UPDATE! THE CAR REPAIR SHOP IS NOW PERMANENTLY CLOSED!!! Mr. Obie has become of age & has closed down his business, the gas store side of the building is still open & may have been sold. However, when the shop was open it was one of the best shops in the area & i have been using them for years, sadly, many long time customers that Mr. Obie has will now have to find another shop.

Glad they are closing took my car down there now I need a motor and plus kept my money and didn t even put the rest of the parts on my car bad for business!!! God has a plan for those whom deceive his children and I have the proof

Jan. 2022: Can t say enough about the friendliness of the staff and help at Obie s Chevron. While traveling on I20, we had a flat on our new Audi (it has no spare tire). We had roadside assistance bring the car to Obie s because they said they could work on a 22 rim. These guys agreed to wait past their closing time to help us, which for traveling motorists, was music to our ears.When we got there, there were three guys waiting to help, but the tire was not repairable. They offered to store our car inside their shop overnight and Paul offered to drive us to a hotel on his way home. We took him up on his gracious offer. We were appreciative of their willingness to wait for us and to help.The next day Audi roadside assistance came and picked up the car and brought it to Jackson Audi where the tire was available.When traveling, you sometimes wonder who will be there for you and/or your family. These days, it s hard to answer that question until you re forced to. If you ever break down on I20 I hope you re near these guys! They re great!!Final lesson: maybe all Audis need a spare!

My family is from central Louisiana. One of my sons attends college in Clinton. When he had tire problems I called Amanda at Obie s, and discussed resolution options. Amanda and Paul have now been able to get my son back on the road after two tire issues, both times with professional and courteous service, all while I did not have to leave home. It is uncommon to find service providers who actually care and who actually go the extra mile to assure that things are taken care of, done right, and all at a more than fair price. Obie s did just that. My family is now a loyal customer of Obie s! Thank y all so much for taking care of my son!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Had some trouble on the highway with my front wheelbearing found Obie's thanks to my brother ,he found this mechanic shop.A God sent, they got us in and out with in a half hour, You need a mechanic this is where you need to GO!!!!!

So kind! The staff at Obie's went out of their way to help me when I had a defective tire from a different tire company in Clinton. They were more interested in helping me than making money. I trust them and will definitely give them my business, especially after the other tire dealers refused to help me after my brand new tire from them went out. Obie's is great!!

I love their business but this was the first time this ever happened. I had my tire repaired the technician put the wheel lock on excessively tight that they broke it. I had to get it welded off and purchase new bolts and a wheel lock. I was told the wheel lock would be replaced; however, I haven t heard back from them over 2 weeks. I will not go back.Service: General repairs & maintenance

We were driving across country from NC to TX and our AC broke about an hour out of Clinton, MS... we decided to pull over and got sent from the local autozone to Obie's. They were VERY helpful, fast and honest, but most of all SO friendly. We came in around 4:30 pm and ended having to replace our entire AC compressor and they managed to get it done by 11 am the next morning. Thank you!!

I have gone to Obie's for tires and batteries for years. Now I go to Obie's for excellent service. I am high risk for covid 19 complications and so am isolating. I just have to call him and they fill my truck and gas cans for me so I dont have to be exposed.. than you

Called for a quote on a car with a broken serpentine belt (that I laid eyes on) and was told that my car did not have a serpentine belt but had three separate belts... after thanking them and telling them I did not want them to work on my car I hung up. The individual from the location called me back to tell me that he didn't want to touch my car and that I was an a******. When I attempted to call them back to make contact with a manager to notify them of the situation the phone rang continuously and then I was hung up on. I hope that you have a better experience.

The owner is the biggest Azzhole I had encounter in the South for those who never been in Mississippistan , that is a hard thing to accomplish !

The little food half in here is really good. They have different food everyday and cook amazing burgers. It's decently priced too..if you're in the area, I highly recommend this place.

They have water in there Gass and it has damaged many vehicles in the clinton area

The store clerk stole ten dollars from us tried to say the card did not go through but the card company said that the transaction from the card did go through
