Super friendly and helpful people! I had to come in one evening while traveling to have tires balanced and new brake pads put on. Jay was very kind and made sure it got taken care of, even staying late when he didn t have to. I can t say enough good things about this location or the people who work here.

Called ahead to make sure they could take my car in for a tire replacement and there was no hesitation! Quick and easy, with a very friendly staff. Jay was a great help, from the phone call to getting us taken care of when we arrived.

First time there and I must say the customer service and the time of service was wonderful! Both ladies worked hard to explain and make sure I knew everything they were doing to my vehicle. With a smile might I add. Also the gentleman took great care of my car while providing the maintenance needed. I highly recommend.

I sliced the sidewall of my tire on a curb about 5pm on a Friday evening with my 4 kids in the van. I called 3 other stores that didn't have my size tire on hand. The lady that answered the phone was helpful & gave me a couple of options. I brought in the tire and they were friendly & quick. Less than 20 minutes & I was back on the road. I'll be returning in the future for my automotive needs.

Had a tire go flat on the way to Jackson. I pulled into the parking lot and was quickly greeted by Laura. When they didn t have my exact tire, they made sure they could have it delivered in 24 hours so I could get back on the road at the end of the weekend. Fair prices and great service. Can t ask for anything more. The new store manager Gennie and the rest of the staff are doing a great job to make sure this is a top notch business in their market. Appreciate your help!

I have to say, this is the best place to bring your car. Nicholas the best mechanic in town and the staff are not only friendly but also honest. That's why I'm giving them 10 stars. Sadly, Google doesn't allow me to do so.

The service was nice. The people there were friendly. It didn't take too too long for the oil change. I did have a slight issue but, after contacting them, they immediately rectified the situation 100%. Thank you so much. I don t even know where to start with this company. I m not usually a person to even write reviews. As a matter of fact, this is my first time ever.On Tuesday May 16, 2023 I brought my car in at 9am for 1 new tire due to me having a blowout. After them getting my tire size and putting it on, they tell me that I needed other work done which was new struts, shocks, alignment, & a power steering flush. So I agreed to get the work done. I communicated to Gina (Front end tech & very nice lady) and all mechanics that I had to work at 2pm. They assured me they could get it done. After hours passed by, time now was around 1:30pm and they hadn t even started on my car nor had the parts. I decided to leave my car with them and find me a way to work for 2pm. I made it to work around 2:15pm. They called me back at around 4:04pm telling me my car was done. This is where I was a little confused because they had a lot to do but it took them under 2hrs to finish. An alignment takes an hour plus struts and shocks!?!?! Anyway, I went to pick up my car. I made it back there at around 5:15pm and they told me I needed another tire because my other tire was going bad and it would still make my car pull. I agreed to get the tire. So the mechanic (they told me his name was Kevin) starts to change my tire and damaged my rim BADLY. I literally watched him do it and had to tell somebody else to change it. I was very upset but they offered me the tire for free so I let it go. After them getting the tire back on, I paid (1379.89) and left and headed back to work.On my way home from work that night, my car was swaying very badly when I accelerated. So that next morning I called Mavis back and told them what was going on. Gina (Front end tech) told me to bring it back in. So I did.I arrived again at 9am still having to work at 2pm. There was a whole different set of mechanics there and only 1 other customer. After the mechanic inspected my car, he told me that parts were left loose and that the other mechanic (Kevin) didn t even do the alignment I PAID for and that I needed new front lower control arms. At this point I was very upset because they had LIED ABOUT DOING 1379.89 WORTH OF WORK ON MY CAR AND DIDN T TELL ME I NEEDED LOWER CONTROL ARMS. Anyway, I decided to let them put the control arms on which was another 426.89 and ALL DAY THING because they couldn t get the right parts in. I had to call out from work because it literally took all day. All I will say here is that the mechanics are ignorant as to what to do with cars and they LIE. Some not all. After all the work I got done to my car, I spent a total of over 2200 and I still feel like they didn t do everything they was supposed to do. I FEEL VERY CHEATED AND LIKE I WASTED MY MONEY WITH THEM. Car still don t drive as good as it should be! I WILL BE LOOKING INTO THIS. And although, they gave me a discount, they broke the trust.

I was having problems with my brakes. I decided to take my care to Mavis Tires and Brakes in Flowood. That s the best decision I could have ever made. Marina is the best!!!! Thank you Marina for the best customer service ever!!! Thank you Jay and staff for doing an excellent job repairing my brakes. I highly recommend Mavis Tires & Brakes.

