Note from one of our contractors who stayed here for the first time Feb 2024.Please leave them a great review. The staff was great. They even saved me some breakfast when I was running late one morning. The place was very nice, clean, and the bed was amazing. I wanted to take it home with me. I had the best night's rest I have had in a very long time. I would stay there again in a heart beat.

I was here on business and stayed for 2 consecutive nights. The staff at the front desk gets 10 stars! They were all fantastic and very friendly! I had a double queen room , with a comfortable bed, nice desk area, and room bathroom. The only reason I cannot give it an overall 5 star review is the breakfast.....that parts needs work! But staff 10 stars!! I would definitely stay there again!Rooms: nicely appointed, clean, comfy beds

I always stay at this location when I come back home to Greenville to visit. The staff there is very nice and attentive. I did have a slight issue with the toilet not being properly clean. I am very familiar with the city brown water issue due to I am originally from Greenville but the actual toilet was not clean and had urine stains in it and around it. I reported it to front desk on Saturday evening which the young lady did nothing about but its not her job either she is not housekeeping. I went out to buy products to clean toilet from dollar store. The actual manager never did follow up with me on this I was in room 317. Breakfast was good but boring and to be honest I am a little disappointed in Holiday Inn serving the same thing 2 days in the row basically. No bacon, no Breakfast potatoes no pancakes or waffle options and no fresh fruit. Please step your game up and stop being cheap or hire a Breakfast person who knows how to order great breakfast options for their guest so we are not served the samething in a row. I will see if this will let me add my pictures I took of the toilet. Normally I give the manager the opportunity to address the issue but since she did not I will contact corporate office about the presentation of the toilet.

This is the best facility and staff in Greenville. The folks are friendly, knowledgeable, kind and helpful. We found Rhonda to be a wonderful dining service attendant. She made sure that we had the best the facility had to offer. The rooms are all over priced in all area lodging facilities. I have been staying there since 1979 and the prices are value appropriate.Noteworthy details: Parking is free and very convenient. Breakfast is complimentary. Dining choices are limited and fresh.

Booked this hotel to visit someone in my family who is sick. Something tragic happened and I was not able to make it. In the middle of all the stress and trauma, I was still charged for the hotel. I have no reason to go and now I will forever have this is an added horrible memory. Mary Williams refused to give a refund on thanksgiving day when I ve already been through enough. Everyone will know about this. It just added salt to the wound.

We stayed here while driving the Blues trail. Decent stay overall, marred a bit by the construction going on. Beds were comfortable and room was spacious. Furniture was good and WiFi worked well. Staff were friendly and helpful. Biggest issue was cleanliness, and more than just the renovations. The water wasn t good and affected the taste of the breakfast options. The toilet looked like it hadn t been scrubbed in awhile. The towels didn t look like they had been fully washed. And the smoke detector needed replacement batteries.

Worst Holiday Inn Express we've ever stayed in.. The water was funky. The bed was comfortable but we didn't shower because of the urine color of the water. Breakfast was good and the hostess was friendly but other than that can't justify the cost. Pool was empty so the children couldn't burn off the extra energy from being cooped up in the car. Place was under remodel. One room was decent the other was stinky. When we reserved the rooms we were quoted $108 per room but were charged $362 for both and never provided a receipt so we didn't realize until we got credit card statement. Feel completely ripped off and deceived. Kind of a shady way to do business. From now on we'll avoid HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS.

DISAPPOINTING. I've stayed at this property so many times in the past and have never experienced what I did this past weekend. First I had to change rooms twice in order to receive a clean room. The first room had a very disgusting bathroom. The second room was worst. Not only was the bathroom digusting, the floor wasn't vacuumed, and there was stains and hair all over the bed. The third room wasn't the best but was better. I will say the front desk associate was very nice and pleasant. The breakfast attendant not so much. Was told since breakfast would be ending in THIRTY minutes no more food would be put out. I was very dissatisfied but due to it being memorial day weekend, I couldn't find another property with availability so I had to deal with this for 4 days. I must admit the upgrades that have been recently made to the property were nice but it makes no sense if the rooms are not clean.

