Thanks John for fixing me up today. I went in and told him I had a screw in my tire and he said let me look at it to make sure I can do it before I commit. Walked out, looked, sprayed it to make sure it wasn t leaking air and pulled the screw out and I was on my way. Super friendly guy with top notch customer service.

I recently visited your location in Brandon MS to have some brakes put on my vehicle, and the service was great! The young man who helped me, Kadarius, was excellent and very knowledgeable! He made sure I understood everything and he was very polite.! He made my experience great and i will be sure to come back to have brake and tire services done on my vehicle!

It is a good place, but I was quoted one price over the phone, but when I arrived, they told me another price.I feel there needs to be consistency in what is quoted to customers.Otherwise, everything else is great.

Bravo to everyone working at Mavis Tires and Brakes. I had gone in for tires on two different vehicles. Everyone was kind and very knowledgeable. Kadarius and Jarvis were very helpful and showed me everything that was wrong with both vehicles. I appreciate being informed and also the services that were provided. I will definitely be returning for future services.

Great experience . One of my tires was low on a few lbs of air. They thoroughly checked it twice, sprayed them, found no leaks. They didn't try to sell me a new tire. They were very courteous & helpful. They charged me nothing, not even for service! I highly recommend this place!

Let me just say that I had a great experience at Mavis today. It was getting late and my wife needed an oil change because she's going out of town. I called to be sure they could take an oil change an hour before closing and they said they could. I'm always worried about doing something like that because I know people are tired and they want to get home to their families. However, the staff at Mavis couldn't have been any nicer to me and made me feel more than welcome not once did I ever feel like I was hassling them, or keeping them from leaving. Thanks again for taking care of my wife's vehicle.

I ve always had great service with them but today s trip was a nightmare. I live 1 hour away so we made an appointment for Saturday 9am. Dropped off my wife s 4runner for a road force balance and front end alignment at 8:30am at the Brandon location. We went into Jackson to waste time and checked back at 12pm but they haven t touched it. She said we were next in line so at 4pm we went to pick it up but it was still sitting where I left it that morning. No updates, no apologies just a rude lady telling me they couldn t get to it today to come back tomorrow. We planned our only day off in months to get this done and wasted the whole day waiting just to be told they couldn t do it. When you make an appointment days before that should mean something but it doesn t. Very costly day waiting for service that was never performed. Customer service and planning is lacking.

Horrible Customer service! I brought my car in and stated I only needed front brake pads. The lady said they would have to replace all 4 rotors and the front and rear brake pads for a total of over $2000 dollars or they wouldn't do nothing at all. She quoted me for all four pads, rotors, and Calipers. When I was very clear from the beginning that I only wanted front pads. I left there and went to Gleason Tire in Pearl, Ms where they completed what I asked for, the total was $280. Dont let Mavis Tire make you purchase their over priced product and labor cost! I literally saved over $1600 by simply going down the road.

We were told a 10 minute wait to have our truck pulled in then an hour to put our tires on. It took them 3.5 hours to put the tires on. We finally thought we were done but no something is wrong with the driver side steer tire. It's a tapping noise. We turn around and call them to let them know we are headed back. They said they will look at it right away. After a guy looks at it when we pull up they tell us it will take about 30 minutes and we will be out of here. It has taken them 15 minutes just to pull the truck inside. We will NEVER be back here. Oh we also asked if there was some type of discount we could get since we it took so long and they would not apply any type of discount.

The associate Jay took care of me, he constantly kept me updated with what was going on with my car, I didn t have to wait long at all, he had great customer service and always inform the customers on the status of our cars, I would highly recommend anyone looking to get your car worked on and serviced Mavis In Brandon MS is the place to come, and ask for Jay, he will surely take care of you and your car.Best Service to Me Hands down!! Mavis is amazing, the associate at the desk Bryan took care of me , friendly staff and engaging conversation, they kept me updated on the status of my car and I didn t have to wait long at all, I highly recommend coming to Mavis In Brandon for your car care needs, military servicemen Kelly .

Stopped in the Orleans Way location low coolant lite on they checked it for me and reassured me my vehicle was fine and safe to drive. They were extremely nice and understanding. I recommend this location. And I will be going back.