Friendly and welcoming like family...even though I had never been here before. No waiting (like Discount Tire makes you bring a sleeping bag to wait for service). They had my truck in the bay before I could sit down in the lobby. Thank you for old-school service.

Frederick was absolutely great. I have never experienced this level of compassion and professionalism from a company before. I encourage anyone to bring all of their tire needs to Mavis tires and brakes. They are professional, and are experienced in all makes and models!!!

Kelly was so nice he answered all my questions . When I arrived I was handled with care and my vehicle was serviced in an efficient time. My car drives a 100 percent better with the front end alignment. They are the best I will be back

Absolutely outstanding professionalism and work done!!! Came in for a blowout and they found my rotors and break pads were very bad and showed me how and why I needed it. They took so much time to make sure I got what I needed !! Definitely coming back!!

The customer service experience I received here from Dasha was outstanding. He not only helped me with getting my tire sizes and helping me through figuring out flex shopper also handle multiple customers walking in. I'd definitely recommend making this Mavis your tire shop if you live nearby..

I took my Lexus in to have the Tire Sensor checked. Amber let me know that the battery was rather low on all of them but one needed replacing. I will be coming back next Sunday to have all 4 sensors replaced. Amber was very nice and extremely helpful. Thank you for the superior customer experience Amber!!!!

I cannot begin to say how upset I am with Mavis Tire. The heater hose on my truck busted and needed replacing. I took it to Mavis because the problem happened very close to them and I didn't want to have to tow it somewhere. I had used Mavis two to three years ago and it was a bad experience, unfortunately, out of convenience, I used them again this week. I was reminded of why so many people have bad things to say about this company. I got a call from Amber at Mavis telling me what was need to fix my truck. I asked the total and three times during that call, I had her confirm the total and all three times, she said, " parts, labor, taxes, everything out the door". When I picked up my truck the next day, she gave me a total of about a hundred dollars more. I told her that's not what she said on the phone and reminded her of what she said three times. She informed me that they had to do a coolant flush and she didn't know when quoting me that had to be done. She also said the extra charge was for tax and shop fees and supplies. I reminder her of what she said the day before about "everything out the door". She said there was nothing she could do about it so I asked for a manager but was told he was away at a regional meeting. I asked her to call or text him. She said they couldn't do that. I asked again and again told the same excuse. I said " you meant to tell me that your manager doesn't care enough about upset customers that you can't call him or text him when something is wrong?" She didn't respond. I asked for the managers name so I could call him later and they finally said his name is David but can't give his last name. The unfortunate thing about this situation is the work had been completed, I needed my truck and it's not a product that I could just leave there and say, nope, not for me! There was also a customer there that followed me out saying she overheard my conversation and was dealing with the same problems. She said she has paid over $2,000.00 already for something that was supposed to just be an alignment but every time she leaves, she has to go back because it's not fixed and they start changing her for other things. I strongly recommend avoiding Mavis Tire at all cost. I question how it's possible for them to have five stars for their reviews because so many people that I have talked to have bad things to say and every story is that Mavis quotes you once thing, gets you to agree to the charge then adds things once your ready to get your vehicle and they do this because they know they have you in a bad position. You're not going to leave your car so you end up paying the extra money. Honestly, it's my own fault for this happening. I chose Mavis purely out of convenience, knowing they don't have a good reputation. That's also why I had Amber confirm three times on the call when she told me what needed to be done and what "everything out the door" would cost.

I needed immediate attention. I had a flat and needed a quick fix, Marina made sure that I got taken care of. If I am in need of service again, I would highly recommend Mavis. Friendly staff and very eager to meet your needs.

So thankful for service provided by Gennia and John. I was in immediate need of a tire not in stock. 2 other stores told me it would take at least 2 days. Thanks to these 2 I got a tire unless than 23 hrs. Thanks

Great place to come and get work done to your vehicle. I need a patch out seemingly nowhere and they were more than glad to assist in my time of need and got me taken care of in around 30 minutes as they said they would. I m impressed. I definitely plan on returning.

This is a good place one this about it they do good work . The manager Shelby is amazing he will walk through every step process that they work on and will show you the bad parts you have on vehicle to make sure you a better driver experience .

I have been using Mavis Tire in Flowood since they opened. I bring all my vehicles to them because they always have great service. It is hard to find a place that has good customer service nowadays. I am very please with Mavis tire Flowood.
