Stayed here for a few days on a road trip from California to Alabama. The location is great, provides access to restaurants, Walmart etc.The front desk girl STAYED on her phone and did absolutely nothing else. If you called to the front desk she didn t show an effort to assist you other than to ask you did you see the housekeeper. The room was clean but really, really outdated. It was dusty and needs to be renovated. The thermostat was broke so we frozen unless we unplugged the AC for a while to defrost. There were 4 of us and ever only 2 sets of towels, so everyday I had to keep asking for extra towels and toilet paper. The garbage cans in the breakfast area and on the second floor by the door was NOT emptied for the entire 3 days we were there which was gross. The breakfast was just ok. The breakfast area could have been better. Sausages were dried out, eggs dried out, no syrup for the pancakes and no flavored creamer for the coffee. Also they are under construction so there is no pool or gym but that is not shared when reserve which should be.Also all the towels were dingy, please replace them. Also please give real blankets instead of 2 top sheets. With a little love shown it could be a really great hotel.

I stayed here on a whim. Late night driving, tired, I'm sure you understand. The rate for the evening through Expedia was $155. Save your money and stay at the cheapest motel you can find. You'll have the same room experience.Dirt on the floors, mold and mildew galore, stains, broken plaster, missing fire suppression, bugs in every light fixture. I can't believe a corporation like Best Western would allow a place like this to operate. Honestly, broke my trust in the chain.Employees were friendly though.I will be uploading photos.

Experience: I booked my reservation using a third party app. Upon arrival my husband was not allowed to check into the room since his name was not on the reservation, ( note there was not a place to indicate additional names on the reservation) however the front desk clerk did see me go into the restroom but still would not allow him to check us in. Once I returned, she took a copy of my D.L. and the keys were given to me. Once in the room we noticed the heater was on but the room was cold. As we walked to the window we noticed the entire window was completely off of the frame and hanging from the building. I went back down stairs to let the front desk clerk know. The clerk, whom we later found out is the manger Manny, switched out my room and proceeded to explain that I have 4 adults and 1 child in the room, the reservation was made for 2 adults ( we booked double queen room for 2 adults and 2 children the third adult was not staying). Manny proceeded to say that they charge per person in the room, however she was not going to charge me the additional, she rudely uttered out loud "you know that is not right to do that, and you don't do that again". Manny then began to stereotype me and said if I bring any more people in the room she would ask me to leave and not refund my money. Manny begin to continue to stress that we were not allowed to have any visitors or guest cause she will ask us to leave if we do. I told Manny that I feel very uncomfortable that she's making an assumption regarding what I am going to do. I explained that I drove 5 hours to attend a wedding and she was very rude. I ask for a refund due to her profiling me and obviously my presence was not welcomed. She stated she could not.Hotel: The hotel hallways has a stale water smell that is being masked by deodorizer. Bathroom was not clean and had missing shower shelves. The refrigerator was dirty as well as the building had a lot of structural damage throughout the inside of the property. This is definitely not something I'm use to seeing with a Best Western brand. The bed and pillows were very soft.In summary- Go next door there are 4 other hotels to choose from, this one was a red flag when there were only 3 guest cars in the parking lot while the other hotels had full lots.

Our experience here was good. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. The only reason I took off one star is because the floor is uneven. In some areas it's apparent the carpet laid over obstacles it probably shouldn't have been. For instance, there's something circular poking the carpet up a little ways down the left hallway.

This is an older hotel not at all what I expected for a Best Western. The Business and Fitness Center didn't work. There was mold in the shower and the tub didn't drain correctly. The staff promptly fixed the mold and draining issues. Was there for 4 days and they never fixed the Business or Fitness Center. These are 2 of the main reasons we chose this hotel. Breakfast offered was very sparse. Same pastries offered each day. Had sausage but not eggs. The staff was very friendly.

I will never stay at this hotel again, and I wish I could give it zero stars. My credit card was charged for all three nights of my planned stay prior to my arrival. I had already notified the property in advance that I was arriving on a late flight. When I questioned it, the response was "we were getting totally booked and the only way to hold your room was to charge for all three nights. We had to make sure your credit card went through." Never heard of a hotel doing that. One night maybe to hold the room. I wasn't as upset with the charge (since I did plan to stay three nights) as I was with the way it was said. Other issues included:1) 2 story property with no elevator2) Bathroom door - scrapes against floor, makes loud screeching noise when you open and close it. (I have video)3) smoke detector wrapped in tissue (I have a picture of it, but still haven't figured this one out??)4) TV does not work (night manager sent 14 year old child to room to check it. He switched remotes twice and changed batteries, still didn't work. Night manager notified property manager who said "nothing I can do tonight, will look into it tomorrow". No one ever came to check it out.5) Property reeks of cigarette and marijuana smoke.6) Fire alarm went off at 4:30 am. No emergency response came to property. Hotel staff seemed very unconcerned.7) Roach crawling on wall (I have a video)8) When I voiced my concerns to the day manager, she said "if you don't like my hotel, you can check out because I have over 50 people waiting to book". I checked out 2 days early and another family member checked out 2 days early. I wonder which one of those "50 people" got my terrible room!

