Audio Central is beyond professional and fair. I went in to ask some questions about a new stereo for my truck. They were very patient in answering any questions I had. There was no pressure for a sale that day. I went back to work to think it through and decided to give them an opportunity. The installation was scheduled sooner than I imagined being the holiday season. When I arrived, the owner was very helpful and accommodating. I only waited about 2 hours for the install. Once complete, the owner asked if he could show me how to operate the new stereo. I think this is what really amazed me. He took personal time to take care of a customer and walk me through some things so I didn t have to go look it up in the manual. Taking that extra time sold me in always doing business with Audio Central. I highly recommend everyone in the Jackson area to always use Audio Central for your needs.

Great Quality work with a focus on getting things right on the initial install. I messed something up (by installing an LED light bulb in the turn signal) with my security system. They figured it out and fixed it quickly and didn't even charge me for the fix!

Let me start by saying that I can be hard to deal with. I don't have much patience and can be pretty picky. I was looking to put a whole new stereo in a classic car that I own. Radio, amps, speakers, everything. My experience with Audio Central was quite pleasant. The salesmen answered all my questions.They always answer the phone and if the associate that I had been working with was not available, or happened to be off that day, the other employees knew what was going on and handled it. They gave me good advise and worked with me to get the best system for my money. An appointment was set and they installed the equipment on time as promised. What really impressed me was that after I had picked up the car and paid for everything I did have an issue come up. When I called them back and told them about it I thought that they would have me bring it back the next week because they were really busy when I had left. He said " bring it back right now". I did and they took it into the shop immediately and corrected the problem while I waited. They have earned my business and I look forward to doing business with Audio Central again in the future.

I don't understand some of these reviews. This business treated me great. They helped me with my equipment, when they really didn't have to. They also answered all of my questions. They seemed very knowledgeable. Because of this I will continue to do business with them, and send them business. I'm sure they will keep up the great customer service. I dealt with Brannon, ask to speak with him. -Alan-

What can I say about these guys at Audio Central? So much to say about them. They are very attentive, prizes are good, timing of installation excellent. Just everything about them is excellent. I've known these guys for many years. Thank you Ben, Austin, and Zac. If it wasn't for you guys, my car wouldn't sound so good. It's like you guys brought her back to life. And if it wasn't for you guys, she would've being stolen as well. The alarm system is just fabulous and I'm in love with it. Thank you guys and I love you all!!! Great experience at this venue. Had a sweet new sound system installed in my FJ along with a cutting edge touch screen radio. The install took place in a single work day with clean craftsmanship and the owner personally gave me a tour of my new features really saving me a learning curve. Ben was very patient and walked me through the descision making process to getting a reliable sound system at a fair price. I personally know very little about this industry and was thankful for Ben taking his time to cater the products at audio central with my specific goals. Great experience all around!

Super staff, friendly and knowledgeable about everything with car audio - I came in with a problem with my alarm system, and they fixed it in no time at all - wonderful place, make this a must stop for all your car audio equipment

I've been dealing with Audio Central and especially Ben Barrentine for nearly 20 years. I have never once been disappointed in any of the products recommended or the quality of the installations. Ben is a perfectionist and arguably the most knowledgeable home and car audio specialist in the state. A+++++++

It took 2 weeks to get my install scheduled. It took another 8 hours to complete the install. I was told it was ready & called to the front to pay. Manager Ben stated vehicle was being pulled around. (It was not, I walked around the building, he and another guy were still assembling parts with all doors open) Ben asked was I pressed for time and to give him 15 more minutes.(2 hours went by) Car audio system was horrible at completion; tech, I & manager agreed. I was asked did I want to ride around with it the way it was...My response, "No, I am dissatisfied with this sound quality. It is not up to par." Ben stated I could bring it back to see why it was not operating properly but to give him a break, at least a few days. I was there from 10:30am - 6:40p.m. and listened to it on my way home. HORRIBLE! I came back the following morning requesting rectification. Manager Ben tells me about another similar vehicle they did so well and they would have to play around with mine to get it to work. I told him I do not have more time for them to experiment with trial's & error's on my vehicle and it's best to refund me and remove the equipment. Manager Ben stated "he cannot do that"; "he was not authorize to do that", "he does not have anyone to remove the system". My response, you can and the equipment is outside. Ben replies "I'm not, I'm bout' to leave that's what I'm bout' to do". Then he walks out the front door to his truck with me at the counter still...Finally, to sum up the matter; I talked to him outside where he pleaded that he can't do this & can't do that. I had to tell him those are personal problems, this is a business that provides a service. Stop telling me how you can't provide for your customers and how much you are overwhelmed. Basically once your in & have paid, your place is secondary to new dollars coming in the door. He ultimately removed the equipment from my vehicle, but not without firstly making it known to everyone in the shop "this is what he wants", which was embarrassing along with me being left in the store after he walked off initially. So no one spoke to me again as I waited for the un-install & refund. I refuse to do business at any Audio Central location due to the hiring of unprofessional management such as Ben at the Flowood MS store.

Thorough and detailed service. Got an audio system and backup camera added to a little bit older car. They stuck with the estimate and worked hard to complete the job on the scheduled day despite several obstacles. The end result looks, sounds, and works great.

I had an aux line installed. It was $200 more expensive and the way they hooked it up to receive on a station it has static. They didn't put a noise filter on it so u can hear the feedback from the engine also. Ok they contacted me and said they would fix it. Awesome. I'll bring it in ASAP!Brought it back and the part was bad. They fixed it.

