I have never used this place before even though I have lived in Rankin county for years...I got my old truck 2004 Toyota Tacoma needing new wheel bearings done and the baby is driving like new..Definitely worth seeing them!

Would definitely recommend you go to a different mechanic. Don't waste your money or time here, please!! Really wish I would have read the reviews before we wasted both our money and time here.. Also, the receptionist (which is his wife, I believe) was extremely rude and hateful to my husband over their mess up, so go somewhere else!!!!!! Would have Givin 0 stars if that was possible

Way too costly for the small job. They dont tell you what price you are looking at before they start . They just call you and give a over priced fee. i was charged $1644 for a simple job that only shouldve took 4 hours even by the book. No internal work was done to my engine only. He only put spark plugs in that i provided, a key switch, adjust rocker arms, a carburetor mounting plate that i was charged $70 which i didnt need. This job shouldnt have cost me $1644. He said he charged me $125 a hour for 10 hours along with $200 for parts but only bought mounting plate and trans fluid and then charged me $109 tax on top of it. I do not recommend the services of these people. Charged me way too much on a 1975 caprice with a 350 engine. My engine smokes now. It wasnt smoking at all never before this. He told me its the choke warming up. Go elswewhere!!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have used this business on many occasions. One time was a full replacement of my fuel system. They gave me the best price in the metro area and had it done in just a few days, much faster and less expensive than the dealership. They remember you when you stop by so you feel like family. I have been doing business with K & M Auto for over 5 years on a steady basis. They aren't the highest and they aren't the lowest on price...good steady middle of the road pricing. The owners are good Christian people and they stand behind their work. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Mike is very knowledgeable on most all makes and model vehicles.

Vehicle broke down and had it towed to K&m. They diagnosed problem to be transmission. Being on fixed income, I decided not to repair vehicle. Had to have transmission work done. $900. Got the car back and the back wheels were roaring very loud.Took it back had two wheels bearings replaced. $700. Got it back the heater stopped blowing hot air even after the engine was warm. Took it back in today. Was told the thermostat needed replacing @$500. Finally husband and I made some phone calls to compare. Then informed "them" we were gonna wait on the "thermostat" and the front wheel work. Went to pick it up and was informed that water was added to the thermostat reservoir and maybe that "fixed" the possible $500 replacement.The heat blew out hot air immediately.I HAD A BAD FEELING ABOUT THIS PLACE FROM THE GET-GO.........ALWAYS LISTEN TO YOUR GUT!!!

If you don't mind a trial and error approach to auto repair that will end up costing you thousands of dollars then you should take your vehicle here. I took my wife's car here because it was knocking. They told me I needed spark plugs, etc. I agreed to have them replaced and paid what I thought was a pretty high rate but hey I needed it fixed. Got the car back and immediately realized the situation was NOT fixed. Took it back and they told me that it was instead the rocker arm, which needed to be replaced. I had them replace it and at this point I had spent over $1,000. Ended up having to take the car to Firestone to getting it running right.

The mechanic I had used and trusted for years closed I happened upon K&M Auto and called for an appointment. They got me in right away, did a fast and good job The personnel were very friendly and professional. I have definitely found my go to mechanic.

DateLine NBC needs to do a story on these people. They don't deserve this one star, but I had to give it to give this....They said they couldn't see a problem with my brakes, but by end of of phone call had sold me a new Master Cylinder (should have known better but was desperate to get my car fixed).I got my car back with over $500 less cash in my pocket and a $100 MC you can get at the parts store minus a brake fluid filter screen and minus 4 new bleeder screw covers (bought 10 a few days before)So I put another 4 bleeder screw covers on and took it back because my brakes were the same if not worse and told them about my missing parts. They told me they would order the parts and told me I needed to replace my week old pads and rotors. So I did and found that they took my covers AGAIN and replaced them with some old dry rotted ones that didn't fit.A week later I tried getting my parts and I was told that the MC didn't come with a filter and would have to pay for the difference of a new OEM MC and they had already replaced my covers. LOL

I paid $1,000 to have an alternator put on and to fix my oil leak he didn't look for the problem he just guessed it ain't got it wrong now wants me too pay him to go back and try again I was going through one quart of oil a day before he touched it now I'm going through 2 quarts of oilService: Engine repairService: Engine repair

Diagnosed my vehicle wrong and charged me for their guess work. I guess if you have several hundred dollars to piss away on trial and error, go for it but I wouldn't waste my time.