Excellent!!! We arrived around midnight exhausted and the check in was fast and easy. The young lady even took a moment to ensure my discount was available. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was really nice too. We had a quick breakfast that was good complete with biscuits and gravy. Also it is well lit and safe! We had quite a few things in the back of our truck and no problems whatsoever. The gentleman at checkout was so nice! I had forgotten to tell them I had my dog with me but he was very understanding and it's also pet friendly. I HIGHLY recommend this wonderful hotel!

The rooms were clean, neat, and quiet. The breakfast was meager (thank you covid) but satisfying and the coffee was fresh. That's the good. Now for the bad, the place reeked of marijuana and the front desk staff we interacted with either didn't care or were participants. If you do not like the smell or heaven forbid you are allergic then I would recommend moving on from this location.

The room was clean, the bed was comfy, & towels were soft. We stayed for about a week due to Hurricanr Ida & the staff was so helpful with extending our stay and anything extra we needed. They made a stressful & frustrating time much easier. They also allow pets for a small fee.

Great stay! Everything was clean and it smelled really good in the hallways and lobby, and it was cool as soon as you walked through the door. The room was a smoking room but didn't smell at all of smoke! The bed was comfortable and the water was hot just the way I like!!!! I wanted to stay another night but I had to leave the next day to return to work. The housekeeper remembered me and my husband from staying there before which meant a lot to us. She is a really good worker too and very friendly. The staff that checked us in was really sweet and professional and made sure we was accommodated. And she looked up my account so I could get my points added. Them points go a long way....rewards!!!I use to stay here a lot in the past but wanted something cheaper, but please be advised I will never opt for cheap again!!!!!!! I'm back with Best Western from now on when I come visit my family in MS!!!!!! P.S. Please do not book a room at Super 8 in Canton or Jackson....their rooms are not worth the money you spent for them and you won't have clean sheets nor hot water!!!!!!! Sorry Best Western for using this time to complain about another hotel chain I wanted to warn everyone so they won't end up like I did!!!!!!! Wish you guys that own Best Western could buy them out and fix it up like your hotels!!!!!

Our experience at this hotel was great. The staff was friendly and helpful from the minute we walked into the door. The rooms were very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was good as I recall having sausage, biscuits and gravy, and hot waffles. This property had a business center which was very useful to print my boarding passes. I have stayed at other hotels and this hotel was a better experience for me and my family.

The room was very clean, neat and nicely decorated. It was very surprising to us how nice the place was for the price we paid. Checked in at 10 pm without a reservation and the attendant was very accommodating. We got a king suite for $70 with microwave and mini-fridge...Pet friendly and the free breakfast was good. Fresh biscuits and gravy, sausage links, cerial, bagels and cinnamon rolls...amazing for this price point

We were late getting in and the check in took forever! Rooms were dirty, no elevator so had to pack luggage up the stairs. Bathroom was not clean with stains on the wash cloths hair in the sink and something on the toilet. Floors had not seen a vacuum in forever and stains on the chair. Pool was out of service and so was the fitness room. Only reason we stayed it was the only place we could find that had vacancy, and I know why!!

I was really impressed with the clean and nicely decorated room. The carpets seemed nice and clean. The linens were fresh and comfortable. My children slept on the sofabed comfortably through the night. You controlled the temperature digitally. That was much nicer than a high or low knob setting. The bed was okay...a little hard for me but I am never satisfied unless I am in my own bed! The bathroom was clean. The shower was amazing! A hot shower with different settings for the showerhead was fantastic. Overall. ..I would definitely stay there again.

The clerk and workers were helpful. We booked 2 rooms. There was an odd smell in the rooms and one room was so bad it had to be changed. Also there was mold in that room. The next morning we found ants in the syrup so we went out to eat. We discovered we had left something important in the room and when we called the hotel the clerk retrieved it and held it til we got back. The beds were very comfortable but the overall cleanliness needed some work

Loved everything about our stay. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Rooms were comfortable and had adequate amenities, and clean! Continental breakfast was wonderful as well. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on our next trip thru the area.
