I have an '06 dodge 2500 that needs an engine either rebuilt or replaced. It is a 5.9 cummins motor. I was told to contact Corey Herring about doing the work. I was told the best thing would be to get a reman engine from Jasper and provided them with the information they needed to get it ordered. After about a month of not hearing back I called again and went thru the process of giving them the vin number and info they required to no avail again. It's been over a year and I'm still waiting for a call back. I'm assuming my money is no good to them or else they have too much money already.

I'm warning you right now to stay away from Corey Herring and his shop; Corey is a shady and underhanded businessman who will lie to you and cheat you just to benefit himself. This place led by him is very greedy and will put unnecessary charges on you just to get rich. There have been stories (one is in a review below) of Corey and his workers stealing from you when towing your car or working on your vehicle. Corey tried to charge someone I know for a new transmission when all it needed was a few parts put on it. That person let another honest car-shop do the work and quickly ran from corey's shop. Be mindful that his workers have been trained to lie for him so you will never get a chance to speak with him about your issues. You may not want to speak with him anyway cause Corey is very aggressive and will not hear you out, will only scream and yell and disrespect you; I guess his workers have learned from the best. This is your warning to stay far away from Corey and his shop before you get taken advantage of.

I took my daughters sport track there and had a new Jasper motor installed and a few other items repaired. A year later the thermostat and housing needed replaced. They told me the warranty on the part had just expired and it was going to cost over $1000 to replace. The warranty was still good on the motor but not the part on it. I got it repaired at other place for $171. The shifting wasn t working right after that and his business said we needed a new transmission for over $5000, I researched that and it says it probably has something caught when the motor was changed out . Since then the valve cover gaskets are leaking and the mileage is still under warranty. I will Not trust them again. I was told Corey was very experienced but maybe his employees are not.

I took my grandsons 2010 Jeep there for them to check out a problem with it not wanting to shift out of low gear. After looking at it they informed me that it needed a new transmission which would cost me $5,500. After telling them no thanks they presented me with a bill of $90 for them looking at it. I expressed my displeasure that they didn't tell me this on the front end. I then had a couple of people both reccomend I take it to Quality Transmission in Tupelo. I explained the problem and he said he would check it out. After Toby looking at it he said that I didn't need a new transmission but only needed a new solenoid pack and only charged me $680 to fix it. I couldn't believe that Corey Herring tried to rip me off by lying to me about it needing a new transmission and then charging me $90 for them telling me that lie. I called to talk with Corey but the receptionist said he was in a meeting so I explained all of the above and asked her to have him call me, which he still hasn't called. I guess he's too embarrassed being caught in a lie. I would never do business with these incompetent crooks. I rated them one star only because they didn't have negative stars.

I took my truck there to find out why my shifter wouldn't shift into gear. After they got done with it and told me the price I told them I would come back at a later date to get it fixed. After the tow truck company dropped my truck off I noticed that my cup holders and gear shift boot was left loose on top of that my handcuff keys were missing which Ineeded for work. These people like to steal from you!!!!

I took my car here after someone else worked on it and messed it up. Corey's Automotive worked my car in and done a excellent job in a timely manner. The staff was friendly and kept me informed throughout the process. I use them now for my oil changes and my tire needs now as well. Now when my oil gets changed they do a 26 point inspection, so I don't have to worry about checking my other fluids. When they do it I know its done right. I would recommend this shop for your automotive and towing needs.

Absolutely the worst shop I've ever dealt with. Held my truck for 3 weeks "waiting parts" until I eventually had enough and had them put my truck back together so radiator never got fixed. When putting it back together I did have them install an egr delete and their work was crap there too. When I picked the truck up it had an obvious exhaust/boost leak but I was so disappointed with their work I didn't want to take it back in. Readjusted and tightened the hot side Intercooler pipe to fix the issue. Sucks when you pay someone over $1k, wait almost a month for your truck only to have to put it back together still broken and then go behind them and fix the parts they touched. Extremely poor customer service, say they'll call you back and don't, give you deflective type answers when they can't answer your questions which is 99% of the time. Save your time, your wallet and your vehicle, don't use this shop.

I took my f250 to these Powerstroke "specialist" to fix a simple problem, they told me the whole cab had to be removed, and that it would take about two days. Well after the third day I called, they where very rude to me on the phone, I finally got the truck back about 5 days later. When I got it back it was throwing 3 trouble codes, and there was a large scratch on the hood. And there was something rubbing under the cab causing a lot of vibration, I called and told them about this, once again very rude told me yhat this wasnt their first rodeo, took the truck back, 4hr round trip, they worked on it for 5 days, took my programmer off my truck without asking, said that my transmission was going out, that was the vibration, when I picked my truck up they had stomped dirt all throughout my 40,000 dollar truck and just left it there, and it still wasn't fixed, I took it to another mechanic, he had it right in about 2 and a half hours, I paid Cory Herring 1,100 dollars for a large scratch some dirty floor mats, and more problems than I had, they are rude, and don't know what they are doing, don't waste time or money on these crooks After looking over my truck further, they destroyed my rear cab bushings, they didn't even bother to replace them, just jammed the broken pieces back in on my 40 thousand dollar truck.

Took my van there to be worked on. I was able to get back on the road in less than a day for a job that would normally be 2 or 3 days. They are considerate and care about their costumers. When you go, ask for Ken Shirey, he is the best mechanic there!!! Would highly recommend to any and all of my friends and family!

This place doesn't even derserve one star. Took my car in to get a wheel bearing done and like 2 hours in the man comes and tells me that they can't get it out if they keep working on it itd break my (perfectly good) axle so I said stop. Then I took it to Martys right down the road they got it off and call me to say 3 star bent your axle so I have to buy a new one and the only place to get it from was the dealership which cost 500 dollars. So I called them and told him y'all bent my axle he ask me what do I expect him to do about it. I said I expect you to do the right thing since your worker bent it and to pay for my new axle he refuses and tells me to do what I have to and I am. I will be suing this company because I should not have to pay for Something that was perfectly fine when they didn't have the proper equipment and bent my axle. So don't take your car here.

I've used them twice in the last year. Both experiences were good. In fact, they charged me less than they quoted me both times. Quality of work is good as well. Oh, they called me when the work was completed.

This company is so unprofessional I took my car there a few weeks ago because it needed a transmission placement on it when I finally got it back they didn't call me and tell that it was ready I had to call them but when I got it back a week later my engine light came back on and I took it back to them and still they don't call me and give me an update on it i had to call them. Please don't nobody go there the only reason I'm going there is because my warranty on my car don't run out till next year and the warranty is through them so I have to keep going there until my warranty is up and that lady behind the counter don't need no job because she act like she don't know nothing and she don't know how to talk to people as a professional.
