. Thank you guys for your help!

What can I say about my experience with these awesome mechanics? Simply, they are family. Jamie & Wes truly treated me like family and made my experience the best ever. I was having trouble with my 5281 and Wes diagnosed the problem head on. They made the necessary repairs in a timely manner and I didn't have to lose time from work. The cost was very affordable and I would like to recommend them to any one with a BMW or Mercedes. These days so many auto shops are dishonest and put financial woes on families. Jamison AUTO Group is honest and helps families as best they can.Victoria & Willie

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR VEHICLE. Took my car in 2 weeks ago. Stated all the problems it had. Told them it shows it was an O2 sensor issue they said it was not that. They guaranteed it was the timing chain and it would fix all problems including my ac going out. Had to constantly CALL to get a quote and update. They LIED over and over but promised my car would be better and 100 percent fixed. Got my car back yesterday after paying over $1600 dollars. But trusted their 100 percent guarantee and promise. Paid and ran my car home. Ac was worse and completely not working now. Hissing and hot air. Which is was working BEFORE. ENGINE STILL IDLING BAD WHICH IS MAIN REASON I BROUGHT IT IN. They claimed they fixed it. And said it could be a "new issue". I havent even had my car back for 24 hours and only drove it 5 miles today. It sounds worse than before and they ac is completely broke. Called and they stated they do not work on AC systems and the "fixed" my car. Would not offer a refund. Will not bring it back to them because they literally made my car up WORSE. Threatened me and said I can contact whoever they are "protected" and I will not get my money back. HORRIBLE BUSINESS. NO ETHICS. NO MORALS. The owner literally met my special needs son and still refusing to refund me so I can find a reputable company to fix my car so I can take him to school and run errands. DO NOT USE THEM. THEY WILL LIE TO GET MONEY AND MESS UP YOUR VEHICLE. PLEASE BEWARE. Please let my lesson be in your favor. They are corrupt and dishonest.

I have a BMW 535i. My air conditioning decided to go out during what seems to be the hottest summer in Mississippi. I called Jamison Auto Group and they ordered the part I needed right away. Today I took my car to them for what was estimated to be a 2 hour procedure. These guys finished in 45 minutes. My car s air is like new again. Not to mention they are polite and very professional. I ll be going to them for all of my car s future needs.Service: Air & cabin filter replacement

I had the rear wheel assemblies changed on my Mercedes Benz E350 by Jamie w/Jamison Auto Group. He diagnosed it properly and was upfront with pricing while giving the entire car a good look over. I highly recommend his shop for your vehicle needs. He is experienced and honest. A great guy to trust with your vehicle. I will definitely use him in the future.

So I brought my Mercedes in for a check engine light and a squeaking coming from the rear suspension, and I could not be more satisfied with the diagnosis, repair, and customer service demonstrated by Jaime and his crew! Unlike a previous mechanic I had work on my car, Jaime walked me through the repair process and was very transparent about the work to be done. It turns out somewhere in the previous ownership of my 2001 E320 the entire hydraulic suspension had been disabled with some really shoddy rerouting of suspension lines. The bottom line, the vehicle was bottoming out and pretty unsafe to drive. Jaime not only showed me what was messed up, but also updated me on the progress of the repair. The car now drives like an entirely different car, smooth, responsive, and doesn t squeak. All in all, Jamie and his folks did a lot of work on the back and I am thoroughly happy with the work. I will be bringing my car back for regular service now that I have found this place. Highly Recommended!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic

Jamie and Wes took in my Mini Cooper when I had no where else to turn. They are more than fair, they treat you like family and they actually care about your vehicle as well as you. They are unlike any mechanics I've been around in the past. They share their knowledge and offer advice that will help, without hesitation. Best service and humans !!

Jamie and Wes are definitely the guys you can trust to get the job done on your vehicle. They are very experienced in the work they perform and strive in providing nothing but the best service to their customers. They have helped my friends and I many times with problems with our vehicles in the past and have never disappointed in fixing them. I was also deeply saddened to see someone had the audacity to give them a one star review. I would say do not believe any negative reviews for this business as they barely have any at all and an overall 5 star rating for good reason. BEST SHOP IN GULFPORT! Bless you guys at Jamison Auto Group. Keep working hard!

