The hotel was right off the highway and a short drive from several stores and gas stations. The room (326) was modernized with newer sink fixtures and good water pressure. The tub and shower were not and had some lime scale on the shower head and the shower faucet did not have a fixed off position (just turned until you found the sweet spot where the water stopped running but u could have kept turning it past that position ad well). I appreciated the lighting and tv size, as well as the usb outlets near the bed. There were some concerns about the cleanliness of the room as there was a cigarette butt and food debris on the floor. My biggest issue that soured my experience was that I could open the door without a key. When I reported it the first day, the gentleman took the information, and i took all my bags with me. I came back later that evening, but it was not corrected. The next morning, I visited the desk, and the lady I spoke w said that maintenance has not come yet. When I mentioned my concern with the lack of response and that I had to repack all my bags to leave, she said, "we are the only ones who know it doesn't work..." No solutions offered to provide me the security a traveler desperately needs (another room)... nothing. It's just a game of chance that no one might accidentally try to go into the wrong room (which i have done before) and find all my things there unsecured.... 700 miles away is not where I want to find that sort of drama. IHG, you're supposed to represent some higher level of class with your brand... you can do better!!!Safety: The hotel was not fully booked... I would have appreciated more concern and attention being paid to the issue I had with the room not locking.

WOW! Wish I could give 6 stars. Beautiful property and extremely helpful and friendly staff. So impressed and will be my go to anytime I need to stay in the area.(And this from a professional driver who stays in a different hotel room over 260 nights a year. So big WOW!)Rooms: Newly remodeled a nice spaciousness

I made an account with Holiday Inn and booked directly through their website earlier in the day. I arrive at 5pm, and they have oversold my reserved suite. They have no other suites of available and don t try to accommodate my family of 4 with what they do have available. I was so let down. When traveling in a small town & what you thought was a solid hotel chain leaves us stranded. How do they oversell rooms?? Never again

We stayed here for a week and had no real complaints. Anything we needed, the staff was prompt and friendly. The room was nice size & clean. Bed was comfy. I'm not a big fan of carpet, but everywhere you stay just about it has carpet. The pool was nice. The breakfast was good, loved the omelets & sauage. They had a variety of hot & cold foods & fruits every morning. Felt very safe here, too. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed 1 night while passing through on a road trip. We booked 2 rooms and staff was generally very friendly. 1st room was pretty hot and muggy, even with AC running full blast. 2nd room had AC turned off on arrival and sheets and tile floors were soaking wet from humidity. Front desk supplied new sheets but did not offer to put on for us. Be it from the shower or natural humidity, the tile floors in the bathroom and entry ways were SLICK and dangerous as there were no exhaust fans. Breakfast was fine but no fresh fruit.

ill start by saying if it wasn't for the lady working night shift for the length of our stay, i dont believe we would have stayed.. i try to stay ihg for the points.. we called and booked the room for work purposes mainly because of the advertised pool and the points.. after calling and verifying that the pool was open we arrived to find it was indeed not......shower head was disgusting , air vent looked like it had not been cleaned in years,waffle maker "didnt work" room service seemed irritated when asked for ..room service....the finish work around the ac unit looked warped and possibly ruined BUT our stay 4/1/23-4/5/23 was made reasonable by the lady working the desk during the evening/night. she was always more than happy to swap our bath towels, i think she pulled some strings to open the pool for our kiddos, was always very friendly and seemed to actually enjoy satisfying our stay. if i was asked to recommend this particular holiday inn, my exact words would be "if you decide to stay there i hope you have the same young lady as a receptionist that we did otherwise i would find somewhere else to go?"

