Chucks Automotive is seriously the best place I've ever been to for car repairs. I've lived in PA, ND, and now MS and have NEVER felt as comfortable and well taken care as I do when I bring my car to Chucks. I know absolutely ZERO about cars and I know car dealerships/car repair places can easily take advantage of that, but Chucks is the one place that I trust wholeheartedly. I had to get my car towed on Sunday and unfortunately Firestone was the only place open near me that I could bring my car to. When Firestone took a look at my car and told me the problem and the price it was going to be?! I could've fell over. They wanted over $800 to fix it and by Monday I had my car towed right to Chucks who didn't even have me spend HALF of that price. They are such genuine and honest people who truly care about fixing your vehicle and are not just there for the paycheck. I would pay for anything and everything as long as it gets done by Chucks Automotive. Thank you guys for always taking care of me and my 2003 mercedes!

This is the best mechanic shop I ve been to. Their customer service exceeded my expectations. Every other shop I tried to talk to either were really rude or didn t have time for my questions , but Chuck s Automotive was very patient with me and gave me a fine layout of detail for detail of what I needed. They also called me to inform me of the status of my car and asked before proceeding with other repairs it needed. It was out in a timely manner despite having other vehicles there. They also fixed my headliner that snapped off on my convertible top to prevent it from hitting you in the face whenever you put the top back up. I just discovered it was fixed. They go above and beyond for their customers. I can t express how much gratitude I have for them. This is THE BEST shop around here. Customer service skills is a huge thing for me. They were so polite too!!! I would give them a million stars if I could. I ll definitely be back again in the future. I m glad I found my forever mechanic shop. My love and I will be ready for cruising the coast now too. Thank you so much!!!!!!

Often feel like I am being taken advantage of whenever I go to car dealerships and car mechanics. However, Chuck s is my favorite place to go to, and will always be my favorite place to go to. I will pay anything and everything they suggest because I trust them wholeheartedly. I don t say that lightly because I hate a lot of people in general. But they work on my 2002 Tacoma and I have peace of mind.

This place, is very professional they were friendly.They didn't have a problem with me explaining to them that I was very particular about my car. I had some major work done. Replacing the rear main seal Valve cover gasket replacing AC belt and alternator belt. etc They kept me informed before doing any of the service. And what really impress me was I was able to talk to the the mechanic and he informed me of things that he saw and what I need to address later. At the end of the day what I'm saying is that I will recommend this place highly for the service. And the fact that they took the time to explain to me And I felt comfortable to to trust this company with my car.

Friendliest staff ever for an automotive repair shop! Work was done in a timely manner and was right. That and they are honest about their work.Chuck and his staff have once again proven they are the only shop in town you need to go too. My new car, my wife's Jeep and my son's car have all been taken care of as if they were their own. Thank you Chuck!Edit: Just picked up my wife's Jeep Grand Cherokee from having the transmission replaced. Jeep drives great and they didn't charge me for unnecessary repairs. They did the job as fast as they could and did it right. Thanks again guys!Services: Auto engine tuning, A/C installation & repair

I brought my car in for a CarMax warranty claim to have the cv axle and an O2 sensor replaced. They actually cared enough to take the time to inspect other parts of my drivetrain and discovered I needed more than that replaced. They got the extra work covered under my claim as well, and I ended up not spending a dime. They replaced a cv axle, O2 sensor, transmission mount and driveshaft within a week. It drives pretty much like new again. They made what would normally be a headache of a situation very easy for me. Extremely friendly and honest guys. I live in Vancleave, but I'd be willing to make the drive to have them work on my car again if needed. Highly recommend.

okay first I would like to start off an say do not come unless you expect more money then you wanted to spend. When we got the car back from the place, it was damaged all over the right back side and we have before and after pictures. If our car wasn t even safe there I don t think your car would be safe. Just be careful out there because they don t even care that this ppl who own the place dosnt even care abt the scratching that came from them. The paint was also scratched off in certain places as well. There was also water all in my car bc they left it open while raining for a split second so the back seat was socked, and all the window work so nothing was leaking. DO NOT COME bc it s not even worth it. And yes I might not have been there but the way service is, there not great Ppl.They should really not play wit ppl like that, and if y all got some dumb as* comment then say it bc I m prepared to show pictures or better yet on every single app you own Your getting 1 star

Best shop on the coast hands down , they actually list to the costumer. Reasonable priced for the caliber of work and professionalism. Would defnetly recommend. Took my car to 3 diferent shops and none of them could figure it out or deal with it . These guys had an answer immediately.