This hotel is nice clean rooms amenities and fluffy towels . . . I had a handicap room and the shower was awesome chair to sit while showering was a nice change to the shower in my RV . . All i all it was wonderful . . They gave me a discount for staying 5 days only 76. After taxes and fees I recommend anyone needs a first class hotel in Greenville MS stay here you won't regret it

The staff was awesome and breakfast was good. However, our 1st room was hot and smelly. Staff pleasantly moved us to another room that did not smell and the air was better but, still not cool. I would give the staff 5 stars if I could! But, the air conditioning definitely needs an upgrade. We had to keep our curtains closed tightly in order to cool the room down to a normal temperature.

My first stay was below average yet I stayed here again a few weeks later. The front desk staff were fine. The room, though, was not so fine. Couldn't turn off the lamp built into the top of the wardrobe, so had to pull it away from the wall and unplug it. The TV had no channels available, had to reset and do a channel search. So far, just 1st world issues. The next morning I discovered that there was NO soap or body wash, just shampoo. Plus, you could not change the flow of water from tub to shower, the pull valve was stuck. That was a fun time. Eventually got the valve to open part way so I could wash and rinse slowly. Then at breakfast they were out of coffee, eggs, oatmeal, and raisin bran although they did have the healthy and nutritious Froot Loops in stock. It turns out that the construction crew working on the hotel renovation (did I mention they were undergoing renovation?) was eating breakfast there and cleaned out the breakfast area. I think I have finally learned my lesson.

The hotel is under renovation and it is not worth the $100+/night. It's not worth $50/nt. The water was a urine yellow color in the sink, the shower, and the toilet. I would not even attempt to wash my hands, not long take a shower. Thank goodness I was only staying for 1 night so I could go home and shower. I used bottled water to brush my teeth.

I was concerned about staying at this hotel after reading some of the reviews and I was relieved that it was not as bad as some of them suggested. Still, it's not up to the standard one would expect from Holiday Inn Express. The halls smell of mildew and the room has a strong chemical deodorant smell. Furniture is beat up. The toilet seat is cracked. Only two pillows on the bed. Cigarette burns on the soap dish. Clean floor in the bathroom, but all the dirt has been mopped up the outside of the bathtub. Pool was inexplicably closed. Back door doesn't shut, so the building is not secure. Nice fitness room and pleasant staff. There's a sign saying renovations are underway (and so there might be noise). But there's no reason not to replace a stained soap dish or a cracked toilet seat as soon as they're discovered.

This was my third time staying here. We visit Greenville annually and stay here for about 5 days. Unlike the previous summer visits, this year the room smelled terribly...as if the room had flooded and the carpet was still drying out. We had to go purchase something to help with the odor. The room the other part of our group was in experienced the same smelly circumstance. It was bad. The window didn't have any sheers so we had to completely close the curtains for privacy. It's either all or nothing in terms the people at the neighboring hotel having a view. The staff was still delightful. The young ladies who work the breakfast area are always so friendly. We look forward to seeing them every year. I hope they eventually add hot vegan options (almond or soy milk, veggie sausage, tofu scramble,...).Other than the smelly room, the condensation within the window after the rain storm, no sheers on the window and the smoking that takes place right outside the entrance, it was okay. We're considering trying a different hotel next year.

I didn t stay at this hotel but I did do business there this morning. The lady at the front desk was very nice and extremely helpful getting me squared away. I also had the pleasure of interacting with Rhonda and she was equally as nice and pleasant.I m disappointed in myself for forgetting the name of the lady at the front desk but if she remembers the guy who she printed a document for my apologies.

This hotel was awesome. We stayed here for 4 nights The pool was nice, hotel was clean, bed was super comfy. Breakfast here is DELICIOUS! The staff is fantastic. Everyone was so helpful and friendly! I didn't encounter any staff who were rude or indifferent or anything. They were all very accommodating! Can't say enough good things. We have stayed at a fee hotels in Greenville while visiting with family and this one was the best!

I would have given it a 3.5 if I had the option. I can't blame the hotel for the brown water, but I can't help not liking it either. They made it clear that the water is perfectly safe to drink and bathe in, but it is just not nice to look at.I had the king suite. I feel the rates are on the high side for the dated decor of the room. There was a water stain on the ceiling. No, not horrible, but not nice to look at either. Suite was a good size and had a jacuzzi tub.Staff was very friendly. Can't comment on breakfast, was gone by 4am. The town looked run down somewhat, with plenty of closed stores. I was headed east and next time might drive another 45 minutes to more selection of hotels.