This is the second time I've used them. He did an awesome job on my first BMW. I needed a brake job done on my new one and he did not disappoint. He not only did my brake job but also pointed out some things that needed attention that most mechanics would have overlooked. He fixed them in a timely manner and had me going again. Top notch professional. Very honest and trustworthy, I will definitely use and recommend him for all future automobile needs.Service: Brakes

My husband and I are from out of town and needed immediate service. We had called a couple places prior and we weren t able to get our vehicle in. Since we own a Mini Cooper that limits our options right away.Jamison Auto came recommended from someone else though the woman wasn t sure if they d have availability. So I looked them up and yes certified mini. Crossing my fingers I spoke with a young man, sounding very genuine on the phone as I explained what was happening. He was friendly and told me they could take us in right away. I had a good feeling from the person on the other side of the phone and he told us the diagnostic fee and hourly labor cost if they do the work, so we headed to his location. We were greeted at the door and we were able to discuss what was going on and he checked a few things and confirmed our suspicions that the alternator was faulty. We met the owner as well and we re able to get to know these people a little as they were checking for parts and said they d have the parts by early afternoon and the car would be ready by the end of the day.I just can t express how good we felt leaving the car in there hands. We were from out of town and didn t know anyone there and they made us feel like good friends. The work was completed as promised and the value was spot on. Can t thank you guys enough.Services: Electrical repair, Auto engine diagnostic

Jamie and Wes are excellent mechanics and even better people! After inheriting a 1991 Mercedes, I needed a mechanic to check it over and give an estimate on repairs. After one mechanic scared me with a high estimate, but no diagnosis, I almost gave up on the car. I decided to try one more place and came across Jamison Auto Group. They promptly replied to an email inquiry, told me to drop the car off at my convenience for full diagnostics. Jamie was very conversational, calming my fears of the worst with the vehicle, taking the time to explain the car and his experience in working on them. Within a week, I had a detailed list of what was needed ranked in order from most pressing to least. The overall total was much less that my initial quote and actually addressed all the issues. When the work was complete, Wes walked me through all they had done and gave pointers on maintenance going forward. The car drives better than I could have imagined!I was so satisfied, I immediately dropped off a 2002 Volvo. Other mechanics gave unrealistic estimates, even telling us the car wasn t worth fixing. While not normally servicing Volvos, Jamie and Wes promised to look it over to determine what it needed, and if they felt comfortable completing the repairs. They gave a fair estimate fixing all the known issues as well as some surprises. The car was picked up and now drives better than it has in years!Jamie and Wes were honest in their estimates, and stuck to the original quotes. I was well informed of surprises, even had pictures sent confirming issues and repairs. Geneva, in the office, saw to it I got the right parts at the best price! If you re looking for an honest mechanic, look no further! I live in Hattiesburg, but their service is worth the drive. I will not use any other mechanics!Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

I spoke to Jamie on multiple occasions regarding some transmission repair work on a BMW I had recently purchased. While I ultimately ended up returning the car to the dealership, I was thoroughly impressed by Jamie throughout the process, both personally and professionally. He was very patient with me, taking time out of his day to answer my numerous questions about the "hows" and "whys" of my potential transmission job. He clearly knows his stuff when it comes to BMWs!Although he ended up not getting the work from me (due to my returning of the car), he still took the time to follow up to with make sure there was nothing else I needed, two weeks later. That meant a lot. After dealing with repair shops that leave you wondering if you're being taken advantage of, Jamie was a breath of fresh air, and I will certainly keep his number in my phone for future needs. Kudos!Service: Transmission

Jamison auto group was recommended to me by O'Reillys auto parts. I called and spoke with Wes. He was very helpful over the phone and told me to come on over. He greeted me at my truck before I even came in. Within a few minutes he had diagnosed the problem and told me he could have the job done while I waited. What!?! That never happens! While waiting, the owner came out and introduced himself and told me that he appreciated me giving them my business. Before I even got comfortable they were done. The price was more than fair and Wes even docked some of the labor hours off of my final bill because...well just because that's how these guys seem to be. Great shop great guys and great family atmosphere. From a brand new Beamer to an old F150 like I have, they can do it. Im a new customer starting today
