An absolute horrible experience. We stopped to grab some fresh fruits, veggies, and other things for our Sabbath Bible study snacks. The fruit was old. We did purchase several items. The cashier scanned our items and told us our total. A coworker was speaking to a young child about where frozen dumplings could be. Our cashier turned toward them and exclaimed that she didn't know were they where. My fiance stood there for several minutes holding his money out to pay for our items. Yet, our cashier continued her discussion with her coworker. He simply stated: hey, I'm right here; holding his money out to give to her. A young lady who bags groceries came in and sparked a conversation, where they smirked, and laughed at my fiance. The cashier then gives my fiance his change back, but said in a smart tone "Hey here is your change back." Then smirked and continued laughing. My fiance asked if he could speak to a manager. We got an assistant manager, who would not look at us nor face us to speak to us. All he would say is uh huh, uh huh, uh huh. My fiance asked if he would please look at him and the assistant manager said, "No, I cannot do that." There was no apology from the cashier for her rudness, neither was there an apology from the assistant manager. My fiance was so upset that he went back in to return everything that he purchased. Only to find the cashier, the assistant manager, and another coworker that wasn't involved mocking him and laughing at him.I'm absolutely disgusted how they treated a Marine Vet. My fiance is a manager of a store and he would've never tolerated a cashier or an assistant manager treating a customer in this manner. We will NEVER shop in this store again.

Walden's Supermarket has the most incompetent workers that s inconsiderate to people of color. I go to this store ever other day spending $200 to $300 daily just to have them look down upon people my color !! My mom card was locked and she insisted it just didn t have any money on it!! Constantly yelling it s insufficient not giving time to get the card unlocked! Now days everyone locks there card for security reason but since im black I m broke. I never been so humiliated in my life but for a person to think cause my card locked im broke and just wasting her time trying to fake break in an ice storm like girl!!!!!!

Think of this store as a small neighborhood grocery store. It s much nicer than going to Walmart.

The best grocery store around. All the employees, and owners are amazing. They have the best prices and will order things for you if they don't have it. The deli makes excellent food, especially the cakes and such!

Nobody beats this man's meat!!! Lol I just HAD TO SAY THAT. Owner and employees are so helpful and kind. I shop with them as much as I can. The store is always clean and products are front and faced neatly so you can find your products easily. I love their carts always clean and never rickety and squeaky. The bag kids are so sweet . I love Walden's.

Love going here they have a great meat and produce selection. Love the hot meals they make here everything is good. They have a bakery with a variety of sweets and deli for meat and cheeses

Waldens is a great grocery store. The employees are always friendly. They have good prices on their meat and they cut it themselves. I also love them because they carry Slug burger meat!

Friendly service, Great meats, and over all clean store and when they can make home made county sausage it's the BEST in town it sales out FASTI DONT even like sausage but I LOVE THIS ONE when they can make it

I've shopped at Walden's 30 years I know and always have felt taken care of. A lot of workers feel like family to me almost r should I say their faces r as familiar as some family faces.

I've always enjoyed my experiences here. The staff is friendly, and the bakery/deli is one of the best in town. Everytime I visit, I always pick up something from the bakery there.

My visit is always good. My opinion is that's the only supermarket in town. No one's meat has the quality and the friendly service is just hometown folk.

1.79 ground beef family pack. You can not beat waldens meat. They also have Kelly's chili and pick 5.