Stayed at this hotel over the weekend on 10/28-10/30. Came back all wet from the Jackson State vs. Southern game only to find out our room would not unlock. Took the hotel almost 4 hours to unlock the room, meanwhile we had no dry clothes to change into since all our stuff was in our room. Only person working was the front desk person who had only been working there two weeks.Owner/management failed to appear, nor were we offered any compensation for the inconvenience. His solution was to give us another room, how does that help when all our clothes are locked in the other room???I will be filing a formal compliant with Holiday Inn/IHG and ask to be compensated for the poor customer service etc;

Me and my kids stayed two nights. We checked into our room at 11pm. Once in the room we find the bathroom facet was damaged. The facet was very loose and rotated freely but the water worked. The AC unit had a indicator button missing so we could not adjust the temperature. I asked for fresh towels the following day and did not receive them. I was out all day the next day and once I returned to the room i called the front desk concerning the towels I was instructed to bring the dirty towels down to the front desk from fresh towels. Each room should have been check prior to the next guest. I was still charged full price. I will spend my money at a better hotel next time.

The hotel looks like it is need of some serious attention as far as the building goes. The door to my room looked as if it had been kicked in at some point. It worked and it locked but it was out of square to the frame and was difficult to close. The hotel staff were very friendly and courteous and they attended to my room every day which some Holiday Inns don't do. So that was nice. The beds really should be replaced with memory foam mattresses, spring beds are out.

First room had a ladder and buckets of paint in it. Second room had wet carpet all around the a/c unit. The breakfast didn't have gravy for the biscuits. No peanut butter. No salsa for the eggs. The orange and apple juices were very watered down.The bright spot was Bre. She did everything to help us and was absolutely wonderful.

The morning lady was slow and incompetent. Didn't even smile and greet me. Also, the cleaning ladies evidently started on my room and didn't finish... they took the floor mat, a hand towel, and a bath towel but did not replace anything. Plus the soap/shampoo/conditioner dispenser was unsecured. Shower curtain had mildew stains. TV channels was sorely lacking.

After a failed attempt at a nearby hotel, we were greeted here with top notch cleanliness and friendly staff. The place was so nice, clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was impeccable for a complimentary breakfast, along with the breakfast host. She was amazing and friendly, kept up with refilling all food as needed, even asking if everything was good and if we needed any help. This hotel was very comforting. We will return back here everytime!

I have been to this location a couple times over the last year.. I will start with the less than great observations.. Take the time to vacuum the floors in the rooms and halls. Cereal for breakfast. I passed on that. Other hotels can still offer a hot breakfast. Beds and pillows are mostly comfortable. Desk staff was friendly.

Our overnight stay was great. Room was spacious with a nice seating area. The blackout shade was awesome. It was very quiet and room was clean and need comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.

The room had webs hanging from the ceiling, and the appliances were in bad shape. I did not ask to sleep at the Adam's Family House. I thought I was going to a Holiday Inn Express.The housekeeping dept needs to note every room that appliances need replacing, and which ones, when they clean the rooms. Our TV even had ghosts that kept changing half of the picture strange colors.The next morning the hallway looked like a party had gone on, all the way to the elevator.Was this Holiday Inn part of the IHG Family?Just Me, De6-20-22

Decent hotel. Nice staff, but I found my room to have many many cobwebs above my bed! The bed itself was super comfy and clean. There was dirt in a lot of spots throughout the hallway from guests with dirt from their work boots. The towel rack in the bathroom was broke. The breakfast was ok all considering Covid-19.

I have stayed here many times over the last 2 years. Always good . I have never had any problem at this hotel. The employees are always nice and ask if I need anything. Rooms are good AC was a little loud last time, the parking lot lights are VERY BRIGHT. tv is good HBO channel is lame (IMHO). Breakfast is great The lady that does it is wonderful. great places to eat dinner are close by.

The lobby and exterior seem nice and clean but the rooms do not match that appearance. Broken toilet seat, things left in room from previous guests, AC sounded like a jet plane and barely cooled. We had 2 towels and wash cloths and one hand towel in a double bed room. The lotion bottle was half used. Total disgust. Staff was very friendly though.

The hotel is very clean and beautiful, all the staff was very polite and eager to assist and always greeting you. Julinda was very nice and went all above and beyond to assist In anyway she could. We were booked at the Super 8 checked-in and checked out the hotel it was horrible and smelled bad and had roachesand very dirty. Holliday Inn express offered everything needed. Just onething missing they didn't have enough outdoor seating that would be nice to have when you don't want to sit inside.