My car is old, it has many complex electrical systems installed on it. The employees are young. Yet very kind and accommodating. They are extremely professional. They recommended and installed a head unit in my poor old car and the installation is flawless. Even to the point of making the factory audio controls work. (On A 21 year old CAR?!) Not only that, they installed a Bluetooth hands-free system with the head unit. Totally wasn't expecting that. It even works with my pathetic flip phone. Its astonishing. I highly recommend this shop for all your audio/video needs.

So I bought 6 speakers, a sub woofer, and an amp. Dropped my vehicle off on Wednesday to have it installed. Was supposed to get it on Thursday, maybe Friday. They didn t get thru until Saturday which was a real inconvenience to me. When I asked what the problem was, I was told that they were having a good Christmas . Felt like their problem was made into my problem. The stereo sounds great but left a bitter taste in my mouth that I paid $2400 and didn t get any priority or even an apology. The installation guys seemed like pretty good guys.

In my opinion, they are simply the best around. I drive regular cab trucks, which can present problems when setting up car audio. I went with Alpine and JL Audio. Pricing was comparable to online prices and labor was fair. I also had them upgrade my headlights and install a rear-view mirror with backup ccam. These guys have the knowledge and expertise to design and install the best system within any budget. I strongly recommend.

After being turned away by 3 surrounding audio shops because they didn't have time to discuss install options, Audio Central took me in and actually stayed after hours to answer every question I had. Adding to that, they stayed on top of daily conversation before I brought my truck in for work. This shop was very professional and meticulously installed everything as planned, while also adding a few over the top additions that made the complete install worthwhile. I highly recommend this place and they have snagged all my future audio needs for sure. Thanks again to all the guys at Audio Central in Flowood, MS.

Wanted to add an Amp and new speakers on my 2019 Harley and was hesitant to let just anyone take the bike apart. Talked to Ben and he assured me they would do it right. Got the Rockford Fosgate Harley Kit installed by them and it sounds awesome. Would definitely recommend them for anyone on the fence about a motorcycle audio upgrade.

Absolute pros when it comes to home or car audio. I have used them for 15 years and always will. Ben is truthfuly as or more knowledgeable than anyone I ve ever met in the industry not to mention they are a dealer for some of the highest end products on the market. Manufacturers of such equipment don t let just anyone have access to their lines.I wouldn t read much into the negative reviews with obvious similarities here. Shameful to say such nonsense.

Hands down these guys are the best. Don t waste your time with anyone else. The guys at audio central are very knowledgeable and the customer service is outstanding. If you re looking for an awesome set up done right, this is the place to go.

Let me start by saying there are good things about his place. A bunch of my peers and a few work associates brag about the installs and professionalism of this place. And I'm with Mr. Jenkins, the guys in the back, shoot every one, seem to be pretty cool and seem like good guys, with just one exception. I am willing to bet the source of your frustration, Mr. Jenkins, is the same source every single person I have talked to has complained about, Ben Barrentine. At least from my experience, Ben should NOT be allowed anywhere near other human beings.He is quick to judge somebody and you will know almost immediately if you are worth his time or not. It is very apparent that he has absolutely no care about you unless you are spending money. I get it, you run a business and are doing this to make money. But you have to have some humanism. We are just people too, we bleed red just like everyone else. He is short with you and expects you to know every single piece of terminology he throws out there. If you don't, he looks and talks to you as if you are stupid. I am an average guy and I know next to nothing about audio, hence I went to a local shop expecting a good treatment, instead of going where I should have gone in the first place, ONLINE. He made me feel belittled and unworthy of his time. And don't you dare call up there either, if he answers, he is even ruder.To top it off, I can never talk to the same person either, there is always someone different at the front counter (always much much better then the alternative though). It is frustrating having to go over the same stuff with someone new. Granted, they are very willing to help and seemingly very knowledgeable.I like the shop, and I enjoy talking to the varying sales people ( I've met 4, so that must say something about how they feel about their management).The reason for this one-star review is, upper management (Hell it may not go any higher then Ben himself) allows for this sort of behavior.As much as I would like to be back, he has ruined the audio industry for me and will proceed to order myself (much cheaper I might add) on Amazon.

I got a quote from Street Smart up the road to replace an amp and speakers that would take several days to complete. Audio Central knocked it out in an hour for a FRACTION of the cost. Highly recommend.

Dennis Peeler came in and fixed all my problems in less than a hour, very knowledgeable and professional. I have used other services in the past but I will never use anyone other than Audio Central. I promise you that you will not find anyone around that can do a better job.

I came in here having an audio emergency and they fixed it on the spot for a decent price in about 35 minutes. They did an awesome job. I'd come back again for sure if I didn't live 700 miles away.

Audio Central is the only car audio specialist I let work on my audio system. Courteous and professional with attention to detail are the hallmarks of this business. I absolutely love my new subwoofer! Thanks guys and special thanks to Ben for his patience with all of my questions.

Helped out a friend of mine on his current set up due to faulty instalation by another local car audio store and did not charge him a dime. They acted in a very professional manor and fixed the issue the correct way. I would recommend this store.

I purchased a DVD and head phones , the unit will not close correctly, the unit is 13 months old, this issue happen within 12 months of the purchase date, I was told the product was not under warranty and I would have to pay for the repair. I want recommend and I will file a case with the BBB.