We always stay here while in Greenville. Undergoing remodel so a bit dirty. We got a handicap room for some reason. Bathroom door is in the way of the out door..a bit awkward. Lots of tv channels don't work. Asked if it could be fixed. Was told no, they were changing cable companies. updated April 2022. Still renovating. Gym closed. Outside covered in scaffolding. Breakfast at 830 had a limit on bacon, omelets cut in half, and only 2 slices of bread. Room was better!! Front desk staff are always friendly!!

I just want to say that the breakfast here is wonderful. Rhonda was the server and she went above and beyond her duties to give our family of 6 a great start to our day. My twins were really craving pancakes and although the establishment usually only serves pancakes on the weekends, she set up the pancake machine and made my boys so happy! Her cheese omlettes were delicious and her biscuits and gravy really hit the spot....but what was really the best was Rhonda's awesome attitude and friendly smile! If every employee everywhere was like Rhonda, the world would be a much better place

Nice, clean smelling, comfortable rooms. I'd definitely recommend staying here if in the area. They are in the middle of a remodel at the time this was written, still had a great stay.I will warn you the water has a brown tint to it, but was told that was common to the area due to iron.

I checked in November 1, 2021 and was shocked at the first room that I was placed in (Rm. 108). It was the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. The young lady that checked me in was very professional and courteous. The furniture was worn and I felt like I couldn't touch anything in the room except sitting in my bed with my clothes on. I knew I would not be able to stay in this room. There was also no phone in the room for me to even contact the front desk. I went back to the front desk and spoke with Breona. I expressed my concerns about the room and she offered me a different room. She gave me the keys to go check the room to see if it met my standards. The room (316) was much better. What I can't understand is how I could even have been placed in that first room to begin with. To think that it was acceptable to place me in a room that hadn't been renovated is what I find to be unacceptable. Breona is the winner in this problem resolution scenario, but I don't think that I will choose this location again. I don't check out until tomorrow, but wanted to make sure you were aware of my concerns while it is fresh on my mind.

I was very impressed with the staff, especially Shaquille, Rhonda, and the breakfast crew. We were in town for a funeral, and they made us feel right at home! The hotel was very clean, and ALL of our needs were met with smiles. I will definitely be staying here during my next visit!

Didn't mind the renovation. But I called this hotel earlier that day to ask for a suite that sleeps 6. Lady said that they did have a room available and I booked it. We arrived late that night, due to long drive from Tampa....and they placed us in a room that sleeps 4. The gentleman said that there were no rooms available that slept 6, eventhough I apparently made a reservation to accommodate my family. Water had a brown hue. Hope they plan on renovating the inside as well for the price we paid.

Room was dirty when i checked in. They gave me a new one. The new room smelled bad and the thermostat didn't work. Front desk was very sweet but I didn't enjoy the dirty looks from the housekeeping supervisor because I wanted a new room. I work in the same business and frankly if one of my supervisors released a room that looked like that, they would no longer be with my team.

I would have given them 5 stars but I took off a star because of the loud air condition unit. Every time me or my husband turned the unit on, it made a really loud noise the entire time it was on. We couldn t sleep so we just turned it off. Thank God the weather was ok and we could do without it. Everything else was great. We stayed 2 nights. The breakfast was really good. Best cinnamon rolls I ve ever had!!!

I ll tell ya what, I got stuck in Greenville due to my truck being down for a day. I needed a hotel and I looked up every hotel in town and they were VERY discouraging. There was a couple I would ve chose over HIE, but they were almost $200 a night lol. So I chose holiday inn in hopes some of the reviews were wrong and they were. An absolutely phenomenal stay! Clean room, cold AC, working tv, and clean sheets. What more can you ask for? The water has a light brown tint to it, but it s very well explained before check in. It s safe to shower in at least. Don t let the negative Nancy s nit picking every single thing discourage you. I had a wonderful experience.

Our room was very clean and the have a laundry on site. The people were the sweetest people I have met on my southern journey in the US. Me and my husband drive started in California and we drove through the Delta. The water was very good did some research on the water was blessed to have a glass.

Our stay here was pleasant. The room was clean and the staff was attentive and friendly. Please beware- as others have stated, the water here is brown! The hotel has bottled water available for purchase if you are uncomfortable drinking the tap water. I would recommend this hotel!