Unfortunately, my go-to tire place has gone downhill drastically over the past few months. Last time I reviewed, it was 5 stars. Now the service is terrible. I came in recently for a simple issue, and was told they didn't have the time... I get that - busy. Came in the next day and stood at the counter for 6 minutes without being acknowledged... the desk person was standing in front of me, texting. After 6 minutes, he told me he would be right with me and stepped into the office (in view) to text some more. 9 minutes later, he came out and told me they were booked for the day. I should try again tomorrow.Skip to two days later... stopped in to get that same minor issue. Three guys in the office, no one came out for 10 minutes before I (and the lady behind me) walked out.Next day, I am on my way to a different tire shop and decide to stop in again... one last time. They close at 6... I was there at 4:15. Told me the techs leave in 30 minutes. That is, of course, after waiting for 10 minutes fore someone to come into the lobby.I used to love this place and their great service. I used to refer tons of people here. I just can't recommend Mavis Tire anymore.I hope that some changes will be made that allow this store to get back to the great service it used to have.

Overpriced and they told me to leave a good review for a free oil change, which I did at first.But they did fix my car, even if they charged me for some things that weren't discussed. Also, long wait.Funny enough there was a guy that came in while I was waiting, who chewed out the staff a little for doing more to his car than he expressly told them to. Like taking off all his tires to do their inspection of other parts besides the one thing he told them to fix.So I'd say don't really go here unless it's an emergency and there's nothing else open.

I had a wonderful experience at Mavis. They are fast and and friendly. The gentleman that help me, Jay did an excellent job helping me with what I needed. He was very thorough about the things that needed to be fixed on my car and gave an accurate estimate for those items. I highly recommend coming here for your tire and brake needs. And make sure you ask for Jay!

Went to have my tires put on, nothing else. Made an appointment to come in and wait. Upon arriving I was told the wait would be longer than usual so I decided to drop it off. 3 hours later I get a call saying my brakes are almost worn down and I need new pads and rotors. Just for the back, $550. I laughed it off and told him I do my own work and not to worry about it. After another 2 hours (5 hours for two tires to be put on) I finally can pick my car up. They decided to remove all wheels for brake inspection when I only wanted tires put on. All tires, scratched, lug nuts were over torqued and multiple stripped, and my favorite part. The technician stole tools from my vehicle. I had to walk into the shop and grab it from his area and then left. If you care about you re vehicle avoid this place at all cost. ALSO, they denied scratching my rims and said they were like that but couldn t provided pre inspection pictures of it. Again, AVOID AT ALL COST.

I had a wonderful experience with Mavis. Everyone was friendly and timely and got me setup with exactly what I needed right then, and things of need later (with discounts for those services) ! Cars are always expensive but I promise mavis helps where they can to get you back on the road with both arms and legs !

On 12/22/2023, my husband and I went to the Mavis Tires & Brakes in Brandon, MS. We went to Walmart Tire first and they could not service our 1996 Chevy Van do it s size. We had the wonderful pleasure of working with the staff your Brandon, MS store. We went in for tires and found our brake shoes were gone and rotors needed immediate replacement. It was a challenge getting the right size rotors, but the team never gave up. We hit terrible fog later that evening and having this brake job done provided us with a sense of safety and confidenceWe also wanted to give special recognition Coreyiane. She provided excellent customer service, communication, and support. She also was very kind and patient. In summary, we had a very positive experience with this Mavis Tires & Brake team .

This tire shop appeared to me like manna from heaven. Luanna is a customer service rock star! I had a blowout on the interstate and not being from the area, I had no idea where to go. The tow truck driver recommended and took me to Mavis. I could not have asked for anything better. They told me exactly how much it would be up front, got me right in and back on the road within an hour. They also remembered I wanted to keep the old tire for road hazard insurance purposes; they put it in a bag and loaded it in the back of my SUV for me. They also checked and adjusted all the tire pressures, not just the one they replaced. That was a week ago and I'm still tickled at how great it turned out. Luanna is a rock star!

If you need tires, you should definitely check this place out! Friendly service and super helpful to customers. We had a blowout on Saturday afternoon, and all though they were very, very busy, they found the oversized tire we needed and got us fixed up! I can t thank James and Melvin enough!! I highly recommend this for all your tire needs!

Traveling from out of town and noticed a tire was worn. Pulled into Mavis and grateful Melvin was there to help. He found a tire that would fit the vehicle and was concerned and showed so much empathy/compassion. He personally did the service himself to get us back on the road quickly. Would highly recommend this location and ask for Melvin.

My car needed some long overdue work on it before I could get an alignment. Jay talked me through what all was needed and let me see on my car where and why it required new parts. They were all very nice and I felt comfortable waiting with my toddler. It was great being able to pick what to watch on the TV and there was plenty of room for toys, etc plus a table to work at. I've been looking for a reliable place to bring my car, so I'll be back.