I have been doing business with chucks for almost 3years now. They do an excellent job. They are very honest, try their best to give you the best price, give you good advice about you car issues and treat you like family. No matter how busy they are they will fit you in. They are the only place I will go because I can trust them. I appreciate the hard work they do.

They are crooks, Shabby work do not honor warranties. The only way you got away with it was I had a family emergency. I got the recording and the mechanic that are willing to tell how your shop butchered my truck. So now, if you want me to stop telling my story, you take me court. Because I'm going to keep telling the truth every day, and in every setting, I am end.

Definitely recommend! They helped me yesterday when my starter on my 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe failed and left me stranded!Had it towed there and they jumped right on it! Chuck sold and is long gone. So much for excellent pricing. Good luck to the new owners...update..wasn't insulting new owners I wished you luck and I'm going to miss chucks pricing. Front pads and rotor labor used to be $65. Now it $100. Your pricing is the same as all other shops. I still wish you luck...I ran a tire and service franchise from 1996 to 2002 in calif so I know it's hard. Good luck and keep up the good work. No insults meant I truly wish you the best. I may still use you in the future.

I can personally attest to the excellent care and service Chuck's Automotive provided me when my car needed repairs. Not only did they do a great job fixing my car, but they also took the time to explain what repairs were needed and why. The absolute BEST auto shop on the Coast! So thankful for the team that makes Chucks, Tim and Joey especially. They were so patient with me and broke down what everything meant when finding what was wrong with my vehicle. They are timely, kind, and honest people. I will NEVER bring any of my vehicles anywhere else and wish I could give them 10 stars

We got stranded in Mississippi traveling between Florida to Texas after hitting some road debris. Looking under the car I knew by the pool of oil that we had punctured the oil pan. Without any help in sight and no dealer service available for at least 3 days I was sure our vacation was ruined. Insurance recommended Chuck and the team.They moved heaven and earth to get us back on the road the very next day after finding us some parts. I felt very comfortable with them. Chuck did everything in his power to make us feel comfortable and made everything straightforward. I could not thank them enough. 110% recommended if you're in the area.Made it to Dallas shortly after our incident with no issues. Whether it's an oil change or major repair I'd take my car to Chuck and team.Thanks for your excellent service!Services: Engine repair, Oil change

I went to get an alignment, and he said the manufacturer of Toyota Corolla s made it so they were unable to get all four wheels aligned (I own a 2010 Toyota Corolla). Told me he ll adjust my car for $350 plus tax and then align it for $79, and it was a great deal because dealerships would do it for $1500+. I went to Allen Toyota this morning, and they aligned me for $99. There was nothing stopping him from doing an alignment on my car.

Not sure why I waited so long to leave this review. I've done business with Chuck's Automotive for years with multiple vehicles. The diagnostics are accurate and the work is reliable. And they don't try and sell unnecessary repairs. If you are in a bind and need your vehicle repaired or maintenance done, you can trust that the service you receive here will get you back on the road without breaking the bank. Couldn't recommend enough!

Excellent service! My wife's car was acting up and the check engine light was on. Took it to Chuck Coats, and they had it diagnosed and called me within an hour with a quote for the price of the repair. It was very reasonable and I approved the work. A couple of hours later they call and the car was ready.Outstanding business, Highly recommend!

I went to the dealership to have some issues taken care of with my 2016 Chevy traverse it needed the rear main seal replaced and oil pan gasket replaced the dealership wanted to charge me over $4000. Seemed very over priced so I was calling around to places and chucks was recommended to me. Called them on a Monday dropped my car off Tuesday and they had it done before my trip out of town on Friday. And they were half the pric and the service was great. They kept me informed of everything. I won't take my car anywhere else

They are very good at what they do. They find the problem with your vehicle and fix it as quickly as possible without trying to hustle you out of more money. They are my guys for mechanical problems with my car and truck.
