My experience at Buchanans is nothing but remarkable. I ll say great customer service. Anyone needing transmission work l ll recommend to this shop. I do a lot of traveling and exit 38 on I-10 in Mississippi is the right place for your transmission needs.

We were in the area just for a night and our transmission went out. Luckily we were just a few miles from this shop. His price was reasonable, work was quick and excellent.

This was our 2nd vehicle to bring to Buchanan's and we are once again happy customers! Fair prices, great work, timely manner, and nice people! We had a warranty issue with the first truck, and it was taken care of quickly. An overall pleasant and easy experience! We recommend Buchanan's Transmission!!!

Had to wait almost a month to get truck fixed. It needed a new transmission. We were told they were "a little behind". A week late, yea, would've sucked but would've been ok, everyone can get in the position of being short staffed, especially due to Covid. But almost a month? No, not acceptable! Whenever we called, we were put off. It's ready on Monday, it's ready on Friday, yadda yadda, etc.It would've been more honest to say, that they don't have the capacities at this time and we should take the truck elsewhere. But of course, they gladly took the 2.5k for the transmission and worked with that money for almost a month, before finally getting our truck ready. It's an old truck that we just purchased for our relocation and to move stuff from point A to point B. Needless to say, that we had to find other means of transportation, since this took almost a month. It was put in the shop 2 weeks prior to the move.Unprofessional. Would not recommend!

To the guy that said they just want to sell a full rebuild...that's the only way to do it...there is no partial rebuild. They have a great reputation

David and team were helpful and quick with our repair. We received the diagnosis the morning after dropping the vehicle off and the repairs were completed within two weeks.

Call around to other businesses because he is over charging people I called and asked how much would he charge to put on a shift solenoid which the part is 24 dollars and he said over 1,000 and I called down town service and they said 150 his pricing wasn t sounding right

Not bad job took longer than quoted for a replacement but atleast its 3 years unlimited mileage got to take the truck back tho as I got a transmission code recently but got to get the truck running first to be able to get it over to the shop

This company is run by crooks.They will tell you that your vehicle needs a full transmission rebuild just to get the maximum out of your wallet

Very un professional in the office. I called to go et a estimate on pulling a transmission out and putting back in on a 1981 C10 hotrod. He said why I didn't let him rebuild it. I didn't know about his service. I was just referred to him. I bought my transmission from Jegs. And told me he wouldn't touch nothing he didn't rebuild. Told me he would need to rebuild the transmission which is brand new for him to put in. I told him I really needed it done and he told me tuff luck I should have known about him from the start! And hung up smh don't deal with this guy

Brought vehicle in and told them that error codes were appearing in computer. They could not diagnose problem and stated they could change out transmission solenoid to see if it fixed problem. I was amazed their diagnostic skills were so poor. Took vehicle with me since I m not in position to just throw money at it to see if it fixes problem.Took it to another place and they diagnosed it and fixed without guessing. Not sure why this place couldn t.

I deal with alot cars trucks cammed fast lifted and mr lee does me good every time and his transmissions are good no problems and worth it i have been going here sine i was 16 im 45 now thanks again mr lee for good service and always getting me back on the road
